That musical made me ugly cry from happiness that Tina finally got to be happy after all the bull she went through ❤
I’m going tomorrow in Toronto. I think I will do the same. I just love her❤. Saw her twice. Live. Honestly, the most electrifying performances I’ve ever seen. 🥰
ME TOOO!
I caught this musical 2 times in London still enjoyed it. More memorable the second time was on 27 may 23, the first show after her passing. The cast & audience were so sad & tears were flowing. The cast return for encore and paid tribute to this legendary singer. We will not forget her.
That had to be magical! Being from Memphis, not far from Nutbush where Tina's humble beginnings started. I was fortunate enough to travel as the nurse for Mabon Teenie Hodges(google him...Take me to the River, Love and Happiness and many more).
Teenie was Al Green's guitarist and co-wrote songs with Al and he and his brothers(Hi Rhythm, houseband for many, many famous musicians at Royal Studios in Memphis). All of those wonderful Al Green songs have Teenie and his brothers playing on them. Long story short, sadly Teenie died from complications of COPD in 2014.
I heard many stories about Ike and Tina from Teenie. He knew them both very well and the stories he told broke my heart, but Tina came out on top. One time I was at Teenie's house in Memphis and we were going through some memobilia and Teenie pulled out the purple jumpsuit gifted from Ike. Not sure if Teenie ever wore it as he was a small man in statue..83 pounds at his best. Anyway, wanted to share my story.
We have lost some of the best musicians in the world...many of them with a Memphis history and Tina Turner was simply the best. Rest in Melody, Tina. Give my Teenie a big kiss for me, What a world, What a World!
watched this show at London. It was awedome how everyone got hyped and started enjoying it as a concert
I saw it too in London 3 weeks ago ❤
Me too, London last night. So so good!
I was lucky enough to be at this exact performance, and the energy in the audience was something I will never forget.
I'm so jealous. The STL crowd I was with were DUDS!! Ithink my 6 girlfriends and i were the only ones on our feet jammin along.
I saw this on tour in Austin TX... I was blown away. What an incredible performance. Truly one I'll never forget.
surprised my aunty with tickets last month in London. I loved her music, but I had no idea about her life. What an amazing bio story. The last 15 minutes I had goosebumps
I saw the musical when the tour came to Seattle. I thought the musical was fine. When it comes to a musical based on someone's life, the way they try to squeeze in the songs is awkward sometimes. I only sometimes want to listen to the whole musical soundtrack. But Tina Turner's songs were also on my playlist a lot that week. The recreation of her concerts on stage was absolutely spectacular!
All in all, this musical reminded me of why Tina Turner is the Queen of Rock and Roll. She had a hard life, but her strength and perseverance inspired me. Ultimately, she found success and true love with Erwin Bach, and I was so glad she did.
Rest in peace, Tina Turner. You ARE simply the best!
I just saw it today 7/8/23 in California at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Fabulous! I wanted more.
Omg same 😮
After seeing her front row final concert. Nothing like it! RIP Queen. Best gift.
Saw the musical in Seattle and this was BY FAR the best musical I've ever seen!!!
I was at this show. It was phenomenal
Agreed! A stunning performance!
Gives me so much pleasure seeing this video and sadness for her passing away at the same time. Tina will continue to rule!!!! Queen of rock and roll
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
RIP TINA!! 😭😭

@@missykitty I enjoyed the show and it wad incredible. I want to become an theater actor.
Saw the touring act in Cleveland. The show is so amazing it is way beyond words...loved it, loved everything. Have always loved Tina!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Didn't know it came to Cleveland??
I’ve seen this show twice now in London. I love it! I always get pumped when I hear certain songs start, this is one of them.
Saw the show on tour in Indianapolis, Indian. The energy in the performance was over whelming.
Rest In Power Tina!!!
I saw this in Adelaide, Australia it brought me tears and joy! The last 20 mins was bloody fantastic 😊
Saw this when the tour came to DC. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Superb performances by all.
I'm so glad to hear you saw it in DC and loved it!! Such a great show!!
Hello from Singapore. Watched this musical at Aldiwich in London last year in February. The performance were very good and awesome. The Singers and dances were so good especially the performer who played the role as Tina Turner. Powerful voice.
I watched at Aldywich Theatre London last night, the show was phenomenal ❤️
Please bring this show to Singapore ❤️
That was a good performance I saw Tina Turner show in May with my family we all enjoyed the show, it was excellent. I want to become a theater actor.
I'm glad you were able to see the show and also enjoyed it!
@@missykitty I did. This is why I want to become a theater actor and put on successful broadway shows because after I saw Tina Turner show it made how I love acting because I was in acting class in high school called Opening Act. I perform at Manhattan and at my high school in 2019 and my family came to support me. That’s my dream job to become an actor.
Am glad I was there among the spectators! She's simply the best!
Absolutely amazing show 😊x
I was set to go see this show in April of 2020 and of course the pandemic stopped everything. I knew I was going to LOVE this show and never got to go see it and boy am I pissed! I’ve watched videos of this show and singing by both the present actress and the previous Adrien Warren, but man I can’t help get goosebumps watching. This was so right up my alley and it’s over. They all gave an AMAZING show!!!!!
Just came from the show in Nashville TPAC 2-15-2024 .. breathtaking
Saw this musical recently and it was absolutely incredible!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Finally saw it tonight. Moving, engaging, funny, fun, entertaining: it was spectacular.
Melissa, we were at this show too!! I love your vantage point! I had no idea of all the glitz and glam that was above the stage! Nkeki was an absolute superstar!! We saw her in March and I knew instantly we were going back to see her again!! I wish we had more opportunities but luckily we were able to snag great seats for the final performance, and WOW. Showstopping. What an absolute force she was!! I wish you had video of River Deep Mountain High when she got her first standing ovation!👏🙌👏🙌👏
Small world!! And yes, I loved this view too! The first time I saw the show I was front of mezz, so it was a nice change to be a little further back and see it all! Nkeki truly was incredible, I'm so glad I saw her twice! (I first saw her in March too - March 16!) Thanks for watching~! :)
I too was at this performance, what a night!
The finale was excellent I’m so glad you were brave to film i love to be able to rewatch
Saw the show yesterday. Permission was giving to film the last two songs
Absolutely LOVED working with this show during more precarious times. Great capture :)
Glad you had such a great experience working during those darker times. Thanks for watching :)
The Best !!!!
I'm sooo excited that the musical is coming to my hometown next April in Adelaide, Australia. Bought tickets the day they went on sale
So excited for you! I hope you enjoy!!
Byliśmy na musicalu w Londynie 😍 po prostu fenomenalnie ❤ niezapomniane wrażenia 😍
That part was amazing I actually cried ❤
Thank you so much for this!!
You're welcome! Happy to share! :)
I was so glad to see this for my birthday in May. Imma miss this so much….!!
Maravilhoso!!!❤
I went last night 🎉🎉🎉 absolutely amazing 🤩
This has inspired me to pic up my sax 🎷 again
Man alive the high energy dancing is nuts.
..... wow!... terrific vibe feeding emotional energy... great minimalistic idea for segway into a grand finale' scene change with sensitive direction to what matters ... & it works because of all those intertwined human factors... particularly exhilarating because the audience wants to be intimately involved.. (Y) .......... 😉
Dutch people are just quite good at creating shows! Very great musical!
neil sedaka should have a broadway and West end musical done about his life too. the fact that he hasnt is just plain wrong . From Michael from Yorkshire and proud of it .
Woaaah !! Incredible!!
GIVE THE DRUMMER SOME!!!! 🥁
If anyone out there knows if the show is coming to Leeds , I would love to see it 😊
Who played Tina in this performance?
I wrote who played Tina Turner in the description of the video.
That’s Naomi Rodgers singing! She’s good but have watched yesterday’s Tina at Hollywood Pantages Zurin Villanueva and I can say that she’s so much better like she never got tired same energy from start to finish like she got possessed by the great diva tina Turner! Her voice is super amazing like exact in the same as Tina Turner! But definitely whoever plays, the entire show is spectacular indeed ❤❤
@@cmpl24o, that’s not Naomi Rogers. I saw her play Tina last Saturday at The Pantages. She’s phenomenal and speaks, sings, and dances just like Tina onstage.
They are together for real or it’s fake but nice performance
This is a Broadway show and they are all actors/performers.
Ok the way that Tina and Erwin are kissing for real in the scene
Why they said it’s the last performance
@@sakuthepug8545 Because this was the final show Tina played on Broadway. The show is now closed and going on tour starting in September.
@@missykitty ok i see
