~4:46 - goggles or, better yet, a face shield if the brush gives up bristle at the RPMs of that tool? 🤷‍♂️ Is it a good idea to apply a light film of brake.pad.grease inside of that backing plate hole? ~6:57 - lug nut torque wrench tightening 50 miles to 100 miles later?

    Hi Scotty!
    1) Never bang on a rotor, especially when there is an alternate method of removing it.
    2) Please tighten lug nuts in the proper order! After tightening the first one, go to the "opposite" one and continue in a crisscross pattern. And gradually hand tighten before using the torque wrench. This will prevent the rotor from warping.

I recently bought "Yellow Jacket 60648 Digital Adjustable Torque Wrench", it should work for very tight places. Before I used "Motion Pro 08-0380 Adjustable Torque Wrench Adapter", it is very effective for tight places like nuts for rear wheel cylinders. On that tool you need to compute a bit, if you don't apply it perpendicular to the wrench, but there is a formula there in instructions. Very good tool as well, you can use it with regular Torque Wrench. Of course it will work very well in the way you explain, I have no doubts in your level of expertise, and write my comment for those who is crazy about torque specifications and can mess up something due to the low level of knowledge on the subject, like I am. Thank you for the informative film.

Hey Scott, here's a good one for ya. 2018Kia Soul 1.6l non-turbo, 81,000 miles. Out of warranty because we'rethe 2nd owner. It threw a code (forgot the number) that said the fuel rail pressure sensor was getting erratic readings. It will go no more than 9mph when the code was present but the code(s) disappeares if the car sits for 30 minutes then it drives normally until the code comes up again.Boss had a mechanic replace the rail pressure sensor, which is itself a chore.
Same issue along with a lean condition code and cat sensor code. Took it to the Kia DEALERSHIP here and gave them the codes since they were now gone and they had it 3 days. They called and said they drove it over 50 miles and no code. Since the code doesn't come up, they "don't know what to do". Thats a direct quote from Kia's dealership here.
They didn't even test the tank pump pressure or the rail pump pressure.
Personally, I believe its the rail pump. Do you have an opinion?

I am curious. You can see a very short clip of the dash when he starts it that the ABS/ETC lights are on... having a feeling it’s not functional. I didn’t see the step where he unplugged or plugged in any sensors either. So it’s hard to say haha

    • @sergeilutzak2479

If there is no warning light, the computer is not concerned. He would have needed a slippery surface on which to check it. ABS doesn't work on dry roads...not necessary.
