Bro not you making me want to do a comparison video between this lil thing and our full on camera car rig. haha. Thanks for the mention on my personal channel. I've been looking at this camera for a hot minute just as a little backup camera and this might be enough for me to by it to see what sort of shots we can get!
It would definitely be a great addition to your arsenal! :D
No way man! I appreciate you checking out the video that’s awesome!! 🙏 it’s definitely still a work in progress setup but a part 2 is coming soon with hopefully all the problems fixed! 🙏
Doing more with less, I love it! You've given me a few ideas here. Is this near Brisbane? Reminds me of some of the roads I visited in 2016 on a trip. Great job dude.
Yammie this is in Wollongong, NSW. South of Sydney, and can look similar to Brisbane as most of the east coast of Aus does, but most NSW cars have yellow number plates.
That’s it man! I really appreciate you checking out the video and commenting! I love your videos 🤝 This is Macquarie Pass near Wollongong in NSW :)
By the way, my dad and I watch you all the time on the TV 🤝🙏
creativity at its finest
Legend 🙏☺️
Awesome bikes, nice roads and excellent rolling shots!!! Thanks for taking the time to shoot and sharing it.
Your videos are so refreshing! awesome editing .
Thank you so much brother! 🤝🙏
No-hands braking while adjusting the gloves - I know that flex. Always fun playing with a new camera and finding new ways to be creative. Good on ya, mate.
Amazing stuff. Very enjoyable and informative as well. Thnx fr this video!
Aye!! I edited and came up with the idea in Vinh’s Video. I’m the guy introducing the pocket :) Glad to see it being done here. You did an amazing job. Cheers! 🍻
That’s so sick man! Gotta give credit to the ones that did it first 🤝🙏 glad you liked the video man! I actually have a part 2 to this video where I solved some of the problems I faced on the motorcycle
Great! Now there’s something else that I need that I didn’t know I needed haha. Cool video. Nice work 🤙🏻
Love the whole video and vibes. Great job and amazing ideas to try this out.
Thank you!!
This is freakin cool!
Would love to see some riding of you guys at that streets when its dry!
Your creativity is on top man🔥love it
Thank youuu!! 🙏
GREAT SHOUT - you got me pondering now!!!
thanks Jay - great stuff
Thank you for sharing your detailed test using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for cinematic shots. 🎥 Your insights on overcoming challenges like vibrations are truly valuable! We'll definitely try a similar setup inspired by your experience. Your work is a great resource for anyone interested in these projects. Keep it up! #cinematicshots #filmmaking
No problem! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for your comment! Part 2 coming very very soon solving these issues 🔥
Insane video bruh! Instantly subbed! I have been looking at Osmo Pocket 3 from quite some time before as well for a vlog & cinematic shot setup for personal use instead of GoPro or Insta360... This is something new application I found it's awesome! Plus I like the fact that you're an Alpinestars and Shoei guy 😄
What theeee! Sick rollers! No way I stumbled on this and you stumbled on the original pocket roller video we made 😂
That’s so sick 🤣 I’m glad you enjoyed man! Thanks for the inspiration, gotta give credit to the ones that did it first 🔥
Absolutely stunning! Keep it up dude :)
Thank you so much!
your sound set up is cleaaan!
It's Incredible!!
Not a biker but found your video from suggested. I actually got the pocket 2 based on the same video and found it really hard to mount to my vehicles due to vibrations. I have since ended up with a couple other cameras for POV drives but the pocket 2 still rocks for cinematic handheld shots.
Will be subscribing and watching any updates you do as it would be super handy coming up with a mount that kills vibration, I ended up with the gimbal on mine fully shutting down when I was stopped at some traffic lights in my mini due to the vibrations!
This is awesome, Mann! Making me want to give this a go with a few ideas of my own!
Thanks man!!
Subbed! Can't wait for part 2 with that funky anti-vibration gizmo thingy!
Thank you!! Yesss coming soon🙏
That's some amazing and unique content.
just explore your channel and its just wow.....keep going bro.....support from nepal
Such an underrated motovlogger!
I appreciate that man!!
Your friends are lucky dude.... Awesome Video
The footage going through the dark forest was such a vibe! Beautiful. I would love to know your camera setup in this vid
Thanks man! That’s what I was going for. Glad you liked it! It’s the OSMO pocket 3 with nd16 attached 4k 30fps 1/60 shutter speed D LOG M :)
The footage is sick!
Thanks man!!
another sick video broo!!!!
Thank youuuu!!
Subbed, your work is amazing, it’s inspiring me to work towards getting back in photography/videography. And hopefully fixing my drone lol.
Mate well done, super creative and interesting to watch
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed!🙏
I really like the cinematic story telling aspect of your videos. That's similar to the direction I would like to go as well eventually. I still have a lot to learn.
Thank you so much! ☺️🙏
Ouuu lets goo the rollers are very good already, looking forward to part 2!!
U might start something with this haha
Thank you so much! Definitely will be even better in part 2!
Great video. I have the Pocket 3 but I wonder if it should be more secure. I have a One X 2 and do not worry about it but this one has some moving parts.
Insane intro 🔥🔥🏍🏍
this video was so good i coudnt leave without subscribing.
Legend! Thank you so much🙏🙏
that's so awesome. Kinda really wanna try that out aswell now
dji really should sponser you with this insane influence you're having on me
Thanks man! That would be awesome 🥲
Great video bro those shots look unreal
Thanks PTIME!!
Fantastic bruh ❤
this was sick. such a cool idea dude 🔥
Thank you brooo! 🙏❤️
Wow I love your stuff. I just recently got my permit and going for my license in a few weeks, super stoked!!😊
Awesome video Jay, I like the colour of your bike mote then the blue one
Dude the colour grading throughout this video looks absolutely stunning, I loved how it looked in the upper mountain region, gave me horror/silent hill vibes
Thank you so so so much!! That really means a lot because I spend a good amount of time colour grading! I have a Lut pack that I am working on right now coming soon🙏
really nice work bro!
Thank you! Part 2 coming tomorrow
so you did Az's R1 servo roller.. Love it!
Yesss🙏
so epic man
Your video making capabilities are so good. I'm learning from you 🇮🇳❤
Thank you!!
Looks great. Looking forward to the next video with the Scotty Makes Stuff 4th axis stabilizer. And are you using the GoPro mounting hardware for that beast of a setup?
Part 2 coming tomorrow man! I think you’re going to love it!! I ended up opting for insta360 sticky mounts as they are a bit larger and looked less sketchy. You’ll see in the video! :) hope to see you over there 🙏
Awesome work!
FYI also have a cb650r and destroyed my phones camera within ~10h of driving. It‘s the high frequency vibration of inline 4 that are troublesome. So I recommend to act fast before its too late. Keep up the great work.
Yes man this is true! Part 2 is coming tomorrow and I solve all the vibration issues 🤝
always a good day then when you post a new Vid
I see potential.... I will have to watch part 2 👍
This kid can edit🔥
Thank youuuu!!
Bro may just have sold the entire bike community on this camera...
I need an affiliate link😭😭😂😂
Ok, Bro, this is purely a game-changer.... Well, almost. If we can figure out a way to stabilize the camera and reduce the vibrations to nearly zero. This would be absolutely Epic. I am willing to buy one right now, but I want to figure out a way to reduce this vibration. This would make for an absolutely incredible day of riding with a friend. Well done on this. Please keep us posted on any ideas to stabilize better. 🤙🏼
Yes bro! Got part 2 coming out real soon! I’ve tested the solutions and it’s looking real promising 👀
@@JayJankulovski Uffff 😮💨 yes sir! Looking forward to it. 🤙🏽
Really nice footage, Dji have come a long way since their first version (I use to work near their main base near Shenzhen in China), this looks great. Definitely need that dampener though 😎
Thanks man, so true. Got the dampener testing shots for part 2 now!
I‘ve been inspired by the same idea from the same video! But never was sure if it will work, cant wait to see more of your footages, to spend my money 😂
Yess man I had to jump on it right away, was so curious 🤣
The set up is really good. And actually the “wobble” part can be used in some scene, fo a trancition for example. This is really good tho, thank you for the inspiration
Great video! Subbed. What’s the name of last song, can’t find it in your epidemicsound playlist?
Very good and nice one i would like to have one of the videos camera on motorcycle. And i am not sure if insta 360 will solve such as issue 💚
Nothing like a good mac pass run. Also WHERE ARE THOSE TRAIN TRACKSSSS.
Killed it man 🔥 nice to finally meet you
Thanks bro! Yes finally 🙏🔥
bro ur changing the game i been wondering how to shoot rollers like these by myself 🔥
Thank you bro!!
Hi Jay, I just recently found your channel! I love your work! would you have any advice for a freshly beginner motorbike digital creator, like me? I am currently looking into getting a Insta360 X3 to record while I ride. I currently have a Sony zv-e10 camera, I use to record stationary videos, but looking into getting a camera for roller shots, as well as a chin mounted go pro or insta360 Ace Pro. Any Thoughts?
Did you use any zoom to give the impression the subject is so close? Does the camera have that option?
Great 1st test! Mounting the camera horizontally should reduce the shake. A small section of a "pool noodle" could act as a sleeve and help to dampen vibrations, mount that to the bike and slip the camera in.
Ah yes the brand new crossplane r3 I've not seen one in person yet but I heard they sound really good XD
I'm still in the process of deciding to get a DJI Osmo Pocket. But man DJI better sponsor you, these shots are insane! Love how much effort you put in these movies, hope to see some more of it
Beautiful, earned a subscriber that is gonna be around :D Keep the content up!
That really means a lot! Thank you. 🙏
@@JayJankulovski honestly I am gutted that I haven’t found this channel earlier… been binging the videos recently and you have motivated me to try the insta 360 etc so as a passionate biker and lover of cinematography keep it going!! 🇬🇧
wonderful video.
Thank you!
That remix of "hole in the earth". Where did you get that? I love it! Great video man. I would really like to get into editing and am looking for a camera setup. Gave me some great ideas. Love your videos.
what are your shooting settings for gopro 12
What bag pack you're using bro?? I like the looking.
I would mount it somewhere else like the back near the plate or under the tail so the wind doesn’t affect it
thanks for this! I was considering buying DJI osmo for skating and motorcycle since it's small and wouldn't have to deal with heavy DSLR camera
Hello, Quel camera utilises tu pour filmer sur le menton de ton casque? Car la qualité est sublime tout au long de la vidéo surtout sur les épingles ou il fait sombre dans la forêt. Merci à toi 😉
Using the INSTA360 Ace Pro! :)
Quality video man. Just wondering what would happen if you mounted this to the back of your helmet? The neck is one of the most advanced vibration dampening systems around, removes the majority of the bikes vibrations?
Can you please share what attachments you used at the bottom of the Osmo to connect it to the GoPro mount stuck on the bike?
I show everything in depth in my part 2 video and have it linked in the description of that video! :)
jay, bro which to dji action cam, great camera.good at low light
Get the Tilta cage and mount it flat instead of sticking up. Get a real suction cup mount (Tilta also make a nice one) and try to mount it as close to that as possible with a 3/16+pins to NATO clamp to grip the cage toward the center of mass. Also skip the extended battery (doesn’t fit in the Tilta cage anyway). That should solve a lot of the vibration issues. The cheaper solution is to just mount it to the back if your helmet.
ha very tempted to try that mate, vibrations may be an issue, I've already had similar issues with the camera gimbal so i'm a bit weary
Yeah I mentioned the vibrations toward the end of the video and am doing a part 2 fixing the issues
Awesome bro, you literally have done my idea :D
Im hyped to see the outcome of a vibration damper!
Thanks man! Yeah I’m super excited to try it out 🔥🔥 waiting for the product to come
Ye yo what genre music do you use in your videos?
Can it be done in DJI Action 3?
That’s HOOOOT bro!😮
Thank you bro!!
Man your video production is insane, thanks for taking the time to make a review on the Osmo! Definitely interested in picking one up.
You should forward the vid to dji so they can see how much promo you got them 😅
Thank you so so much! I just contacted them by email to see if I can get something sorted 🥲 I really appreciate it man, I’ll update you if I get a link or anything!
The sound is so crisp how do you record it???
does it track the bike automatically?
Hey dude, really enjoying your content. Great to see some aussie riding content! How are you finding the cb650r, im pretty torn between the older cb650f and the newer cb650r.
Bring more videos using this
Part 2 coming soon🤝
Can’t tell what kind of mount is on the bike can you do a video on what is exactly attached to the back of the bike, like is that a permanent mount then you have another attachment from the pocket camera ?
Watch my part 2 video of this setup man, I go more in depth about all that stuff :)
If you don't put or use some kind of vibration damper on the setup, you will mess up the focusing over time. The z-mount might be good idea but again your increasing the weight and will probably need a new place to mount the camera for better stability and for the camera not to fly off the bike. Also the wind could affect the bounce/balance from the z mount, making the footage useless. your onto something. Try mounting it to your passenger peg area with strong selfy stick, and see how that works out.
Yes I came to this conclusion aswell, at the end of the video I talk about vibration dampers and other solutions and you are spot on. I’m definitely gonna figure it out 🙏
Looking forward to the damper setup. I am looking for more ways to do this with my Pocket 3 as well.
If I remember correctly, the old osmo pockets had this spring like hand held mount that compensates for up and down movement or basically the Y-axis. If you look up 4th axis stabilization for osmo pocket you’ll see what I’m talking about. For dampening, the phone mounts have that triangular dampening thing, maybe could be rigged? Anyway good luck!
Ya when i owned the original osmo 4k, I bought a z mount that worked great. I guessing something similar or some type of dampening system like quadlock has but bigger for a drone might work. But at that point, you will need this system clamped down or bolted to axle or subframe, I wouldn't trust it with 3m tape lol. Honestly though, keeping this system on a car is probably the best option. Not much room on the bike and the suspension on a car with 4 points of contact is way better than the bike with only 2 points.@@siardyhome1418
Hii can you do a video on how to color grade go pro hero 10 footage?
what mount did use for the osmo cam ? Cant find them and how does the camera hold ? Is that a suction cup
The mount that clicks on came in the creator combo, and the sticky mount stuck to my bike is just a GoPro mount. But I won’t be using that again to sketchy and risky. Will be changing that for the next time.
@@JayJankulovskithanks. I am waiting for the next video
I'd be fitting a safety tether to that camera ASAP... A simple rig for your backpack could solve your vibration woes fairly cheaply, too ;-)
Where is that mountain road 😫 looks so fun
What a great idea and video! What mount did you use in both part 1 and 2? Is it like 3M or a suction cup?
just saw that it was an adhesive but I can’t find it anywhere
Thanks man! I’m glad you liked it. It’s in INSTA360 adhesive mount that comes in their motorcycle bundle kit. I know chinmounts also just recently came out with a similar mount. I have a link in description for them. Browse their website 🤝
@@JayJankulovski you’re welcome and thanks for getting back to me! First day on the channel and I subbed right away keep making good content. 🤘🏿
Have you considered mounting the camera to you rather than the bike? Guessing it would help a lot with removing vibration. Maybe put it on your ankle for low shots, on your back for mid and on your helmet for higher angle? Just a thought.
Does this work through twisties? If your bike was going through corners would the stabilizer keep level
In my recent video I ran the setup in corners yes :)
Im still having a problem with the insta360 ace pro zoom. Sometimes it automatically zooms in.
