Cell tower worker here. 2 years ago in Keene I went to a site in April. It was a beautiful spring like day not a cloud in the sky no wind whatsoever. I pulled up to the site grab my tools and heard a very distinct tree knock. I didn't think much of it until I heard another one about roughly 50 feet further into the woods. At that point I knew something was out there. I heard three more subsequent tree knocks each further off in the distance away from me. First thing that came into my mind after the second tree knock was I do not want to see this thing whatsoever. Another initial thought was that the tree Knox where communication between 2 Sasquatches. But after thinking about it I surmised it was one Sasquatch banging on trees as he fled away. I was very very concerned. The sad part is is when I told my fellow co-workers they just laughed at me. I do truly understand why people don't share this kind of information
99% of the time it’s two different humans wood knocking to each thinking they are communicating with a Bigfoot but it’s just daft Bigfoot hunters on either end of the wood knock
@@86Smally I’ve been a deer and elk hunter for over 50 years. My family and friends have never used tree wood knocks to communicate. That might scare game away. Stealth and moving silently is key. We never use tree stands either. We use Hand signals sometimes. Usually two or 3 people move in a circular pattern while other people wait close to the vehicle. The prey gets herded to the shooters. Packing out a animal that weighs several hundred pounds is lots of work. Shooting one close to a logging road is preferable. We never shoot one that’s at the bottom of a hill with no road. But to be honest most of the deer and elk we got we were driving on logging roads spotted them got out and shot them. My stepfather used to shoot before getting out of the pickup. Several of my family and friends have seen and smelled a Sasquatch. Including myself when I was 18.
I just found STM by mistake and have been watching video after video. So awesome. Great cinematography and narration is just slow enough and clearly spoken. I’m a subscriber now! Thank you!
Excellent show. I am from Exeter New Hampshire and it was my Uncle Eugene that saw that UFO in 1965. Plus I own five acres way up North and surrounded by a 6,000 acre wildlife refuge, my dad and uncle been hunting up there since the seventies and we've all heard Knocks and whoops.
That is so awesome. I just came across this and about to watch! I’m from concord Penacook area and love this whole genre. Any other details or stories to share?!
@Utah XK it says 80% of the state is forest so yeah a lot of country up there makes sense. And Texas lol I’ve been to Texas and most of the state is just dirt lol
Do you think that sasquatch are an old animal that have managed to stay off the radar or do you think that they could be ETs,like multi dimensional beings? Just for the record,I believe in both ufos(from other planets/star systems) and sasquatch.im still undecided what sasquatch really are.im leaning towards an old animal we know nothing about. And if they are really intelligent then you can probably understand their reluctance to having anything to do with us humans!
There is an old road connecting Grafton to Wilmot, its beyond a class 6, a hot spot for weekend 4X4 enthusiasts. Used to be a settlement way out there called Fowler town, all that's left is cellar holes and graves. Was out there 3 years ago with a buddy in his jeep, about at the halfway point we shut the engine off at the mud bog. We heard the most unexplainable sound I have ever heard. Grew up here running around since I was a kid in the woods, have never heard this sound before or since. After shutting off the jeep, we were shooting the breeze, nice early fall afternoon, not a sound but birds. From across the mud bog came a HUGE roar like I've never heard. It had a paradoxical deep low end with a kind of high pitched scream at the end, maybe 6 or 7 seconds. I was floored, very excited and interested. My friend didnt share the feeling, started up the rig and hauled ass off the hill. All he would say about it was that it was a bear. We both knew it wasnt a bear but clearly he was not comfortable talking about it. I have to say, that the timing, right after we stopped to enjoy the area, was of import. I could intuit the tone and intent of the "sound" from just across the bog. Leave. It was an interesting experience. Go on out beyond the old North church in Wilmot on Piper pond rd, perhaps you'll hear it as well.
There is a very compelling scream/roar captured by a man at dusk out hunting. I think it was on Steve Isdhal's channel "how to hunt". He is a big game guide up in BC, if you got to his channel and search his videos, there are quite a lot, you will find it. If that's what you heard then no thanks, it is immense!
The woods call to me, I must go hiking everyday, somewhere new occasionally, and always the rock walls in the middle of what is nowhere now but someone's land 200 years ago. I explore looking for cellar holes and other signs of human existence. Usually none I find but the rock walls. I always say in the hiking videos I make for my channel, it's not a NH hike without seeing a rock wall in the middle of nowhere!
@@johnoullette4908 No metal detector but I'm constantly wanting to go off trail to explore. Watching Not Thursday is definitely gonna drive me to get one sooner than later. Not long back he found a penny from 1797 that you could easily read the year on. That would be incredible and I'm in the right place for that!!
3:49 my brother was a cop in Hollis, He found the police report. The police chief said "It was a black bear" and "They did look truly petrified". The Hollis flea Market owner said he gets asked at least 20 times a season about "The Hollis Flea Monster". Yes they really call it that. The man's name was Gerald St. Louis from Lowell MA and I think it was May 7 1977. I read that he left his trailer there and never went back even during the day which should be perfectly safe.
I visit Maine every year and it's gorgeous there! Super thick woods, a lot of water, lots of wildlife and a ton of edible berries and plants. Perfect habitat for anyone or anything to survive.
My friends and I saw a mountain lion in the early sixties. It ran past us not 25 feet away. The adults laughed at us until they saw the prints. Then they got worried. I can only imagine what they would have said if we told them we saw a sasquatch!
I live in NH, and spent a lot of time in the woods here. Friends and I have had many encounters with strange things, but ultimately decided not to report it to protect everything from people tearing the place up looking for something. Now, so many companies have come in and stripped away much of our forest for housing developments, we're more open to talking. There are very few encounters these days. It's kind of sad.
Very interesting Tim! I’d be curious to hear about some of these stories if you’d care to share. My email is “sasquatchoutoftheshadows@gmail.com” -Aleks
I live in Manitoba Canada,2012 while grouse hunting I walked right into a sasquatch. Must have been older, smoke coulored, Grey, brown, and black. Huge!! When it ran it shook the ground! I ran back to my truck shaking at realizing what I saw. There real! I don't believe we have to be scared of them. But there definitely real!
Heard one last year yelling for it's mate or cause it was pissed ... Sounded like a lion mixed with dinosaur. There was no other creature that could make the sounds I heard other than Sasquatch.
The Betty and Barney Hill is very well documented. I have been to the place the abduction occurred. There is a store near there with a fair amount of newspaper articles about the UFO phenomon.
I saw a Bigfoot in east Texas as a little boy. It walked to the window and it looked at me in the face to face. The only thing separating me from the Bigfoot was the screen.
So interesting, I religiously listen to Dixie cripted. There are so many different stories of big foot looking into house windows at children's crazy. Happy your safe really
Personally, I'd love for STM to talk with Justin Chernipeski, because I have enjoyed his documentaries. And, he really is personable and affable in his videos. Very likeable.

@Craig David Lot of people live without a job daily. Not everyone has to go somewhere and work morning until night. Like my family, we have built inherited wealth.
Living in Upstate NY, I've had many experiences in and around the Adirondacks. We now live in SWFL, and I've had 3 experiences here. Charlotte County is a Sasquatch Hot Spot.
NH native here. People see these things in the woods but they don't talk about it outside of circles of friends and family. Privacy and a "mind your own business" attitude is a part of our culture here which doesn't lend itself well to the sharing of sightings. The only person I've seen publicly claim a sighting was the owner of a corner store at the intersection of 127 and Rt. 4 in Salisbury. They had a clump of hair hanging up on their wall that they claimed came from an ape-like creature seen in a local farmer's field. It allegedly fled by vaulting the cattle fencing were it's hair snagged on one of the barbs. My instinct tells me it's absolutely a hoax but it's food for thought.
I've actually heard of that story from Crystal I believe! Supposedly they had the hair sample hanging in the store itself. Is it still there? Would still like to get out there and check it out. -Aleks
I used to vacation in the White Mountains all the time when I was younger. Amazing hiking, wildlife, and beauty. My cousin got married there recently. Watching this brings me back to years of exploring this area. Absolutely beautiful. Seen a lot of bears there, especially where we stayed in Jackson. Always digging through the rubbish bins. Always felt like there was something more out there. For anyone visiting the area, check out Mt. Willard. Easy hike with stunning views!
I'm up near Groveton NH. I was walking railroad tracks saw one that I spooked. Last week. Thing had super heavy footsteps. Knocked over a few trees and insanely fast. All the birds scattered. Deer ran out of the woods. Animals fleeing the area. Kind of nerve wracking.
I haven't had an experience here in NH but I did have one when I was younger just over the border in Eliot ME. Was wandering the woods behind my grandparents place with a friend when I was around 10 years old. We kept hearing all sorts of weird noises and then came across footprints in the snow leading deeper into the woods. I remember it perfectly because whatever made them wasn't wearing shoes and 4 of my footprints, toe to heel, were the same size as one of these prints. We tried telling my family about it and they just laughed it off. That is the typical reaction you get with people in these parts if you tell them about such things. They either laugh about it or tell you to keep it to yourself. I wish more people would talk about such sightings and encounters just to normalize it instead of treating it as a joke.
@@jeremymacritchie8566 Cedar Road. Most of the woods behind their old house have been cleared over the years sadly. When I ran into the prints it was all forest. The Christian Life Church wasn't even there yet.
I found footprints in an extremely remote area in Northern NH in 2014/15 during a late April snow. They went up a steep hill in about 3ft deep snow with a stride about 3-3.5ft in between and about 15-16 inch print. There was even a spot it had to put its arm down in the snow to catch itself. When I started following them up I had the hair on my neck stand up, I started hearing footfalls in the snow and little pops and sounds from about 75 feet away from me down the hill. I went back down and sat quietly for about 5 mins and all was quiet so I left. The person I was with also heard and felt the same things. I definitely think they are in NH.
Fantastic. You say you are crazy, but no. With all the reports from respectable people, you are the only ones with courage enough to put yourselves through this and try to find the truth. The guy in this interview seems very genuine to me. He seems to have his witts about him and kind of be a no nonsense guy that is just telling you what he saw straight up. Not over exaggerating or like he wants to sell you bs. Just off face value as a person I believe him and the whole thing with the pear tree for them to all be plucked perfectly at the top as well seems extremely strange. This seems like one of the more legit witnesses I’ve seen a video of. Maybe I’m wrong but instinctually I believe him.
I've often wondered if there could be a correlation between Bigfoot and some of the old stories about ogres, trolls, and giants from cultures around the world.

I am from the lakes region of NH and have had several encounters. I haven't seen one yet but have heard, smelled, and interacted with them. Had a stick thrown at me and had a call and response with both wood knocks and whistles. They are here and live closer than we think.
I was followed by something big in the woods for about an 1/8th of a mile in Grafton county in Rumney, up to the point of the western cemetery on Quincy rd. Sounded big yet couldnt make out what was following me.
You was lucky you could of ended up being dinner.im not even joking, just look how many go missing without a trace. It was probably just escorting you away on that day hence why I say you was lucky
I was backpacking the Grafton Loop up there in 2018 or 2019 and had a strange encounter without seeing anything. I was coming down a ridge and there was lots of shrubs and bushes and trees lining the trail ahead of me. As I descended a hill, I heard what I assume was a moose on the left ahead of me and the thick brush moved. At the same time, the brush on the right moved too. Being October, I figured some moose were about to do the wild thing, but it spooked me enough to backtrack a half mile and get off trail 50 yards. I sat there in silence for a while to see if anything would walk down the trail toward me. Nothing did. After a while I continued walking in the same direction and made lots of noise as I passed that same area. I saw nothing. Later that night, camped about 2 miles from there, around midnight I was awoken by the sound of trees crashing all around me. I didn’t move from my tent. What could I do but listen. I heard nothing but trees crashing. It seemed to be in an intimidating manner. Eventually it stopped and I went back to sleep. I woke early that morning and moved faster than ever to get out of the area.
Im down rte 118 in Grafton, over by Mt. CARDIGAN. Lived around here my whole life with no experiences, until I moved onto my uncles property after he passed. A TON of wierd stuff, the last two years since my Rottweiler best friend passed away. When he was alive he would " chase bears" off the property almost daily, at least thats what I always thought. Some of the things we have had here since he has been gone make me wonder if they were always bears. Growls and snorts oitside the bedroom window at night. Scraping along the building with some object. Hoots and " owl" noises that dont sound right and change into an " ack, ack, ack!!!" Clacking teeth noise. And EVERY path away from the house that went out back to the creek that my kids and dogs would play on have been blocked by " fallen" tree's. ONLY right at the entrance points to the path. It hit me like a bolt of lightning a few months back. Some of the tree's are green pines, young tree's pushed over in a clump blocking the path.
@@saltpeter7429 that is some crazy stuff for sure many miles of woods up here who knows man I sure know what I heard too I won’t even go up there because of it it was insane I believe your words too.
@@subforceusa694 yeah man, jist tryin to get my head around it. Im a 3rd shift janitor at the collegr, I clean all night and listen to sasquatch chronicles on my portable speaker. It was about a month ago after listening that I realized all the wierd stuff going on might be related. My wife said when I got home in the a.m. back in February or march, " there was a bear snorting and growling outside the window at 2 am" . hhhmm. Bears in winter? Outside the window? Then a month later, " a moose or deer was outside the window, snorting and scraping its antler alongside the siding". Again, thought it was odd. We both went outside looking for tracks in the spring snow.. Nothing. After listening to other peoples experiences concerning the squatch I have to wonder. Fun factoid about those stone walls. They are older than you think. The Algonquin and Iroquois Indians have legends about them. They are older than white man's presence in North America.
Lol I believe they are younger then YOU believe.. Not all of them but a good amount. Ive seen my fair share as I metal detect on old properties after getting clearance and permission to dig. These stone walls are everywhere in sharpsburg, MD (antietam), Gettysburg, PA, ALOT of the older stone walls you're referring to were completely demolished in new Jersey. I found a 1659 Gaelic merchants token in a new jersey field buried underneath what remained of a stone wall.
Also you should specify which "white man" you're referring to.. That's an extremely vague statement that is anything but specific. Italian? Irish? German/hessian?, British? I think its cute when people use the term white man as a describer to a subject, assuming everyone who reads it would understand whom exactly you were referring to..that's like me referencing something from Asia and making a statement about Asians...Which Asians. Same for every other race of people. Like I said, I found a coin from 1659 in new jersey that was Gaelic..something as mundane as skin Color shouldn't be used to accurately describe an entire race of people.
@John those stone walls were also placed in position in order to prevent fires from reaching farm land and their crops. Its been used by everyone from the Egyptians to the romans and here
Excellent video gents! Appreciate your efforts and your HONESTY! You had a good plan and were well and truly prepared with the right equipment to search & record. It's unfortunate that there are SOOOO many videos out there that are clearly hoaxes. For you two blokes to be "man" enough to accept that you didn't locate anything during your trip & to report same back to the viewers without any exaggeration or embellishment reflects your own high level of personal integrity. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I was in the Bradford area in a cabin deep in the mountains a few years ago and my wife and I heard a massive tree being ripped down, feet from us, as we got out of our car. It was a windless night, and it was very dark, no moon. we ran inside. I know what woods sound like and we still have no idea what could have done this.
- Sasquatch commonly pushes trees over and sometimes breaks off really good sized trees as it runs. It also rips them from the ground. Two and three foot diameter trees are sometimes put back in the ground upside down after being torn from the ground. Those trees that are pulled from the ground are usually smaller than those I just mentioned but I've seen pictures of those bigger ones. Upside down, roots in the air.
Very awesome. Aleksandar did an awesome job in his NH Squatching Adventure. I wish had had found more direct evidence, but that's how it is with this subject. It takes time & patience.
It only Takes 1 Day or night To have a SIGHTING..1 of my sightings Was @ Night On our last nite in Texas. My 2nd Sighting Was Here in Ma During the Day. It just happens. So not Quite sure what Else you could have meant.
Probably because Alex brings a thorough approach to research and investigating so he saves time others would waste. Seems to me he is intelligently focused, and knows where to dial-in.

@Craig David Projection much? Only one of us has a sore asshole here and I'm guessing it's the one attempting lame username cracks and screeching about copyright and nuking podcasters. Okay galaxy brain, so show me where David Paulides copyrighted articles outside of the context of his own videos or books? And that also doesn't explain your issues with STM, The Confessionals or Sasquatch Chronicles, the latter two of whom are certainly better men than you'll ever be, or your apparently handsy father, for that matter.
I live in Coos County, spend a lot of time in the woods, find the Sasquatch phenomenon fascinating as it is global and cross cultural, do I believe there is a large undiscovered primate out there, not so much, if they are in NH, where are the tracks in the snow? They would have to travel to find enough calories to survive, game is not very dense up here. I have seen plenty of “structures” and tree brakes. Not convinced, more likely a product of winter storms
I lived in Coos county(northern NH) for many years. I love it and if I hadn't become disabled and needed to move to the southern part to be near family, I would have stayed there forever. I farmed ,but I hiked and backpacked from the time I was a teenager. I've seen many animals but I've never seen a Sasquatch. They couldn't be aggressive if they're there because then they would have been talked about. Maybe in my next life I'll see one, lol ! Thank you for this video and stay safe!
Coos County is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in Colebrook, about 30 years ago, and spent several days fishing the Mohawk River and Connecticut River. During this trip, my father, my brother, and myself simply slayed the trout. We thought that we had found a sportsman's paradise ... until the following year, when we returned, and caught very little. It was then that we realized that we had unwittingly caught one of the state's holiday stocking sprees. Still, that takes nothing away from the overall and awe-inspiring beauty of the place.
I live in Vermont...love and live for the beauty of nature. But always respect it and the crazy things you see and find. Stay safe everyone and always be legendary.

I love those beautiful beings. They are truly amazing! Truly! They are the protectors of the forest. Love all your work Eli and Alex!! Have an amazing week you beautiful people!
I honestly don’t think you guys read these. You get a lot of comments. A really good thing to do, is to set up all your equipment facing out. Build a fire sit at said fire. Talk normal be normal and they will approach you. It’s when you move with your equipment that they know what your doing. They are communicating between each other. And will do everything to not be photographed or anything else. 95% of all interactions with them are not because people are hunting them. They are just going about their business and have an encounter. There’s a reason for that. They are highly intelligent they have a social structure and communicate between themselves. Give them more credit. They are not mindless beasts. I know some people think I’m talking through my a&@ but I’m not and I don’t care what others think. I just want them protected.

No thanks!😆..we're all good
I usually jump/fart when a chipmunk scurries around..could not even fathom hearing and feeling that encounter with King of the woods!
Q
There is a very compelling scream/roar captured by a man at dusk out hunting. I think it was on Steve Isdhal's channel "how to hunt". He is a big game guide up in BC, if you got to his channel and search his videos, there are quite a lot, you will find it. If that's what you heard then no thanks, it is immense!
Goosebumps
I DEEPLY love those forests, the old stone walls, the history emanating
The woods call to me, I must go hiking everyday, somewhere new occasionally, and always the rock walls in the middle of what is nowhere now but someone's land 200 years ago. I explore looking for cellar holes and other signs of human existence. Usually none I find but the rock walls. I always say in the hiking videos I make for my channel, it's not a NH hike without seeing a rock wall in the middle of nowhere!

I live in Manitoba Canada,2012 while grouse hunting I walked right into a sasquatch. Must have been older, smoke coulored, Grey, brown, and black. Huge!! When it ran it shook the ground!
-Aleks

Hey there, I live in Kittery very close to the Eliot line. Where was your experience? Was it near Frost Hill?

Fun factoid about those stone walls. They are older than you think. The Algonquin and Iroquois Indians have legends about them. They are older than white man's presence in North America.
They are older than those tribes too.
Some are, most are just farm barriers, rocks were pulled out of cleared forests to make fields, and piled on the edges to create boundaries.

I’ve been driving through the lakes region for work between 12-3am every night. Also been on the look out. Lastnight was my most active night! Saw a coyote, beaver, deer and fox all within an hour lol
I'd love to see Small Town Monsters do something with The Sasquatch Chronicles, The Confessionals and David Paulides.
Small town monsters has done episodes on Sasquatch Chronicles.
@@TheMattc999 I didn't know.
I can't find the episodes, do you know the episode numbers?
@Craig David Salty.
Explain yourself?
@Craig David I have no idea who you are and I don't know David Paulides.
You don't believe people should copyright their own work?
Get help, schizo.
@Craig David Projection much?
Not sure if you caught the (large eye shine) just after 31:26 , you pan very fast but its there ! Awesome videos !
Your questions are level 1, skeptic fodder. If you are interested, keep studying. You will find your answer to that question.
15:35 I have heard of them eating clams and crayfish.
Love your stuff small town monsters. You guys need to do a special on the siege of honobia
My grandfather was one of the cops involved in the incident at exeter. Crazy stories I would hear.
Looking forward to this!
Addicted to your channel here in the UK. Brilliant!
I particularly enjoyed the nice shot of the long jobby (scat) on the ground
I wish you guys could find a way to have these videos on a spot light hour. They are really good! And it’s hard to sift through them on the channel itself. I’m not really into the other S.T.M stuff like “moth man or aliens”. I just enjoy the Sasquatch videos. They almost transport me to the forest. And well Sasquatch is just a bonus.
Hey there Wood-In-My-Eye, believe it or not we do read the comments and try to respond when possible! So if you go to the playlists section of our channel, there are full playlists divided up by series and subjects! So for example there is a whole playlist that just features all of the Bigfoot Beyond the Trail series. Here is that playlist! th-cam.com/play/PLXeLjfrE1fz7ft2vId_FdcEQqs3R0a9F8.html
The loggers at Stark Interment Camp saw them and the old folk up north called them wood devils and gray devils. They match the trees in each locale - grey Northeast, red Northwest, orange Asia, white or fawn in winter climates, darker in south.
That is a very interesting story about the loggers Ashley! I heard a similar stories years ago and have been trying to track down more about the Stark Internment Camp and the Wood Devils as well. Do you have any other info about that? If you'd like to respond via email that would be great too, our email is "smalltownmonsters@gmail.com". Thanks.

It was interesting to see nNew Hampshire today. Your lucky that progress has retreated from your land according to the lumber cutting in the past. It was interesting. Thank you.

Very nice video / story.
What happened when he saw the creature in the river 150ft away? Did he just keep driving? What happened?
Fantastic Job folks !!!!
This is a pretty well done investigative piece
Last year me and a friend heard a knock in Marlborough. The location was roughly halfway between the locations (in the same town) of a bfro report and a personal account of a sighting from a former coworker. Also, not sure if this is significant but my friend was pregnant at the time.
Hey, I'm a friend of Aleksandar Petakov's, and I've been investigating sightings in Marlborough. You are certainly not alone, in fact, that includes me. You can email me at crash.course.cryptozoology@gmail.com if you want to discuss your report, I'm actually doing a documentary on the case as well.
Very intriguing! As Karac said he’s working on a documentary about Marlborough, I’ve been involved with that as well as cataloging sightings across NH. Would be very curious to hear about what happened and the sighting from your coworker! -Aleks
@@AleksPetakov Yea! He lives in Sacramento now but if you want I can tell you what he told me
@@duckydarrick7460 That would be awesome! Feel free to email me at “sasquatchoutoftheshadows@gmail.com”

Thx 4 the efforts!
i'm from north central maine,, new england is unique and beautiful,
After years and years of watching many, many documentaries regarding Bigfoot, with little or no evidence, I watch these for the visual value…The tourism, nature and beauty of the land! I am a believer, but, damn, sometime it is hard to stay faithful! Nice scenery, tho!
