This episode is one of my favorites. Monk was able to help a man in a similar circumstance as he was. Not shown here, but right after, Monk shows a picture of Trudy and tries to get him to say her name too.
I’m so glad Monk was able to help Samuel out here, even if he blurred the lines between his wife and Samuel’s.😅 Also, Monk saying “Picture go back,” is always funny.😂
Upon reflection, this was so unnecessary of that guy. So he hits someone by accident..and instead of actually pulling over and trying to help her, he decides to keep driving and goes and kills someone else? It was really stupid. Great episode for the comradary, though.
He let the man smoke in his home. Grab his hand. Monk let that man pass alot of guards because he related to him. A grieving widow looking for the man who took his love away.
After Samuel does the "say her name" thing, Monk thinks it looks cathartic, takes out a photo of his wife and does the same even though the killer never had anything to do with her. LOL. It would have been a great plot twist if he actually had murdered both their wives.
LOl my favorite scenes "Did hear that? , I'm down to two bags a day" "Oh thank you Natalie for teaching me how to laugh again" different scene "I have an idea, can you reach inside my pants pocket? Monk just stars at him... "Yessss..."
@2.25, does the assistant has to smile for no reason and that's why I say the first assistant was a much better actress. This is not "smile, you are on candid camera"

It was nice for Monk to make a friend who wasn't evil or trying to manipulate him. The guy played Simon on Oz. A gigantic and terffying gangster,
Fr, Adebisi was scary, but his hat always made me laugh
@@Drain9ang And he was one of the most popular characters on Oz.
Monk has some of the best detective stories, very interesting and advocating towards justice, the truth!

Widower. Not a widow. A widow is the woman.
@@ChromeCobra420 thanks for the correction
"I have a Dentist appointment tomorrow, ..." - Dude, your Dentist appointment is about five years delinquent.

Monk held his hand without any problems!
[Wipes hand frantically soon after]
