Im from grand Rapids mn but I miss hearing the train the sounds the smells the beauty of Minneapolis gives me goosebumps and makes me very proud of where I live. The train sounds remind me of going to us bank stadium to Vikings games gives me a extra boost of something to be excited about being in Minneapolis

I once asked someone about that and they told me that when the light rail opened there was confusion for drivers and they actually drove on the track mistaking it for the street and collisions occurred.

How do they enforce tickets? It seems like anyone can just hop on the metro without paying. I've never taken one of these things before so I wouldn't know.

They don’t enforce it. If you want it to be free, then it’s free.

In Sacramento CA the system here homeless people will just get on without paying. It has improved now as many of the cars have ticket enforcers now.

The transit police do occasional fare checks, but, like others have said, you can get by without paying. A round trip ticket costs like $4.50 though, so why not support a good cause🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm watching this clip, its a dandy, but, I keep hearing, if you see thugs, or someone just made off with your wallet, call the authorities, hell where i'm at now, by the time the sheriff shows up, all there is left are died thugs and a lot of wallets, empty of course.
