    Paul, I've been devouring all of your Paul Akers and Fastcap content. The value of these interviews is unbelievable. I'm literally taking notes, pen on paper. Thank you both! So much. Hopefully one day I can be interviewed by UpFlip and I can say it all started with your fast cap series....
    Thank you.

    Another great video! Paul is like the master Jedi in business. Lots of good stuff here. Part 1 about being an expert is so true. My little niche business is so niche. My BIG competition didn't see a big profit to invest helping those in my niche, so I was able to capitalize and dominate the market. If I wasn't an expert, I wouldn't have been able to create what I have. Also, love the point in Part 2 about scaling. Paul is a real wise man. Only problem I don't know too many successful people in my line of business, to ask for mentorship.

    Great point Paul made about how prosperity tends to dampen ambition. It takes a large amount of motivation to get out of your comfort zone and make good things happen. Listening to Paul's advice is a motivation booster. Thanks!

    Only part I disagreed on was the patent part. It’s fine at the beginning to not patent your work and focus on the business. But you should patent when you have shown it works and have the spare capital. He mentioned when talking about trade shows an theft, this is why you would need a patent.

    • @UpFlip
      @UpFlip  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes patents are very smart to have when appropriate.

    • @StonesAndSand

      @@UpFlip Since patent searches are involved, the entire process usually protects you from infringement against other patents.

    As much as this guy loves to hear himself talk he speaks a lot of truth and his energy and enthusiasm is infectious. Plus I love that he’s one of the biggest companies ever on UpFlip preaching to go slow, focus on quality, don’t take big loans or scale too quickly. Then you have these 19 year old mobile detailer kids talking about building a car detailing franchise across the country in 2 years lol
