They look really strong rock sliders! Most on the market are just cosmetic things, I do find the powder coating on these bolt on bits very quickly peels off, once the water gets under the surface they are doomed to fail, but these look like they are a lot more durable, they are a real asset in supermarket car parks, where people parked next to you fling their doors open and dent your aluminium door panels, now they get the dents ! Well done, Chris B.

Always love watching you guys work. You show how it's done in the real world - exactly as someone would do it on their drive, no bullshit, warts 'n' all. Unlike the videos where everything goes perfectly, where any of the offering up etc has already been done and the job is done perfectly from start to finish without showing any pitfalls you'd come across in the real world. Keep it up guys !
Oh, and get some of these rock sliders made for the Freelander 2 !

I spent weeks last year watching all your videos on the new Defender ready for my P300 110 delivery.
Unfortunatly, Land Rover have cancelled my order so I decided a D4 for a bit would be fun instead.
Look where TH-cam has brought me again..... Thank you!

Sorry to hear Land Rover have cancelled your order - these are mad times !
The D4 is a future classic - last chassis built Land Rover... we are making new products for our project D4 .. including some Defender inspired parts... so we have your back ...

Those times when you could film without a face mask! This is some proper 18kg Offroad stuff! Thanks for clarifying that "normal side steps" are pointless for Offroading. With this one, there is no loss in ground clearance.

Would Love to see a video on how you guys jack the car up in differnt configs i.e. one side with 2 axel stands. the whole car up on 4 axel stands, as always nervous as hell when I do it...any chance?

there is a fabricated bracket just a bit aft of the front wheel, use a hydraulic jack there to raise the whole car/ ALWAYS put timber between jack and chassis, never steel on steel, it stops slipping

They look like Britpart sliders. Mine last 6 months before all the powder coat came off. Do a raptor coat on them or better yet Line-X them before install.

Do you have to do a primer paint and sand? Or is this because of the presence of mud and the SUVs previous use?

Re that tread tape...it will be awful trying to keep it clean with mud getting all over it. Would a strip of self adhesive lightly ribbed rubber/vinyl be better? Just a thought as trying to wash that tape will be hard work. I think young Gary will have to find something else to put in the kit!😀😀😀
