Maybe that sounds dramatic but it’s genuinely one of the most beautiful things about the internet, the fact that people are here to share and assist 💖 THANK YOU, I now feel confident in making a $200ish purchase because I have this video to reference! Just got these for my 2017 Forester they are nice , the rubber piece on top we pushed in, sliding across too hard ( too difficult ), could not really see what screw hole it was going in and we just torqued them very hand tight, the cover keys were little plastic keys, everything really looks nice just remeasured it is good
Only question I would ask is did you order the right ones? They are different for the sedan versus the 5 door (hatchback). Just curious because mine installed very easy.
For me and my son it took us maybe 35 minutes , we installed the top rubber bumper inside and the wind guards inside , the rest all outside just pick a nice day , we rolled all the car windows down, way easier nothing to bump, if you have a small step stool turned sideways with support you can look downwards onto the roof easier only thing I’d recommend , the protective stickers are a little tricky but they do allow you to kind of peel up a little, hardest part

Hey broski! I was wondering what type of bike rack can actually fit in there? Usually theres a layout in the center of those bars
I bought these to hold a kayak mount so I'm not really sure to be honest. I also installed a hitch that could be used for a bike rack.
So they are not adjustable? I wanted to put my bike but the racks are to close.
No, they snap into the slots on the roof. Those with the other style can adjust them I think.
What’s the most weight that you can put on those roof rails?
I think it was like 175 or 200lbs
would this work for a sedan as well?
