Wow! That's great! Hi, it's Carol here from Scotty Makes Stuff. Thanks so much for sharing your review of our Pocket 3 case and Roll Cage! 😍♥🎉🎁 Some of your viewers might like to know that we also have a range of Slim Cases for those who don't need all the content creator functionality and want to travel light.
Good day, Carol. I have one of these cases and roll cage on order, does it come with the belt clip or any other accessories attachments? Thank you looking forward to using this case to protect my investment on the osmo pocket 3. I film knife reviews and use will be using my camera alot outside.
Great Share! Went to his website, a lot of cool ideas. He has a filter case too for the DJI filters, a good solution for additional ND filters, pro mist and wide angle.
I bought and tried the SMS slim case and is very well built. However, from one side it makes the P3 too bulky and inconsistent with it as a pocket tool and secondly I found the case poorly conceived as to the upper removable part which seriously risks to damage the monitor every time you try to take it off. I did not return it to due high return cost, very unfair commercial policy. I can't recommend it.
You need to check out the 2nd gimbal case in the gimbal protector video you made a few weeks ago. I use it all the time. Not bulky and it allows me to easily slide the whole thing into my pocket without worrying about it.
Great video and protection case🙌🏽 thinking it may work for my car vlogs with all the different tripod mounts🤔 I just need a car mount 😢 like no one has a good one. 😢 too tall for my car
it is hilariously large, however, it's much more rugged now, and it's definitely going to retire one of my action cameras because I wont feel bad if it tips over while standing on a precarious surface.
That thing is super cool but too bulky for my use case. I use the Sunnylife expansion adapter and the Sunnylife gimbal protector that closes like a clam shell. It's "tight like a tiger".

Is there a way to mount this case to a backpack so I can film while it is attached to me? I see kits for the osmo pocket 3 but haven't found anything that fits it when the case is on.
@@mitp2514 pocket 3 is high maintenance 😂😂😂, so fragile, but with this case, i treat it like a normal camera, so much safer when filming a lot. I did find one trick to avoid the vignetting, I had to set the rotation speed to high, and for smooth movements, I simply move slower.
@Tonyrizk13 😂, I mean, the pocket 3 is not exactly pocketable as it stands, but I do get the issue of doubling the size. For a "camera rig", it's not that big. My rigged out Sony ZV1 weighs more than my smallest FF setup, but it's more functional/practical. Similar idea with the "pocket 3", it's how to make it more functional over size. With the OEM case, the pocket 3 is hardly pocketable, this is for those that are ok with the size increase and interested in adding accessories galore, and interested in a rugged setup.
It's massive and looks bulky. It turns a neat Pocket camera into a ugly looking thing that you'd need a holdall to put it in not your pocket. Scotty Makes Crap😂
As an added bonus, the Pocket 3 now becomes a valid weapon for self defense.
Definitely going to keep this case in mind.
and you can film your defensive manoeuvres simultaneously, it s a win win.

@@bigjayroadstar1700 They come with belt clip, 2 cold shoes as standard
@ScottyMakesStuff awesome, thank you for the information, can't wait to try the case out. Have a great day!
@@bigjayroadstar1700 You're very welcome!
I’m gonna have to check this out!!! Would fix all my problems!!! With the Pocket 3……….lol

Just received this in the mail. It is built like a little tank. The pocket clip is great as I can now attach it to my Black Rapid camera Strap.

The great thing about the OP3 is that it is so small. You just showed me how it becomes bulky and now I need a backpack to take it with me.
This is for content creators, it is a very purposeful setup, there are much smaller cases and accessories
as long as you live in a world where the ground is flat and clean outside an in
So like 5 minutes recording time and the it just melts? :D
Pocket ?

Its nice how the Pocket 3 went from small & unobtrusive to big & in your face LOL

love the intentional design. It would be nice if the rollcage could be more integral. extending the arms slightly would eliminate the gimbal issue.
Could you also test drop it onto a cement walkway from shoulder height?
Looks good. Allwviates my concern about gimbal damage. Thank you.
it does well, and great for active scenarios

@@ScottyMakesStuff Thanks I will check those out.
Isnt it blocking the microphones on the pocket or are the screw holes placed right over the mics?
Not blocked, 02:20
I honestly, need to find a case that can allow me to charge the device whilst having it mounted to a tripod. Especially for timelapses.
keep it simple, power bank at the bottom of the tripod and a longer cable. you can mount a npf plate + battery, but it will be a bit awkward to store.
Has anyone tested this I hot climates? How does it effect the heat build up on the pocket?

Should be possible with the belt loop I think?
Nice video and btw you kinda sounds like family guy🤣
How does the cover work with nd filters on.. Do you need to remove them as always or can keep them on so you don't have to go back and forth.
you can use it with nd filters on, no need to remove
Finally this makes life so much easy.. Ordering it now.. Thank you.

anything on underwater case ?
a.aliexpress.com/_EJywvCv BRDRC has one, not sure I would trust it lol
I'm not sold
Now you can call your DJI Pocket 3 to DJI Backpack 3. ☺
Does the cover fit with ND filters mounted on the lens?
easily, probably even stacked filters
How can i get it? I"m from vietnam
maybe check with their australian site
i like this but it does make it incredibly bulky
nope.
It’s no longer for your pockets with that huge case.
It’s meant to be worn on your belt side like Glock 19 with an extended mag at the ready

As someone who uses Blackmagic's "pocket" cameras, I can safely say that word has no meaning in filmmaking. 😆
Dude just buy the insurance…

It’s not for everyone, it’s for serious filmmakers, people that are rough with their gear.
