She never threatened V, because she knew V was dying from the relic. She only said that after V was killed by it (if they are) she’ll claim the bounty they have on them.
I chose to save Songbird and send to her space but damn killing Reed for me was like killing a friend who was loyal to a fault to his “master” despite them getting him “killed” and he was dogmatic about his *principals* to the very end. I gotta say it did get him killed and he was used as a knight and a pawn. But if you look from his point of view he was truly dead after what happened after So Mi led him to the trap years ago and I think he knew in a way you’d kill him thus freeing him of his burdens. Otherwise he kills you and continues the cycle waiting for someone else to best him. That’s the way it is in my V story. I liked his character, he was the relatable Yang to V’s Yin. Not everyone gets to be a hero and he was willing to die for his cause just like V. Even if he’s on the wrong side I respect his character. And Songbird did the same thing V is trying to do, survive, I can’t blame her for playing a masterful game. V’s real ending for me is don’t fear the reaper. He becomes legend and closes off many stories including his own after sacrificing the “cure” for Song So Mi. If V had taken the cure all he did was for nothing and a boring end for him. His character clearly wanted to go out in blaze of glory especially for his fallen friend Jackie. Such good writing, just like life the happy ending isn’t always the fairytale ending. Would I have enjoyed a fairytale ending option. Sure, but they could still use everything for a sequel, who knows what’s next if so. If you read all this kudos choom, I applaud the story I’m only just now finishing it after all these years.
Honestly, I would like nothing more than that to be the canon, and to play a new character in the next game. Someone who had a passing relationship with V. One such character is Max Jones. A media you help in one of Regina's gigs.
Thank you for including all of drinking to: “To ___” character options you are an actual saint 🙏 Not only that but you did ALL other options with Alex’s dialogue… You also missed one additional “drink to” option and that is Scorpion from the aldecados, but for some reason you didn’t get the option.
I killed Reed on my first Phantom playthrough, did not wait long enough for Alex to call, did not realize she would. Man, there are so many surprises to this game, when you think you seen it all, something else pops up.
From the get-go, I liked Alex better than Reed. Reed struck me as someone who might talk a big deal about trust, having your back, camaraderie etc...but will ALWAYS choose his greater loyalties if he to pick between the two. I felt if Myers was to straight up and go say they will vivisect So Mi once they capture her, Reed would have STILL found a way to rationalise that as helping So Mi. Everything in the DLC proved me right, and I am glad Alex survived and got a happy ending.
"Time to find some new friends. Grow to like. Then murder." Cold, John boy. I didn't befriend or like Reed to begin with. I worked with him because I didn't have much choice if I wanted So Mi to keep her promise.
I laughed hard when Johnny said that ngl. Kinda liked Reed (as a character, he was great, but personally? Nah, he a lapdog for the wrong one) but there was no question that So Mi and Alex alive was the choice for me.
1) Alex dropped Hansen in hand-to-hand, just sliced like sushi. Guy was not Smasher-level maybe, but one of the game bosses for sure. 2) Hardly a threat. More like a fair warning that FIA will not let it go. Personally she will not do a thing to kill you for real.
Songbird doesn't care about you or anyone else. She cares only about saving her own skin. If you ever thought that would be in the cards then well you got honey trapped. The oldest trick in the spy handbook.
When I decided to side with So Mi, I didn't really care about what happens to Reed. Alex was the one who kept me worried. Sad that there weren't more interactions with her, or a romance even.
Alex is the real one, she never lied to you and her intention was clear, to get out of FIA, she's the only person that you can truly trust in the DLC, my biggest regret in choosing saving Song is betraying Alex, but at least she got what she wanted and there's no bad feeling between the two
In a run where I don't care about Erebus/Kanto CD, I'll always side with Song, but for Alex. She deserves her happy ending the most. So Mi's living on borrowed time, Myers doesn't deserve a power weapon like that, and Reed is still that walking ghost, just living for the memory of what he used to be, who he used to follow. Alex kept dreaming during her time in DTown, waiting for her moment of freedom, she has the most to gain and lose.
She's the only reason I sided with Songbird, even though Songbird lied to my face the ENTIRE dlc. Don't want her to die and miss out on that retirement plan.
I'll always spoilers because I can't spoilers spoilers. I just feel like this is not spoilers. Now spoilers is in my head all the time like ... whatever
Not a threat more of a friendly warning when you're time comes I'll be there ..which Alex DOESNT judge you at all for doing what you had too....shit even reed is still alive saying close to the same shit...even after you shoot his ass or at least it did for me.
LOL was I the only one who thought, after getting this call, that Alex was gonna kill me? I didn't trust her until after this conversation. Even the scene where you share a beer with her...felt a little weird for her to be letting down her hair so quick with someone she only just met. I mean, high stress situations and all that, sure, but still - I figured Alex would try to complete the mission, so to speak.
The fact that NUS wants V dead, says that SPOILER: they intentionally fried V's nerves in the end, it wasn't damage caused by Neural matrix. it was a lie, johnny gone, and V broken, NUS's fault.
That's not what happens, they only want V dead if you side with Songbird. If you side with Reed there's no reason for them not to do everything they can to help V, especially since it wouldn't surprise me if Myers wanted V on her payroll afterwards.
I can't believe the utter disrespect Alex can give in this convo. At this point, V has cut down tonnes of the FIA's best Black Ops. She had him at gunpoint and he turned the tables on her in an instant. As far as she's concerned, V defeated Reed too. What makes her think she'll ever be in a position to put a black sack over his head? It's ridiculous that the FIA and Myers don't treat V as Morgan Blackhand the Second once the DLC is over.
I do like that Reed and Alex respond pretty dismissively to V's comments in the beginning. The, "you're no Morgan Blackhand" kind of stuff, but here at the end... it just doesn't make any sense. Even after you wipe a veritable platoon of NUSA spec ops he still never treats you like a greater force than him, or even a threat. And similarly, here, Alex does the same thing. They should have had V respond with something like, "yeah, that's what Reed thought too". Just to show the growth, if not even just for your character but in how they're seen.
It's not a threat lol. Quite the opposite, actually. She got an order to kill you, and instead of doing it, she tells you about it face to face, and then says that she has no intention to actually carry it out. Honestly, my favourite character in PL. Very simple, yet very likeable
I wanted to like Reed until he started talking about Cynosure. He knew what was going on all along. My V was all about NOT zeroing all of humanity in the name of God and country. Gotta go back now and see those A& S emails mentioned in the commenfs here.
What I am about to write is a happy rant and by no means a mark on this game, I fuckin love it: I find it funny how the game consistently has npc's and other main characters state V as "not important.' When infact, V is effectively the doomslayer of cyberpunk and you can literally 1 v 50 max tac goons in under a few seconds. That's not even the limit of your abilities. You fight Adam Smasher, even mods to make him lore accurate, V STILL can feed him his own tin can butt cheeks in half a second. NPC's saying "save the stale comebacks" is really funny. I am always sitting there like "bruh, I killed my way through dog town to get here FASTER than actually driving. Fuck you mean, "SaVe tHe StAle CoMeBacKs" V IS HIM (or her) Its more just a funny observation that makes me chuckle. Especially in scenes where you team up with somebody to fight off some bad guys, and you straight up solo the entire encounter without breaking a sweat before the npc ally can fire a single shot. or when you meet Myers for the first time and they some how just manage to knock you on your ass with the most telegraphed attacks, threaten to shoot you. Even with game breaking stats, they still manage to do this. (if you have high body stat you can ignore this). After that convo, she needs your help, which then you proceed to UNLEASH the entire games code on a bunch of goons in seconds, causing mass carnage. With Myers then saying "not bad." Like MUTHA FUCKA, I just committed 19 war crimes, took out several weapon platforms, robbed families of their fathers, in under 5 seconds. Gives me a good belly laugh.
Honestly, many of CP2077's mistakes can be rooted back to TW3, as many aspects seem to be just straight up imports. The problem is,both the story and environment are different in the two games
I just have to say, who would raise a glass to T-bug?? She seems like such a minor character in the final game despite the bigger plans that the devs had for her in the concept art, genuinely almost forgettable. Just weird that she's even an option.
Clickbait..that being said it was nice seeing all the dialogue. In my ending she’s 6 ft under. I did avenge her though, killed Kurt with her signature gun
I have finished both finals, i think killing songbird is more exciting just for going to cynosure, the blackwall hack etc, buuuut i love songbird, her path is really good at the orbital space station, i think more chill, but at the end my favorite character is living and in the moon 🌙
She's so nice, I love her, she should've been a romancable character, especially for femV because her other options are dull as hell... I mean, they're nice, but they're so plain...
Fuuuuck. I dont wanna side with Songbird(nor do I want her and the blackwall AI she has access to getting in anyones hands, FIA or Nightcorp), but I really want her to love. She's literally the only redeeming character in the whole expansion
How long did you have to wait before getting her to call?. I was doing a few last gigs before i started the last mission in the main campaign, didn't get a call from her.
@@williammoutchia9292Really? I had this conversation way before I even got the quest to help So Mi through the spaceport. I thought it had already ended at that point lol I went off to do Panam's, Judy's and Kerry's quests.
To Save her or add another sociopath in V's head with Canto/Erebus... Truely a cornelian choice. Yeah... Let's put what was slowly killing So Mi in my head as well... Silverhand isn't enough.... I swear V can do some truely outrageously dumb shit in this game.
Canto is also attacking your nuro process by attacking both nano bots and brain. It can also slow down the process of the relic itself by combatting against it.
To me that was the best ending for me but with Rogue and i let Johnny take control so he could get revenge on Adam Smasher and i let Songbird die and not let Reed and the FIA to not have her... Reed is a puppet and FIA is well the FIA...I cant let Songbird go to the moon neither because Mr Bleu Eyes will have her which IS NOT GOOD if you know who/what Mr Bleu Eyes really is... so the best option is to complete the mission by sticking with Reed. Fight Hansen(bad ass bossfight) Fight the Maxtac(bad ass bossfigh) Run from the Blackwall Robot(metal Gear vibe) and free Songbird by letting her die.
Nice try but if you choose Silverhands wish to revenge Adam Smasher later you work with Mr.Blue Eyes and met him in Afterlife to talk about the big mission to enter the crystal palace. If you do your research about Mr.Blue Eyes it’s clearly he works for Night Corp. and Richard Knight the creator of Night City got a vision for a city that is peacefully and everybody have a good job and life but someone kills him, after that They call this city as a tribute Night City, his wife is still alive but she lives very unknown like and Night Corp works very secretly and invest in poor people with talents, people like Peralez to control the politicians.
I felt it like a backstab when I tried to give her the best life by choosing to betray SongBird, I had no clue she'd be taken down so fast by Hasen. It was the right choice all the way to betray Song but I couldn't leave Alex like that.

You can see such a strong mixture of grief and relief on Alex's face
Honestly when I got that call I was fully expecting an ambush by NUSA goons and a boss fight Vs Alex
I was fully prepared to kill Alex, and was pleasantly surprised by her not choosing the stupid option
Why would it be stupid? She’d just be doing her job and getting rid of a loose end

I appreciate the way that you went through all of the dialogue options more than I can say! I wish more TH-camrs did the same! I'll have to see what other videos you have, 'cause there are definitely some dialogue options that I regret missing when they were yellow and not blue.

That's why i love storytelling by CD Projekt Red by The Passionate people working on this game
Imagine giving your body to Johnny and the FIA finds out years later you are still not dead.
I'm glad V's mentioning T-bug again
i was on the same page as Alex for a solid few seconds :( wish we got more of T-bug
A media you help in one of Regina's gigs.
imo, i perfer rogue/sun ending

Thank you for including all of drinking to: “To ___” character options you are an actual saint 🙏
Not only that but you did ALL other options with Alex’s dialogue…
You also missed one additional “drink to” option and that is Scorpion from the aldecados, but for some reason you didn’t get the option.
Thank you. Not sure if being in a corpo path had to do with the scorpio dialogue. Now, I wonder who else may be included aside from scorpio.

9:38 nah johnny is so fcked up for this 😭 it was really hard for (my) v to kill reed, she liked him a lot and felt bad for him.
wish corpo v could have toasted "to this" like in the corpo intro and afterlife..
Everything in the DLC proved me right, and I am glad Alex survived and got a happy ending.
she was my favourite character from the dlc!
Why would V drink to T-bug of all people? she`s the least relevant on the list
i head-canon t-bug was V’s best friend so
@@tigrispanthera5496She sure didn't seem like it from the little dialogue we got

@@sharpasacueballnot at all, she’s like the least likely V friend outside Dex IMO.
Probably because they can? And why does it matter who someone drinks to in a video game?💀
I wish there was dialogue that V said "Reed's plans would of gotten you killed" because its clear she was NOT looped in on that.
Songbird gets Alex killed because she sells her and V out. Don't get it twisted.
Alex: it’s my job to kill you
Level 60 V: 🙄😒
She lived happily the rest of her life after that
"Time to find some new friends.
Nah, he a lapdog for the wrong one) but there was no question that So Mi and Alex alive was the choice for me.
for real , he was obviously a too loyal lapdog and i knew that would be a liability in terms of friendship so i always kept my distance personally
And after the Tower ending, I’m just kill Reed everytime. Getting chased by an EMMI and getting a machine gun isn’t worth it.
Playing through all the endings made me realize Johnny was right... they're the worst of the bunch. Armed Forces. Goddamn it Reed.
These kind of games where you kill 100s of enemies in the morning and people threaten you or think you can’t handle yourself.
I mean, it’s kind of their job. Why shouldn’t they do that?
@@williammoutchia9292 because FIA agents and fixers are supposed to know who you are and what you have been doing
I wish we had gotten at least one romance option out of her, songbird or aurore
I was down horrendous for Songbird. Forgot all about Judy and planned our whole life only for her to leave me on Earth 😔

Final comment from Johnny is pure gold, lmao. What a solid piece of a choom.
if u sided with song i thought alex would have hansens knife
Drinking to T-bug is crazy hahahahahha
Only good choice is to drink to Johnny, none of them were in the game long enough for me to give a crap about them.
When I decided to side with So Mi, I didn't really care about what happens to Reed. Alex was the one who kept me worried. Sad that there weren't more interactions with her, or a romance even.
when heard a threat i was like Alex must of forgot what i did to those soldiers at the space station.
Alex is the real one, she never lied to you and her intention was clear, to get out of FIA, she's the only person that you can truly trust in the DLC, my biggest regret in choosing saving Song is betraying Alex, but at least she got what she wanted and there's no bad feeling between the two
I always took it as saving song bird Alex because regardless Alex gets killed if you choose reeds side.
@@theexoreviewer5699 I didn’t know that when I made the comment so helping songbird really is just the best option.
How is she alive, she died when we inflitrated the black sapphire to save songbird 😮 what is this storyline ive never seen before

I really wanted to fight kurt hansen but fuck i dont want alex to die LOL
Idk , never saw this as a threat , more like "you gonna die anyways from the relic so might as well just let you be and do your own thing"
1:00 Alpha Centauri, next game hopefully
cdpr missed an opportunity to make alex a boss fight
My only regret about my ending choice (side with Reed but kill So Mi at the end) is that Alex dies too. She was really cool.
She’s letting you know she’s gunna stay out of your biz
I'll always spoilers because I can't spoilers spoilers. I just feel like this is not spoilers. Now spoilers is in my head all the time like ... whatever
I didn't know she could even survive I need to do some googling LOL
Maybe you can one shot Kurt Hansen, but Alex dropped the guy quite faster than i did in my pro-reed run...
cato be like "nuro-matrix acquired" can't let that new body of influence go to waste now.
Not a threat more of a friendly warning when you're time comes I'll be there ..which Alex DOESNT judge you at all for doing what you had too....shit even reed is still alive saying close to the same shit...even after you shoot his ass or at least it did for me.
I didn’t know you could save her, she died in my playthrough
You have to side with Songbird in Firestarter to save Alex
alex has sandy and can camo
Best ending for PL is when reed dies cause screw tyrants
LOL was I the only one who thought, after getting this call, that Alex was gonna kill me?
I didn't trust her until after this conversation. Even the scene where you share a beer with her...felt a little weird for her to be letting down her hair so quick with someone she only just met.
I mean, high stress situations and all that, sure, but still - I figured Alex would try to complete the mission, so to speak.
On my playthrough she never did get that retirement 😔
And let's just say the agency can't imprison songbird again😢
She wouldn’t stand a chance anyway
She talks to him like a clown from the afterlife
What I am about to write is a happy rant and by no means a mark on this game, I fuckin love it:
I find it funny how the game consistently has npc's and other main characters state V as "not important.' When infact, V is effectively the doomslayer of cyberpunk and you can literally 1 v 50 max tac goons in under a few seconds. Fuck you mean, "SaVe tHe StAle CoMeBacKs" V IS HIM (or her)
Its more just a funny observation that makes me chuckle.
MY MAN You're THE REAL DEAL, STAY SAFE AND STAY STRONG.
Honestly, many of CP2077's mistakes can be rooted back to TW3, as many aspects seem to be just straight up imports. The problem is,both the story and environment are different in the two games
T-bug wtf?
I don't get some of the toasts, a lot died before they even met!
Ok but why would anyone drink to T-Bug ?
why not ?
I just have to say, who would raise a glass to T-bug?? She seems like such a minor character in the final game despite the bigger plans that the devs had for her in the concept art, genuinely almost forgettable. Just weird that she's even an option.
Clickbait..that being said it was nice seeing all the dialogue. In my ending she’s 6 ft under. I did avenge her though, killed Kurt with her signature gun

Man, I wish I could play Phantom Liberty, but the damn game keeps crashing on me.

Wasn't a fan of any of the new endings. I get it Night City doesn't offer happy endings but I would have liked if my choices had some redeeming value.
To Save her or add another sociopath in V's head with Canto/Erebus... Truely a cornelian choice. Yeah... Let's put what was slowly killing So Mi in my head as well... Silverhand isn't enough.... I swear V can do some truely outrageously dumb shit in this game.
Hansen was on easy mode when she killed him.
