@@GaPeachTy I want to clarify, I’m not affiliated with this channel other than being a fan and a tie dyer as well... from my experience and watching this tutorial it looks like he put the color on one side & black and white stripes on the other side. Because the shirt is pleated 〰️the tops of the pleats receive color, the bottom receives the black and white. ⬆️⬇️⬆️⬇️⬆️⬇️ When opened it creates a sorta staggered effect. It’s super hard to explain. Have you ever made a “spider” before? It’s similar in principle. Rewatch his tutorial. Notice up at the collar where the tag is... you can see the space that will lay against the back of the neck. That is the back of the shirt. The colors and pattern fall right in line with the front. He does AMAZING pleats and that is really what is creating such jaw dropping results coupled with dye placement.
