I have CF and try to spread as much positive awareness as I can. I'm now a decade older than what my life expectancy was when I was born. In 1990, it was only 17. I'm 26 now and the life expectancy has almost doubled in my lifetime thanks to the advancements in the medical and CF community. Thank you for posting this and getting the word out.
Both of my brothers have cystic fibrosis, yet I was the 1 in 4 not to get it.. the reason they didn't find it in a family history is because most of the time it was classed as pneumonia and the child died at an early age, rather than it being cystic fibrosis, look in family history for children that died to lung related illnesses early on up to the 1960.

My sons 9 he has cf there alot of medications involved.. I vs and it's scary. But he's healthy thank god he's getting on a medical trile .trifecta triple theropy .it's supposed to be a miracle drug. I hope everything works out for everyone with cf . Wee have to have faith in medical science.. Everlast is an inspiration to me and ever one involved in CF.xx
I hope Everlasts daughter has access to Trikafta. Life changing drug. We don’t have access in UK yet. If she’s double delta 508, she’ll be able to have it.
My sons getting put on it after the lock down. He got picked for the medical trial in Scotland.. Thank god. But hope all who needs it gets it. And they are working on even better things now.

ASA ahki. E, sir, always been a huge fan since I was a kid. (Almost 39yo now). My Gran passed from Alzheimer's and it was deviating. But my last, very last moment with her... My parents owned a bar. I was at the megatouch (this was a new jenk then). Across the bar was Gran n PopPop. They loved 1/4 mile away and came in often for linner. She had taken her dentures out and gave me a Bullwinkle (the old hand antlers in her ears) then put her teefers back in and played it off like nothin happened as I HOWLED in laughter. We said our goodbyes. I kissed and hugged her hard and said I loved her as I truly loved her and meant it. She fell asleep and didn't wake up, that very night. It was hard watching the deterioration but I forgot that shit. I'm sorry for your loss. I've been there. I have always looked to you as my OG. You've saved my life, literally. It's all love, ahki. My stepson has cf, he's the toughest little man in the world. He never stops smiling. He's so brave and loves everything
