Definitely the best looking sliders I’ve seen for a LR3/LR4

Looks great. I should also note that there is no mechanical difference between the LR3 and LR4

Thanks for the detailed video, I came across it as I consider these for my LR4. How are they holding up, its been ~10months?

Would it be possible to flip the sliders over to have the step towards the front?

Thanks for the video! I’m thinking of ordering these exact sliders for my 08 LR3. Curious about using them as a step. The back larger area looks awesome. How about the front? My wife and kids may need the step once I get the lift dialed in with the new tires.
Speaking of tires, in another comment you mentioned running 33” tires. Did you have to do any trimming or other mods to get those to fit? I’m running 2.5” Rhino lift rods (with the 2” SYA kit.) I’ll be adding another 1/2” lift through the Gap tool for a total of 3” over stock standard height. My new 33’s are on the patio waiting to be put on...

      1) Don’t use the supplied self tapping bolts. Buy some 3/8” grade 8 bolts with grade 8 nuts and washers and drill through the frame. I had 3 friends stand on mine last weekend and pulled the self tapping bolts out of the holes.
      2) Back is mounted to the body mount so seems good
      3) I’ve got your same lift combination. Requires removing the “horns” and slight trimming. I am installing 30mm wheel spacers tomorrow.
      Good luck!

Yes the fram horns are notched and it rubbed alot, so lots of plastic cut out.
      2.5" JOhnson Rods
      GAP IID Tool (Bluetooth)
      2" SYA Pround Rhino Spacers
33x11.5R20 Wheels and Tires, but looking to switch them up to a bit smaller and going to 18" rim to I have more sidewall and better ability to run on bumpstops if needed

Looks great! I just ordered a pair for my LR4. Gotta ask, what are the specs on the wheels/tires?

Sweet! They held up great on the last trip. Need to get some flat black paint to touch them up now as I hit a few good sized rocks. The tires are 33x11.5R20 Nitto Grapplers with 20" SVR Replica wheels. I wish I would have pulled them off when I bought it and sold them though. They were perfect and now are trashed. I would have gone with some 18" LR4 wheels with ~33" tall tires to give myself 2" of more sidewall for flex. I already blew a tire on a rock... I should not have "bumped it".

@@ChrisSmith50 what do you have as far as lift. it sits exactly how i'd like mine to. I have 2" Johnson rods but also have the IID tool to adjust.

You sure lose a lot of clearance with those.

Around 7:29, I hope that's just a mark and not a crack in the chassis?

Just a mark from the install. Not a crack.

These don’t look like a good design at all other than easy to install.
