I discovered this song in 2008 around the time I met an incredible girl my junior year of college. We started out as friends; we'd drive around until 4am just talking. We'd watch movies all night until one of us fell asleep. We'd spend every minute we could with each other. Eventually it was obvious we both had feelings for each other well beyond just being friends. We started dating in 2010 and we're still together and still madly in love. I am old, I grew up in the 70's. Pink Floyd Animals tour was my first concert. When the 80's hit I thought there will never be music as good as the 70's, then came the 90's, wow. 70's and 90's are my favorite music decades (and into the 2000's). I've gotten tired of zombies walking around staring at their hand... In 2003, give or take a year, I was fortunate enough to see Air in Phoenix (music is a drug to me and I need to score) at an unscheduled stop between LA and NY (I don't think they liked the US too much). Can't believe they stopped in our cowboy town but I'm so glad they did. It was an awesome show at the Marquis, like 300 peeps, and after every tune they played they got grand applause and you could see how surprised they were that they could be that popular in a "old hick town" in America haha.

One of the most amazing songs ever created. It’s truly timeless after over 30 years! I can feel the sun on me when I listen to it, and everything turns into a long weekend road trip with my friends, and all the longing and ease that comes with young love suddenly floods my feels. I had no idea until today that Air made any videos. I was too busy listening to their music in my car or in headphones while doing things outside, that I never had an occasion to learn of their videos. Brilliant!

It took me a long time to be able to embrace this chapter of my life. Reading the comments on how mark and I touched a lot of people made me realize that spreading love to the world might be a higher calling for myself. I feel unapologetic about this time period in my life. Mark and I are actually still friends and keep in touch!
