First and foremost, this games entire OST is done by a band called Grindstone. According to a Wikipedia page they were paid $4000 for the soundtrack and I’m very grateful they decided not to put down any copyright claims as we’ve seen with some other composers. The OST is part of this game and I’m glad I don’t have to mute it. The game features just a few tracks that are repeated numerously through 6 different seasons. Fortunately it doesn’t play as repetitive as it sounds, as you get to upgrade and experience better cars throughout the journey. The better you rank, the more money you get to upgrade your car with, so it’s necessary to try and rank as high as possible for each race. The stages feature some shortcuts and different weather conditions each encounter. Thankfully there’s a fun little exclusive stage at the end of everything which gives you something to look forward to. Overall not a bad game
😮Love god and love all people. 😊Believe in the gospel Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ shed his blood and died for the sins of the world and he was buried and rose again from the dead three days later. For Jesus Christ God almighty and the flesh and if you believe in the gospel you are spiritually reborn into the family of God.
Budget is one thing to keep in mind. They were looking for a band that sounded similar to Alice in Chains and they ended up paying $4000 for this OST, which you nowadays probably wouldn’t be able to do
@@longplayarchive i didn't mean to disrespect the band though. The music is good but it just feels not like a top gear game without the electronic music.

I have played this game when I was a childhood, this graphics are so amazing for N64 in the decade, this racing game is smacking it down.
I still have this game, beaten it, and the graphics are pretty good for an N64 game in 1998. But reaching the end is a pain in the neck.

Grindstone 🎸
Some of the best technology on the N64, great graphics and sound
Really cool game and good music. Congrats for 1st place at first course.
Space Truckin - That's cool didn't know that existed
Recordar Es Volver A Vivir Que Chida Infancia 🏆💯😉Los Juegos Que Si Valían La Pena Sin Conexión y Ni Cosas De Paga
This game has a hi rez mode if you use the expansion pack and change the mode in the menu. great graphics for the time
There's no way there was full motion video on an N64 cartridge. I mean unless it was greatly compressed like Resident Evil 2 was.
👍👍👍

Top Gear 1 and 2 are the best. This game turned Top Gear series into shite. Just hear that crappy rock soundtrack.

@@longplayarchive they should've sticked with the electronic music like top gear 1 and 2. That's what makes the series iconic.
@@Takuma_Sakazaki ah I appreciate you elaborating

@@Takuma_SakazakiYou don't mean to disrespect the band, but at the same time called their music crappy. Lol
