Great tip dude and too many people don't know about it. I literally get asked this question daily, and because I have used it for so long, I just assumed everybody else knew about it haha. Cheers
AWESOME Tip man. This is a major development for me. I’m not a finger drummer as I single track drums (old school) lol . This is perfect for my workflow. Blessings to you bro
I use Ableton mostly for vocals, adding special effects, and mixing. But I just import the stems from the MPC and just organize them by groups. The MPC can't do everything that a full fledged DAW can, but I prefer it as a music production center 😂
cool video man (feedback: lots of very slow moments and repetition, maybe for future ones, edit them and go to the point? That video was sick and could have had 500K views if a little more to the point :) ) . to answer your question, the reason why I want to be able to bring this to LOGIC via MPC software is to collab with other producers. I come to sessions (writing or producing sesh) with my MPC live 2 and I can contribute and finger drum or use some of the MPC sounds (like mellotron etc). Also got all possible vintage drum machine ever samples on my MPC so that's cool to bring to a session. However, if the MPC isn't sync to the LOGIC project it can be a pain. there you go. thanks again :)
IMHO MPC is a DAW with a sequncer/pattern based workflow. Its a slightly different way of doing things but you can do everything you need within it... no need to export to a linear DAW, unless you want to switch to that workflow for composition or what have you. My 2 cent!
Great vid. This is my workflow in FL.. works flawlessly in FL Studio. When I tried this in Logic ..did the drums on 1 track, then exploded. But each audio file I exported was blank. Any idea why that is??
great tutorials. Is there any way I can save my audio output settings for each pad. So when I load another program. I don't have to reassign the individual tracks again. Ie 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 into Ableton. Right now, I have to reassign the individual outputs every time I load a program.
I trained myself not to mess with anything besides the levels before I export because the plugins go to whatever daw u use. Only by pass is u bouncing ur audio to sample with all ur bells and whistles. There might be another way.. that's just what I'm comfortable with.
Another way to do it is to run midi out of MPC to midi in on your daw. This way you can play all of your sounds from Ableton on a midi track within the MPC . This also allows your NPC to take control of the timing on Ableton. Also the transport controls are used on MPC.
I dont understand why you would use the software if you have Logic. Just make the beat in the Live then export exploded tracks to logic.... get nifty in Logic. I only kept the Mpc Live 2 cause the Pads/Pad response and the 'Live' beatmaking aspect of a hardware groove box/sampler. Everything else on the Mpc is seriously trash... the FX are the wourst things ive ever heard
Good tip your 100 percent correct I new about this drag & drop for years . Which everyone sleep's on thanks for sharing the topic .
💥💯💥

Ryan that was great thanks, keen to see videos on hardware linking to MPC etc...🙂
coming very soon!
Hey just dropped one on hooking up synths!!

Great video. Thank you
Sweet thanks bro
I don’t have or see plus an ad signed why you wouldn’t know? I will appreciate you king

I am not sure why that would happen to be honest, you’re doing the copy audio drag and drop???
Wow thanks for this. I wish you could explode the tracks in program and do the same drag and drop single instruments into your daw?
I wonder if it would work like that
I appreciate your time but please work on a concise explanation.
Would you happen to know the issue occurring if I have sounds on my pads but pressing record won’t send it on to the mpc 2 app?
Dude you would get many more views and subs if you just get to the point...

Can the midi be dragged as well?
Yes the same exact way in the video I do it with the midi!

I'm going to try to make a video later
@@FA-Q how do you do this I’m trying to figure this out
I don't want no Daw in ma beat

An ‘Easy’ way takes you 40 minutes to explain?
showed it in 2 different DAWS, was meant so you could just skip to the Ableton or logic part.
@@ryannbakerbeats no worries. thanks for responding
