The “Real” Fake Worlds Of Pixar

  • Pixar has created some of the greatest animated films to hit screens. Between movies like Toy Story and Ratatouille, Pixar has been responsible for some of films best modern characters and stories. What the studio does best, however, is create a bridge between what we recognize as real, and what we know to be fake. Finding Nemo is an excellent example of Pixar doing this to near perfection.

@@shivanedadi4029 I don't think you understood what I meant. When they finish the shot and it comes the time to export it they "render it" rendering does not have that much to do with the skill of the artist. All that I was saying is that if each frame or 1/24th of a second took for days it would have taken hundreds of years to finish.

The cartoony characters didn’t feel like they belonged in the extremely realistic landscape, they didn’t match. It was hard to relate because it genuinely felt like they weren’t supposed to be there at all

@@TheBlackCinephile That's what I meant. Say whatever you want about Toy Story 4's plot (I like it, but even I can admit it's not perfect), but the animation in it looks phenomenal. I can even dare say it's one of Pixar's most beautiful looking films they ever made.
