Guys! Were moving right along. We just got the door and windows mounted on the addition. We had used the generic united windows for the small ones. We had to have the large window custom made and the door custom made. Apparently Lowes really doesn't carry six inch framed doors options in house. Pretty weird.

If you put a six foot level across the bottom of the window to make it straight, then tack the bottom corners, and under the stationary panel, then measure the diagonals to square the window up. Possible that the window wasn’t squared, and that caused your issue with the panel. I’m loving watching these videos to follow your progress. 👍

Never tape or silicone the bottom flange of a window, for if/when water does get to your flashing it has a way to drain out, also slope your sill plate away from the building next time

I will definitely be sloping the sill next time!

4:09 i think , there is no need to put that tape at the bottom ofrece the Windows. ...in case you drop water From inside, it will not find its way out

Hmm I know the big one was a 72x36 and I think the others are 24x36. I might have said it in my framing video.

constructive criticism never tape or silicone bottom flange of windows, if it leaks water has no place to go also i like to put a piece of beveled siding then tape the bottom in case of water Use a bigger level its more accurate everything l;ooks great

I subbed, but I’m to be honest I was disappointed in the video. I really think you missed an opportunity to present a lot of useful information. From window measuring to ordering, choices and cost, etc… and the we really didn’t see the install, just a couple of quick before and after shots. But thank you, as I’m renovating a farmhouse and looking for some inspiration in remodeling and also homestead life, so I’ll keep watching.
