New subscriber! I’ve been watching videos . I’m new to epp. Thanks
Do hickey!!
Thank you for this .. I’m a big fan of big stitch hand quilting .. good tips!🧵
I love your remark about “making the project make you feel happy”. Thank you for that!
Thank you, you do lovely work.
It is not good for the finger to have such a tight fitting ring.
❤
When you suggest we iron the fabric are you saying to wash the fabric first?
Glue is easier when you have basal arthritis. I wasn’t able to hold the needle before surgery, but I could glue. I WILL be able to sew soon.
I started as a thread baster but switched glue basting because I got tired of rethreading the needle. Definitely a glue baster now
About how many 1” hexies do you think you can glue baste from one Sewline glue stick?
Right? In my state these glues stick are 10 bucks each.
About 70 for me
First time seeing you! Subscribed and really enjoyed you
You pronounce perle ‘per lay’
Can I buy from ur country? I lived in Malaysia.
I am just learning EPP. I started quilting in the 80s and discovered I am more productive with a project that takes very few tools and space. I hate gluing with the Elmer's glue sticks because it is so messy. So far, I prefer to thread baste but I do not sew through my templates, and I do two stiches on each corner. I think pressing helps but I put my basted shapes under heavy books to press instead of using the iron. This helps me feel relaxed which is the main goal of my EPP project.
I love that red sewing machine!
Lovely presentation. Thank you.
Hello Steph! I am working on my very first quilt ever! I am doing the entire quilt by had. Glad I found your channel!

New subscriber. So well explained beautifully photographed enjoyed every moment🌻
Hi I'd like the way you quilt but when you quilt through the batting and top part after you put the backing it will be lose or there is a way how to attach it ? Thank you
Literally just discovered you, thankyou so much for such a lovely tutorial, have subscribed x
Thank-you, you have a great teaching style. On concerning note, have you taken your ring off recently? It looks like you may need to get it cut off, if you leave it much longer. Your finger seems a bit red below it. You can get it resized up before it becomes a major problem, they can lose metal with taking it off with a saw. Hoping for the best. Sorry if you think i'm just a pain, I try to be helpful. Over time your card hexi, can become inaccurate/smaller from the pressure of your pencil and constant use. If so, make another, or get a plastic template which can't get smaller. I use one with double stick tape, to hold my paper securely, as I cut close with small scissors, to cut my papers accurately. I use one 1/2" larger to cut my fabric, with double stick tape. Over time a lot of fibres collect on it and will stop it sticking, so I replace the tape. No more lining the scissors up with pencil lines and hoping I got it right. I use paper clips to hold things together, I put two on, on opposite sides to stop the fabric moving as I baste, or in a pinch, a wooden spring peg. All the best.
Lol! Gotta try these, they look amazing.
well done you did good and it will come easy
How fun!
Absolutely brilliant ! 👏
Very well done!
I’ve enjoyed your video & subscribed, but doesn’t your ring hurt?
Yours is an unnecessary comment . Why would you care?
This was 3 years ago. I don’t even remember what it was about.
