It’s interesting how she has a British accent in the movies, but her British accent in real life is much different.
That’s because there isn’t one ‘British’ accent. ‘British’ includes multiple countries and countless dialects.

Even for people who don't like Rey (I kinda like Rey up till episode IX), I still feel throughout the trilogy Daisy Ridley gives a consistently strong performance with what she's given. I wish people's hate for Rey didn't spill on to Ridley herself.

Goddess. It's rare to find a lady these days who carries so much class and sophistication like she does. She has received so much negativity for things that are out of her control and admire her for that. Hope she takes a good break and comes back even stronger.

Agree! I'm excited for the new generation she'll train so we can get rid of all the toxic fanboys. My 7 & 10 year olds have seen all 11 movies plus the freedom fighters cartoon series and they loooove SW! The future SW is for them to cherish, not us oldies to constantly cut apart.

yeah she only got around 100-300 thousand per the three movies which is not much for actors that spend years working on movies
If Daisy doesn’t get work we can blame all the new trilogy haters out there cuz they’re the reason the movies aren’t popular thus decreasing Daisy’s cedibility as an actor. The same thing happened to Hayden Christensen. It’s so sad because I love both of them but negativity towards recent Star Wars films from people who just want everything to be like the original trilogy ruin their careers
I think she will be fine, she is a great actress, maybe she will get less work than Adam Driver (who gets too much work) but they can't be dumb enough to not hire her for anything, and more now that there are more options like movies or shows for Amazon, Netflix, HBO, Disney+ and who knows what else

You can tell she's so done with the media circuit. I saw her in 3 interviews for different outlets with the same outfit on. It must just be exhausting zipping from point A to point B almost non-stop.

promotion and press is normally done on the same day, this is why she wear same outfit for many videos and etc.

I love her and look up to her SO much. She's so down to earth and classy. I remember when I watched The force awakens and saw that the protagonist was a girl, the impact her character had on me as a young, developing woman. I can't describe it. She's my favourite thing of the sequels. I'm excited to see what else she'll be doing, because she's immensely talented.
Also, the interview is so good and well thought overall. I loved it, kudos to the interviewer.

If there is one good thing to say about the latest Star Wars movies, it is that Daisy is a very good actor. Those that don't like the movies and say that they can't relate to the character, are probably just looking at everything AROUND Rey instead of at her, not noticing how Daisy emotes. At least that is what I was doing when I watched the movies, focusing on the terrible plot and nonsensical turns.
So, hate the movies, but love the actors. They got the short end of the stick, victims of Disneys ineptitude.

She was super in this movie! I was shocked that Adam Driver’s name came up in the credits before hers, and the names were NOT in alphabetical order. She had a much bigger role than he did in this one. Now I want to know: how much was she paid, how much was he paid?
