I’m kinda confused with the aiming and movement settings, if I put everything on 4-3 linear do I turn on alc as well or turn it off? Because when I turn it off target compensation and aim assist doesn’t work pls help.
Ngl the changes these simple setting swaps did for my aim is night and day I didn't touch my ALCs but the improvement was there when I got rid of the clutter thanks Rachet 👍
1:18 I have played on 240Hz before and it feels nice but to be honest, there isn't a huge difference between 144,165 to 240 most of the time on this game. I once started from capped 120fps all the way to 180 for fun and experimenting and the difference was so minimal! But it's so cool to see every player try to be different lol. If every single person had the same refresh rate it does sound boring haha! I love when people of different refresh rates fight eachother and prove that it doesn't matter how little or large the frame difference is between them and i agree, 160 - 170Hz does feel like a sweet spot if i'm honest and that's why you are an example of "I could play at 90Hz and still get ya" type of guy haha! Love your videos man
did the exact same thing with the sens, constantly changing and finally settling with 4-3 lin. You should definitely give this button layout a try. (dual paddle, non claw) - jump (Lb) -sprint (up D) -crouch (L click) -melee (X)/(L paddle) -interact (R click) -use meds (right D) -cycle weapon (O)/(R paddle) -toggle fire (left D) -ADS (LT) -grenade (TRI) -attack (RB) -ping (X) TIP: controllers with touch pad , in steam config add keyboard holster weapon to R touchpad ;)
I had the same troubles with my ALC’s as well I played 500 500 for months and loved the way it felt but couldn’t stand the Hipfire inconsistencies I’d run into. These days I play 6-6 linear no deadzone with low sense alc per optic settings on 1X 0.5 2X 0.5 3X 0.6 4X 0.7 6X 0.8 8X 0.8 10X 0.6 I’m a lil burger on 4-3 can’t get past the low sense😂
After a couple weeks you won't even notice the drift anymore. My opinion the drift is basically reactivating aim assist as it drifts. You will beam once you get adjusted. Give it 2 weeks and you will never turn back
I ran your Season 18 ALC settings this season and they weren't too bad but switched back to 4-3 linear. My main question is how did you get push to talk on your paddles?

I think I also heard from dezignful that those top 3 settings affect regular sens but if I max out DZ and turn ALC off I will still get stick drift when I swap to 4-3 linear no deadzone. Same with response curve - 30 response curve and turning off ALC and linear is still linear. It's not "stiff" at all. Is this a PC thing or something?
the ultra low latency mode in control panel is irrelevant if you're using an nvidia gpu with in game Nvidia reflex enabled or + Boost, as nvidia reflex overrides ulta low latency mode as it's their improved design.

with no deadzone its definitely easier to control recoil but harder to play the game in general cause where im aiming keeps on moving but with small deadzone its easier to play and focus on a target without looking away and its still pretty easy to aim
I don't know his button layout but just a advice: Try ninja layout but change the tactical button it's way more smooth for aiming and movement especially with 4/3 linear also switch crouch and jump on ninja for crouch spamming while ads or hip firing more effectively
Turn your small deadzone on, if there is still stick drift you need a new controller If there is no stick drift with small deadzone u just have to turn it off and get used to it eventually you will improve at dealing with it
Before any pleb says Cronus…you have zero idea how to utilize aim assist. Apex has very sticky aim assist and the way to maximize it is strafing left to right while in gunfights. 4-3 linear zero dead zone.. it’s all muscle memory

I don’t have perfect aim at all. No secret to get this good at all, it’s a combination of just someone who is naturally talented at everything I do , experience & practice. Mostly experience. Again experience won’t mean much if someone is just inherently bad. Ceiling is much much different for everybody based on the floor level skill

These are great binds, mine are almost identical apart from my Heal wheel is on L3 swapped with toggle zoom on up arrow, seems to help a lot.

Turn your small deadzone on, if there is still stick drift you need a new controller
If there is no stick drift with small deadzone u just have to turn it off and get used to it eventually you will improve at dealing with it
