- Northern California is far removed from the bustle of LA and San Francisco. From the mystical redwood trees on the coast to the endless forests in the mountains further inland, the hills of Northern California are filled with intrigue. It’s no wonder this is the region that spawned the term “Bigfoot” in the 1950’s when logging crews punched into the untouched wilderness deep in the mountains. A decade later in 1967 these same woods would produce the controversial Patterson-Gimlin Film of an alleged Bigfoot, which has continued to capture imaginations even 60 years after the fact.
Drugs and crime have since ravaged these communities, from Illegal pot grows, meth operations, cartel activity and a reputation for people turning up missing or dead. The rugged nature of this rural area provides a backdrop for the mystery of the origins of the modern Bigfoot phenomenon.
Investigators Aleks and Eli travel from San Francisco to Humboldt county, through the redwoods and into the little town of Willow Creek, self proclaimed Bigfoot capital of the world, to investigate recent Bigfoot activity on a property with Animal Planets Finding Bigfoot star James “Bobo” Fay. After this they venture to the remote Bluff Creek area, where in the 1950’s logging crews discovered strange prints that would later be dubbed “Bigfoot”. They investigate this historic area with the Bluff Creek Project, as well as spend a night at the famed Patterson-Gimlin Film Site nearby. They experience seemingly inexplicable events while in this rugged wilderness.

I've been to that area. It's beautiful. Camping out was a thrill of a lifetime as well as visiting the museum in Willow Creek and Hoopa..I didn't have any activity but it was amazing to see that area. Great documentary on Bigfoot and the Bluff Creek area. Thank you! I did find bear tracks crossing the road and came on one at night driving around. Eyes glowing in the dark. Red, White, and Blue. Sa'be, Annishinabe or Chippewa for Bigfoot exist and my many experiences with them started back in 1974. Watching a documentary in a Walk in Theater in Dickinson North Dakota. Since then, I've seen 4. Oregon, Idaho, and Maine. They never hurt me and they're around and come in close, but one scared me off after a day of hunting. I'm sure they weren't happy.
Great to see Bobo again. Such passion in the bigfoot stories. Amazing. If anyone deserve to find bigfoot, its him.

I agree the channel is under rated but will grow in time however I just can't find myself into videos where the host is saying for sure what they discovered is for sure Sasquatch and not the possibility of natural occuring activity. Unfortunately some of there videos but not all are like this. But overall they have a few like this video with bring Bobo on whom is honest and humble that make such videos interesting.

I visited Humbolt Co. and stayed in Eureka over 20 years ago. I wish I knew then what I know now about Bigfoot. This is a wonderful documentary!
I'm 55 years old and running out of time to cross of one of my bucket list items to "camp at the PG film site" which has to be a spiritual experience for those who became interested in the early '70s as a tot and has remained just as fascinated and interested all the way to 2021!!!

I’m 52, first I ever heard of Bigfoot was watching an episode of “In search of” with Leonard Nemoy when I was a boy. I’ve been intrigued ever since. Hard to find people who share my interest. I do venture into various Wilderness areas in Colorado on some recon missions, looking for sign and such.

Yup, Even when out in the field, these guys are "working" for hours. Every time they would come in from filming for half the day they would pull all their equipment out and have to recharge multiple cameras, Load all the footage onto hard drives and get ready for that night while everyone else got to relax. It's a lot of work!!!
I've known about you guys for a long time and I've loved everything you do. Lately you're films have been my comfort videos. The places you go like this, it reminds me of my old home. A little house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by thick woods with no neighbors. We definitely had some sasquatch out there. Sadly we had to move in to town and I very much miss the woods. Seeing all the beautiful wilderness reminds me of the home I grew up in. You guys are awesome.

I had the pleasure of drinking many pints with Bobo in Rutland Vermont in the 3rd season of Finding Bigfoot. I'm actually in the show with my wife and kids. We talked all about Bigfoot while my wife and Renea gabbed at the bar. He knew soooo much about Bigfoot and I told him how Squatchy Vermont was. It was a magical night!!

Even in northern Europe we have those creatures too. They are living in the huge forests of Sweden 🇸🇪, Norway 🇳🇴, Finland 🇫🇮, Poland 🇵🇱, Russia 🇷🇺 and so on. The bright light that flares in space for 3 or so seconds is what’s known as an Iridium Flare. Hexagonal communication satellites that pick up the sun’s reflection after dark (as the sun’s rays are still able to hit objects in orbit while things in the ground are in the dark) Space apps can alert you when these are about to show up.
I'm very into space travel, I track satellites often and am an aviation buff. Very probable that you are correct. I have never seen one with a streak like that, but I know they leave streaks. Very cool.

The madrone tree that was snapped way up the trunk was ridiculously green still to be busted off like that! They are such a dense hard type of wood they make great wintertime woodstove firewood. If you don't remember seeing it go back to about the 10:45 mark and check out how green it is under the thin red bark and how white the wood is inside. I'm always amazed by how bright white madrone is when cutting and stacking for the winter.
Excellent documentary! Seth and his crew score another enviable film. But I must ask, what on earth happened to Bobo??? I hadn’t seen him in a long time and was shocked at his gaunt appearance! I hope he is well.

I can confirm the story about the barrels of oil or fuel , my dad was working there , there story from what I remember is a tad different. I don’t remember them being thrown into the creek , they were moved up the landing and they were rolling them down as if they were playing with them , they left many footprints behind !!

Whoa! Who was your dad? Im big into the history of that area. I'm Jonathan (in this documentary) and I invite you to check out my documentary on my channel. I interviewed Jerry Crew's Nephew, and we also go to the site where the barrels were thrown. What a guy (who was working there, I cam get the name) told my friend Jaime, is that they were tossed into the creek which was right next to the construction site. They weighed about 500lbs, so that's what freaked people out.

Was I have no idea , he was a heavy equipment driver and truck driver most his life so I’m assuming he was doing one of the two ! Wish he was still hear to share his story on that . Lots of other Bigfoot story’s from my family and I , we Have spent a lot of time in the woods that’s for sure .
@@americanadventureoutdoors4213 There is something special about those old Bigfoot stories. Mostly because whatever they reported was not based on any preconceived ideas. Things like knocks, whoops, unique vocalizations, and the idea that they are nocturnal were early concepts and not very much data had been gathered. It was all new stuff that over time proved that it wasn't made up.
this really put the location into perspective for me - the absolute rugged infinite expanse of this forrest and its landscapes, wow. big love from australia. you have captured this area in a real way so different from any tv attempts i have seen. I wish to go here one day. there is no doubt in my mind these things are real considering the expanse and isolated terrain
I find "Bigfooting" full of supposed sounds, bangs, screams, 99% are others doing the same thing regardless of the location.
You guys make it fun and more realistic than the typical.

I’m a huge found footage movie junkie, and the movie Willow Creek is one of my favorites. The long, uncut scene of them sitting in their tent listening to the noises is, to me, the quintessential Bigfoot experience…being terrified by getting exactly what you asked for.
It was super cool to be in the very spot where that was filmed!
Loved this journey and the music especially at the 6 minute mark and throughout, was fabulous. I watched the credits and may have missed what music was used? Tell me what/who if you can. Thanks again for sharing these adventures!

This was very well done. You guys are talented and very detailed. I've had two sightings here in North Alabama. I'm pretty sure it was the same Bigfoot. Both times it walked straight away and didn't want any contact with me.

I long to see another Sasquatch. Call me crazy but it’s a yearning I can’t explain. I am however, simultaneously terrified at the thought of another encounter, but I just want to try and see them again before I die. Hopefully the disability I have from an injury while serving in the Army doesn’t stop my dream. Until then I live through the eyes of others.

@@kellyshaw7271 seen a male Sasquatch walk from left to right (about 200 feet distance) from the area I was hitting rocks into with an Aluminum bat.
My best friends little brother was pitching the rocks to me, about the size of a lime, and each time I hit the rocks it created a loud “ping” noise from the bat and hummed like a “Zzzzzzz” sound as the rocks flew away about 100 years into the Juniper Trees.
That was my first sighting.
All my sightings happened in Piñon Hills, California.

@@kellyshaw7271 Exactly what I thought. After it showed itself to me it kept waking towards my friends neighbors property. It was strange how it locked eyes with me for quite a few seconds yet it still knew every step it had to take to avoid tripping on rocks, deadfall, and Yucca bush thorns ! !
We told my friends dad, who was in the house, what we seen and the direction the creature heading .
He got some guns, we all got in his van, and drove to the neighbors house.
W it e could hear the neighbors’ dogs whining from fear.
We found the chicken coupe completely destroyed with blood & feathers all over. All of the chickens and the creature were gone.
The dogs were all hiding in their dog houses and wouldn’t come out.
I love how you guys whisper after, as loudly as possible, announce yourselves with knocks.

Outstanding content 👏 👌 ✨️ California resident and my cousin Rob went deer hunting in Dinkey Creek area in D-7 zone in the Sierra Nevada mountains. He disappeared and nothing was ever recovered. His story was covered ny david paulides in one of his missing 411 books.

32.40 when i was a kid i saw the same type of light moving across the sky. it's path was a big u shape where in the end it stopped and became one of the motionless stars in the sky. i live in the big island of borneo
