When you suggest we iron the fabric are you saying to wash the fabric first?

Thank-you, you have a great teaching style.
On concerning note, have you taken your ring off recently? It looks like you may need to get it cut off, if you leave it much longer. Your finger seems a bit red below it. You can get it resized up before it becomes a major problem, they can lose metal with taking it off with a saw. Hoping for the best.
Sorry if you think i'm just a pain, I try to be helpful. Over time your card hexi, can become inaccurate/smaller from the pressure of your pencil and constant use. If so, make another, or get a plastic template which can't get smaller. I use one with double stick tape, to hold my paper securely, as I cut close with small scissors, to cut my papers accurately. I use one 1/2" larger to cut my fabric, with double stick tape. Over time a lot of fibres collect on it and will stop it sticking, so I replace the tape. No more lining the scissors up with pencil lines and hoping I got it right. I use paper clips to hold things together, I put two on, on opposite sides to stop the fabric moving as I baste, or in a pinch, a wooden spring peg. All the best.
