It's been 8 months since I've played Dark Souls 3. My lord am I rusty, I barely even know the buttons. And yet Lothric continues to be my happy place. I've tried to stay away, and yet it welcomed me back gracefully. Thank god for this game. Despite how long majority of us have been on Ds3 and were itching to move on to Elden Ring, like a dog waiting for the front door to open to bolt, now a lot of us miss the play of Ds3. It had a TON of issues, but when it came to it, there was a lot of fun and dare I say, skill in coming out on top in PvP encounters. Not to say ER doesn't but man, it's just not comparable, at least atm.
lovely video. i also made my return to lothric recently. there was a piece of me missing and i believe ive found it again. such a special game. hope to coinvade! ps nice fashion 😌
This was a really great reminder of a lot of the great things about DS3. The combos, the higher skill floor, but also some of the lousier things, like the players who entire gameplan is just "run away and wait for my friends to kill you". I always resented just how much easier it was to run away in DS3, but I guess all of these games have some critical flaw like that that drive me insane. Looking forward to whenever the next Return to Lothric event is, should probably start making some builds for PS4 soon! Great stuff as usual Fel!
You and your SL90! I guess it's better for Strength or Dex than... Grubmage. Which I suppose were the only 90 invasions I ever did. Anyway, we stan Las Maracas y Poker.
I can never find pvp in this game anymore... i'm glad *someone* is having fun online ;) great video. Really liked the inclusion of Jim Croche's Operator near the end.

I haven’t given up on it but I desperately need a reset. The numbers are just not designed well in that game and I’m tired of being three shot by an overleveled phantom. There’s so much I want to try in that game but I find it too frustrating and at the same time dissatisfying - even when I win I’m not sure if I had that much fun. I don’t really like passive poise or the way that hitstun/combos work. Magic is fun but the melee combat really isn’t great. That said I think it’ll get better over time and I’ll come back when it is to give it an honest second try.
@@Felicificity Same here, I wanted to enjoy it so much but I could just never get into it. Slowly trying to get into PvP there, but I find myself enjoying DS3 so much more, despite its own set of flaws

I haven't felt the tug yet myself to return to Lothric, but I know it will happen. This game was good to me.

I still regret getting VAC banned on DS3 because I played Cinders Mod before taking a hiatus and forgot to uninstall it

I’ve recently started derusting. I haven’t played any soulsborne game in months. I’m kinda having fun becoming a proficient invader again though.
