This series is by far the best explanation of the MPC on the Internet. Akai can’t do this because they can’t see it from the perspective of a completely new user. Thank you so much for your efforts to make everything so clear.

1:30 minutes in and I already like your pacing and explanations better than other tutorials I've come across. That's something when the difference is obvious that quick. And yes, i actually do have my expresso, with the machine on standby!

8mins in and I already have to say that your approach to explaining has got me understanding more than from previous tutorials. This is the first time I've understood not only the difference between programs and track, but also how they are connected and how you use them together. It's really useful when you say how you use them, as well as edit samples and warp samples.

Thanks a lot, I'm 61 yo, this machine is difficult to use for an old newbee. The manual is useless... I was strugglling to understand the basics, you helped me a lot.
I was using a lot of hardware in the studio, but needed something to play live without all the hassle of unplug, carry, plug, unplug, carry back, plug again in the studio...
Being used to 1 button one fonction, the mpc is puzzling my brain, but with time I should do it.

Thank you for demystifying how to navigate the MPC. I was trying to do it all through trial and error, and kept hitting walls. I somehow managed to import some drum one shots and sequence them into a beat, but that's as far as I got (with much hair pulling and gnashing of teeth). I've been producing for some years now and have owned a lot of hardware as well as using DAWs, and can usually find my way around. The MPC definitely has it's own way of doing things. It's starting to make sense, now. Time to watch the rest of your Masterclass!
