none of the videos similar to this actually show WHAT THE SETTINGS do with a decent explaination so massive props for actually putting things into words and suggesting we test things ourselves.
we should be eons past the days of "THE BEST SETTINGs!!!" and copy/pasting all the values with no understanding.
I wanna add- that with the removal of tap strafe binds on steam I'd love to see your updated approach to playing controller. obv not settings wise- but positioning and movement that still works without lurches.
Players like Newey have ALOT of insight into just how insane controller tech can be without any lurches. (theyre on console)

Honestly I was surprised of how high sense these settings were when I hopped into pubs with them. But I still managed to hit some of the best shots I have in awhile. I'm hoping with these settings I can use it as a reference in order to make some big improvements. Thank you for your help ❤

Console players can get specific numbers on the ALC sliders too. Just press and hold X/A while on the slider and then use your left stick to move left or right, it's like a mouse
I swapped my jump and crouch paddles like you said and first 10minutes in range feels like learning to write with my left hand as a right handed person BUT!, crouch spamming while aiming is exponentially more accurate and I can already tell getting use to it will worth it. Once again thanks for your videos. Got my first two 3K games (after 4 seasons of 2k max) the same day I first watched your free sessions about fights.

You can get the exact value on console if you hole x{ps5} on any of the sliders you can use the left analog to adjust to specific numbers but it’s just a pain in the ass takes some time

I play claw with four buttons/paddles. Top left back button: heals. Bottom left back button: map. Top right back button: nades. Bottom right back button: legend armor upgrades 😂
Am i doing this wrong? Works for me and ive gotten comfortable with it. Ive always talen a lot of breaks from Apex. This season tho, i wamt to really stick it out, cus its fun and also for my own personal reasons. I want to see how far i can go and how much i can improve. My max ranking is Gold 😅 im aiming for plat BUT what i want to mainly see is my improvements.
I just wanna say thanks to you props too you I watched your video one time and took the time to really adjust my settings and idk if it was just that game but I seem to be playing a lot better aiming a lot putting my self in better positions just by following you and watching your tips thanks bro hope to play sometime
For the sensitivity you can do it on console fot PS you just gotta hold X button on the section you want then use the analog sticks to move it back n forth to get the right numbers

Ive changed my settings so much ..and what ive found is that on some controllers the left stick has drift as well as the right and it is so subtle that you dont imagine its affecting you but its causing you to drift off center of mass if aim assist isnt grabbing really hard .try large movement deadzone because not every controller is going to have the same amount of drift
large deadzone is what works for me on every setting
Get a controller with hall sensors never worry about it again just game

You can actually do it pixel by pixel on console. You have to turn the crosshair speed all the way down and fidget with it. I run a low 7% dead zone
What you think about no more steam configs? I think it's fair it's either more movement or aim assist you shouldn't be able to tap strafe by pressing a button I've played on setups with tap strafe bound before and shits broken

Im using an old ps4 and my frames drop below 40 and below 30 sometimes, so having an up to date console will also help with how smooth your aim would be, when I get shot at and my frames drop it’s literally impossible to beat someone in a better console since the the frame delay is abysmal, I’ll be behind a wall and no body showing and still be shot at 1 second later, the graphics is also better because people would blend in with the color

I use the default alc settings and change the top 3 to 8/7/8. Legit lazers, tracks, and hip fire's.
Have you tried 4-3 linear but prefer the ALCs?
I've tried everything, I'll never go back to 4-3 lin. the dead zones are terrible, and the speed is just not fast to what i personally like to play with

I did a 4-3 linear conversion in the AlCs. I run it with a 7% dead zone and I’m already way better than I was a week ago.
Can you tell me what the alc equivalents are? I play on 4-3 linear but want it in alc

How you make tap strafe? Which botton do you set up?
tip for controllers you can actually put the 3 percent it just takes some time if you can get like an 6 or 9 it helps
With the os5 edge controller I can play with zero dead zone on console. Zero deadline in the edge controls as well. Very little sway
I can get the one pixel on Xbox by hovering over it then spamming it then it’ll go up to 3

What’s the benefit of being able to inspect weapon? is it for cosmetic purposes or are we like canceling certain animations with it?
i think it’s for like heirlooms, when you see wraiths flipping the knife i think it’s just spamming the inspect
@@conorreidy25 yea I knew about it showing off the heirlooms too but I was wondering why showing off the weapon was important enough to assign to such an important controller button over other things. If it’s just to be flashy I can respect that too I’m just curious if there’s some kind of hidden mechanical benefit to it.

How do you heal and swap grenades on default? Are you using your thumb and losing the ability to move or aim?
yea i heal with my thumb on the Dpad. not a big deal because i dont heal very often

the problem using hold to reload is, when ur teammate hold knock shield for u, u will rez them when u reload
That will happen no matter what setting you use on controller. The only way around it is by shooting all your bullets so it automatically reloads
if you use tap to reload this doesnt happen
It has never happened to me on tap to use and reload since you need to hold for a res

I have my interact setting as hold to reload and tap to interact but whenever i try to play a teammates knock down it priortizes the res; is there any way around this?

I did the same thing i played wit als for a while cudnt perfect the settings coppied a tutorial short on youtube one day and kept tweaking it its beautiful and ofc ive used hold interact for a long time much better and i have an xbox pro controller so paddles lol but ive jumped wot rightsticks since warzone one cuz of accidental melee mid fights so thts hard to chge now lol i may add the slight ramp up time to my setting loadout tho for close range hipfire cuz i agree the snap can hurt and instead if vreaking they ankles u break ur neck tirning to far lmao

sorry sir but i was able to do everything you were able to on console (i got it 1 pixel up) deff didnt spend like 10m on it plus i turned down my menu cursor speed to help with this)
Actually you can refine the settings on console by using the cursor it is just extremely hard to put it in the right spot

You can micro adjust on console just use the stick not the dpad .I've been using those adjustments for quite awhile
yes you can but you cant have pin point accuracy like on PC, i played xbox for 2 years and you cant easily get a precise adjustment
@TheRealDistrict in the video you made a point of saying console can't have 139 ads . But you can ..and you can micro adjust deadzones and response curves and all the other settings that have multiple positions in whole numbers
@@Imtoast2011 again like I mentioned in my reply to you, you cannot precisely pick the exact adjustment that you want by using the analog cursor. Yes, you could by chance happen to click on 139, but if you wanted to change that from 139 to 138 you would have an insanely hard time doing that

I’ve used the steam setting and have switched back because when I accidentally push the L3 button in, it makes me crawl. Like, if I’m climbing a wall and I accidentally push in the L3 button it drops me off the wall. I’ve died numerous times to it. HELP!!!!

It's not impossible on console. You click the tab and then by pressing D pad you can scroll to what you want. You gotta play with it but it will adjust. If you get stuck on 2 it will go by 2 . Same for odd numbers. Even by Tens
