Good video Boris. You put things into great perspective. What’s the best way to find a flat for 3 months stay in Montenegro please? I just checked out Airbnb - not really cheap!
good info boris - what area are you living in? can you find 12 month lease for apts vs off season and high season? the electric bill seems crazy.... sure you weren't pay for someone else too?
Back then Bar, now Ulcinj. Electric bill was due to the house, where we‘re now we finally pay humane prices and have a base warmth. It‘s house dependent! You can generally find 12 month rent, you just need to find someone that doesn’t argue how much they could charge in summer. Then let them charge in summer and don’t move in, it‘s a trick. The best form is when you have a long term tenant and not constantly changing short term rentals, who doesn’t see that… let them. You searching?
Well done Boris. Montenegro can be a burden and heaven at the same time. My brother is moving there, working from home (IT work). Similar age like you so hopefully he enjoys it. Lack of wokeness is MNE's main attraction. Flexibility around laws, too.
@@borispoehland you do, 17:34. TÜV= car registration, mechanic has to check your car and set up up new insurance for the year. That process in English here is called car registration.
I'm an Australian who has lived in the UK for 20 years....but I've had enough. The wokeness is making me completely insane. I need to move to a more conservative, slower-paced country. Montenegro is on my list. I'd like to open a small shop catering to tourism. My concerns are as follows: 1. Medical services 2. Administrative bureaucracy and/or corruption 3. I only speak English....can I get by initially?
1. Medical services are not of the best quality 2. bureaucracy is quite OK, corruption doesn't affect you from my experience 3. yeah, you can find some local lawyers who can help you set up your business, there is quite a lot of bureaucracy associated with it, but the costs are not high, it's very difficult to find work force tho
Im born and raised in Montenegro and have lived there for 17 years before moving to Germany. Been here for 3 years now and compared to Montenegro its night and day. Montenegro is extremely behind when it comes to modernization along with the culture. Standard of living compared to any western country is terrible, right now it is somewhat okay and im glad you have moved during that era and not before, mainly because the pay was one of the worst out of any european country with an average of 300e per month. People are undoubtedly better there but crime is pretty high depending on where you are situated. Politics we wont get into due to the fact that the country did not even have a functioning parliament for a few months lmao. Anyways point being, the country was in a really poor state compared to the west. Currently its significantly better but Montenegro still has a lot of years of catching up to do with the world.
Hello, Boris...I want to know about how to open up company based residency for non-european citizen and also want to know about criteria how much long duration permanently person need to stay to secure permanent residency? Please help me or share your WhatsApp contact with me

To be honest you need to find someone that offers you a fair, low price. What‘s the timespan you want to stay 3 months?
I'm a local, forget airbnb. I can help you with that if you want. When people see a foreigner they will increase your rent xD
@@sturanovicms yep, that‘s how it works here 😄

Haven’t experienced the latter yet, seems pretty bureaucratic to me so far
Ok, I going to the American West 150 years ago. I will make sure to wear my gun and cowboy hat.❤😂😂
Hi Boris! I want to move there, but I would like to know more, about the cost of living, residency and others, can you help me?
There‘s a lot to unpack. Do you have specific questions in mind?
@@borispoehland I have already answer some of the questions but if I need more info I'll ask you, thank you for your reply 😁
100e for car registration? Wonder what kind of car that would be 😊
I‘m not mentioning car registration in this video, what are you talking about?

@@ChrisonTourand how much are you paying for that? Watch out when doing it over third parties, you‘ll end up paying more
@@borispoehland direct from my mechanic for my 2002 VW Passat I pay 300e. For 100e it just be a very small car with small engine
4:21 You need a strong character in every country, especially when you are not fluent in the language. 7:12 I will watch my wallet, Boris!!!
