So, models that have the navigation head unit all include the Bluetooth feature? Or is it only just some of them? Also, can audio be played across the Bluetooth connection or is it just for phone calls?
@Nick Thanks for following up; that's good to know. Even the Lexus and Acura models of the time don't seem to do Bluetooth audio, (as far as I know, at least) so that's serious points for the Z.
Browningate for the zephyr they have bluetooth as far as I know and you can make calls on it and play music on it. I never had the one where the radio is different than mine so I'm not 100% for sure
@Nick - Just a quick update; I did a bit of research, and, as far as I can tell, Microsoft Sync (the system that runs the Bluetooth and USB playback capabilities) is only available on the 2008 models and newer. In fact, it's a standard feature, regardless of which head unit is installed (nav or standard). 2006-2007s will only have "line in" instead of "user device" on that last tab in the navigation radios.
You can a BT receiver for your line in that can pair with your phone, but you won't be able to use it to control the NAV system on the console, just your phone.
Hi Nick, i am having trouble with my phone. Every time i hit user device it goes away. I just had it synced yesterday then it shut off. Hadnt been working for a year then got a few hours out of it.
I have the 2007 mkx from what I seen online it's the 2008 and newer that have this option and the 2007 head assembly is a 1 year fit only
Those SUVs are very nice and made at a time when SUVs we're reliable and lasted over 10 miles
My Pop’s 2006 Lincoln Zephyr does not have this feature. What should I do?

That's still good to know. I wonder if the non-navigation head units also have this feature.

So if I have “Line in” that means I can’t???
Line in would be for auxiliary cable
