"He attacked me"
Dude called Eminem "misogynistic, homophobic and anti-semitic." and is sitting there claiming that he was attacked.
That's why he is the way he is. Not in top. Just known by a few. I only kno of a few of his songs basically because of eminem
Eminem is 100% misogynistic and homophobic in his old songs…

If Steve didnt ask, Moby was gonna act like he was an innocent victim.
He was, Dre was targeting anyone that had the ability to undermine Eminem's image. If Eminem had of left it (as anyone civilised would) Moby would've been hailed as a hero for conquering the unconquerable eminem. But as Stevo points out, this wasn't a winning move for eminem. Moby sincerely and innocently tripped up eminem's pr agenda just by being himself.
The idea that Homophobia and Misogyny just showed up in 90s media is the dumbest thing I've heard today.
It's a crazy wild thought when you think about the fact that in the 80s aids was considered a gay disease by the media. So, it always had a homophobic lens to it.
That is not what was said here…..

@@Dazdillinger101 He called Em anti-semitic?? 😅 I'm sure Paul and Em had a laugh at this guy. Em was right. He doesn't know him or anything about him and still opens his mouth.

Like "I don't look now why EMINEM hates me, blah blah blah..." He knows exactly what he did & that he absolutely deserved it. As much as the first part of the lyric (just before this infamous line) was uncalled for & a bit nasty, I'm sure that reference gave Moby a lot more recognition with people who wouldn't have ever necessarily known who he was. It likely felt sh:tty at the time, but I always thought it was nothing more than a rhyme that sounded good to Em & so was used.

I think Moby is feigning a bit of cluelessness and innocence on how things went down. If people had patted him on the back for saying that about Em, for standing up to the 'macho bully' as some people might see it, he'd be recalling these events differently. Moby has some bangers.
Em dissed pop stars to distance himself from being labeled as one.
But he continued to diss one of them for making it personal about his family life which he talked about in his records, but eventually he felt like he regretted those disses and apologized to her and gave her a hug
Em attacked everyone that said something about him at that time. Moby started it. And he got it
It's as simple as ANYONE who provokes eminem he went after them. Christina Aguilera criticized eminem for the same reason and so he dissed her too it's that simple

That line is used so much in hard techno scen
Moby had legit jams in his time and em hated any commercial success even more after math got it
I always thought how funny it is Eminem dissed Techno considering he went to raves, and is also from Detroit which is the birthplace of Techno.

I think Moby has accepted the position he's in more so than relish in it. They are both politically outspoken and naturally that comes with discontent from people. I would actually wager Eminem is preferential to people hating him than Moby because hate fuels Eminem's fire from within. It's relevant by just looking at Eminem's lyrics in contrast to Moby's lyrics.

I don't think he's a narcissist. I'm not saying he was perfect but he is a pretty humble guy compared to most people at that level of fame and he puts the needs of people he cares about above himself. For pretty much any award he wins his speeches are just thanking the fans and the people that helped him even though the moment is for him, for the rock and roll hall of fame he just listed out all the rappers that influenced him growing up and thanked them. A few years ago he was able to perform at the SuperBowl with Dr Dre but Eminem was going to decline unless they allowed him to have 50 Cent perform with him and gave up being able to perform a 2nd song because of the time constraint. When his daughter became homecoming queen he just watched from a school classroom to not take the moment away from her. He was on Mike Tyson's podcast and said he feels like his biggest accomplishment is raising his kids. I just very strongly and respectfully disagree that he's a narcissist because if he was he would try to make every moment about himself. I felt like he went too far with the situation with Moby but I think he is a good person and has also matured as he's gotten older.
Eminem is a narcissist? Since when? Stop using mental illness terms for character
