Some dude reversed into my car at work while it was parked. The 1 week that it was in the shop was the longest week in my life. Had to drive a shitty Nissan Sentra rental in the mean time
...It comes down to priorities. I'm having the same argument with myself. Do you have ice/snow or lots of rain (and not mind having dedicated winter tires)? Do you carry ppl/kids often? Do you crave torque down low? Do you have to be first from the stop light? Do you take long road trips? Dp you have to have a sunroof? Do you value driving feel over all other attributes? Priorities. Despite all of it shortcomings, I still have the BRZ limited ahead of the wrx base/premium.
@@irisdutra5033 really? i just test drove one, ive owned 3 vws manual, and a fiat 500 abarth manual. i think the wrx clutch engages really high and you dont feel the engagement, but if you just slowly let off the clutch and wait for the car to roll withiout givign it gas its pretty easy to get a feel for it. it is a little bit tricky, and i could see it being difficult for a beginner but its not that bad.
Nice video. I’m currently shopping around and I have a 15 ecoboost mustang with a lease that’s up next month. I’m looking between a 19 ecoboost or a 19 wrx. I test drive the wrx and I was really impressed by how it drove. I wasn’t too impressed by the interior, but it was a base version. Seats were not comfortable. Judging by this video I think I may need to check out one that’s got the premium trim I want. I haven’t priced the wrx yet, but my ford guy says he can get me into a 36 month lease at $560 no down payment or $519 with 2k down. I don’t know if he’s ripping me off or not though. 😓
@@jeeyahnbrah3510 No, you can use an AP with even the factory setup and use it for data-logging, fault checking and gauges. The stage 1 tune can be done with the stock intake too. Most people use it for ECU programming, and I'm not sure why anyone would want it if they're not putting a tune on the car. I'm not running a COBB intake, My customization is an EGR and TGV Delete and installation of an AOS system, There is no COBB off the shelf tune for this, so I had it Pro-tuned at a local shop and the COBB access port allow a convenient storage of this tune and other variants. @@jeeyahnbrah3510 correct, my brother is running stage 1 on his bone stock '18 limited WRX just to get rid of that rev hang. He programs it temporarily back to the factory tune when he gets it serviced.
I believe by the 2018 releases subaru has fixed most of the issues. Also you have depreciation the second you drive off the lot with a new car. Also you know it hasnt been beaten on and you have full advantage of the warranty's. I'm looking to buy a used wrx as well. I could buy a new one but that would be at least 2-3 years away.
