I saw the Klezmer Conservatory Orchestra in Boston in 1986 & have loved them ever since.
Now, this is weird. I left work early yesterday as I was getting sick. I went to bed with a fever of 101. and all night long I dreamed of klezmer music playing all around me, all night long. I am not even Jewish!!! so I don't know what that was all about. Klezmer is so upbeat and I have a feeling angels were trying to instill uplifting music so I wouldn't get worse; as I was quite ill. I have the flu I guess.

VERY INTERESTING TO SEE THE FIDDLE PLAYER / SINGER DOING A TYPICAL APPALACHIAN CLOG DANCE TO A KLEZMER TUNE . USUALLY CLOGGING IS DONE TO BLUEGRASS MUSIC ,, BUT KLEZMER AND BLUEGRASS HAVE MUCH THE SAME BEAT . IN NEW YORK A FEW YEARS AGO THERE WAS A GREAT BAND THAT CALLED THEMSELVES ' THE KLEZMER MOUNTAIAN BOYS '
