@@analogg86 if you use "Static address" the system waits an address. If you don't want configure any ip address (static or dhcp), it's better unmanaged, and it works like a tranparent bridge. It's just a logical configuration Other reason: It works now with "static adresss" (and "unmanaged" works too), but future versions can reproduce error if you choose "Static addres" and don't write any valid IP address.
@@tubeporuntubo thx for answer! Can I type "unmanaged" for a WWAN interface on second (repeater) router, if it connected to main router, and gets from there a DHCP adresses with relay bridge on second router?
this additional network is only for management , because i lose access to the settings, although I put the ip address on the relayd bridge. The router becomes inaccessible and so secure with connectivity!
@@hristopopov4724 i tried the same you did, but after deleting the lan, i cant access to the luci gui....what happened?? what should i do now???...help me pleaseee
Deleting the existing interfaces caused issues for me. This guide worked perfectly for me (Only difference is I setup wifi before installing the packages so I could do it all from a clean reset) wiki.openwrt.org/doc/recipes/relayclient
It's helpful for me.
But some steps is not clear to other and not neccessary.
Somehow, it is helping done what i need.
Thanks again.
Thank you very-very much!
better _"unmanaged"_ protocol in lan interface instead of _"Static address"_ without configuration.
why?
