I bought my Crio 8432 white toner printer back in September and all I can say is this thing is pure magic. It makes everything easy to do. This was my gift to me for graduating school and receiving my bachelors in Graphic Design this past August. I recommend anyone who’s interested to go ahead and get it!! Makes designing sooooo much fun!!

    Hello Crio,
1 - Do you have an independent wash test to show how many washes a print will last?
I am almost falling in love with the white toner but I am not convinced about the durability, washability.
The concern is cracking, peeling off, fading. I see people on TH-cam complaining about that using white toner machines.
The "feel" of the print is not the same as screen print or DTG, but that I can live with.
I know we should leave negative space on the graphics and use other techniques to minimize the "feel" issue.
2 - Do you have an independent wash test comparing a shirt done with and without the T-SEAL sheet procedure to certify the durability you claim?
3 - What is the T-SEAL sheet made out of?
4 - The T-SEAL is reusable, it won't stain catching the ink from a transfer, then messing up the next transfer?
5 - I confess I did not understand the need for the transfer trimming. It made no sense. If the "glue" adheres to the toner ONLY. (the graphic)
6 - Is the regular paper finishing sheet reusable?
7 - The 8432 machine accept neon color and metallic color toners?
8 - Are the OKI toners regular toners that prints on paper?
I mean, the transfer "magic" only happens because of the marrying of the glue sheet later and there is nothing special or different about the toners?
I am not talking about the WHITE toner on top of the colors that most printers don't have.
I don't want to sound confusing, I'm trying to say: If I print a graphic in a different laser toner machine that costs a lot less (any brand), then do the glue marrying step, will it work as a T-shirt transfer? If yes, why do i need to pay more for your machine? I am not sure other white toners exist, though, if not maybe this would work only on white garments.
9 - The presentation mentioned using or not using the Black toner but forgot to explain more or show us both cases is real use for comparison.
    - All my questions relate to the A+B transfer system. I already realized the 1 paper system is no good.
10 - Why should I buy your 8432 machine and not a Roland BN20-A? Please, convince me.
My view on both so far (open to change opinion):
    8432
    much faster graphic print
much slower process after graphic is printed
    less resolution
    less maintenance
    no ink clogging
    BN20-A
    much slower graphic print
    much faster process after
    more resolution
    2 machines in 1 (print & cut)
    more maintenance
    possible ink clogging
11 - Both companies Oki and Roland are rock solid japanese quality but I know for a fact Oki is withdrawing from some countries leaving customers hanging.
Direct to Film would be good if it wasn't for the powder B.S.. The DTF name is misleading.
Having the cash, DTG is the best machine (even with all its drawbacks), unless somebody proves me wrong.
I am ready to pay the 8k for the Oki if I had the confidence of the results.
    Thank you.

I was told the forever light type papers are only for fast turnaround jobs and won't withstand washing as well as using forever dark (2 piece) transfers. Can you go into the washability of the single stage vs two stage transfer benefits?

    • @createwithcrio
      @createwithcrio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

That does tend to be the case. You can extend the washability and durability by using t.seal but a 2-step paper always tends to last much longer.

The Crio printer model that we used in the video is the 8432WDT desktop white toner printer, but we also talked a little bit about our bigger size model 9541WDT. You can check out our website to learn more: createwithcrio.com
