Good thing for montenegro, as i Croatian i remember 2008 , about that time we finally got rid of the priminister which he stole a lot of money by selling Croatian oil compania INA...anyways, getting rid of corruption in government is the frist step, and a very good one...i support new montenegrin president here
Congratulation Mr. Presídent
One president said once : "My congratulations to Montenegro"😂

From his achievements alone, he means buissness
This is the age of young people removing old corrupt dictatorship
Beware the politician who talks so much about anti-corruption purges - they generally mean purges of their opponents, not of corruption per se.
Montenegro is highly divided country. Some 30% Serbians devoted to Serbia and 40% Montenegrins devoted to Montenegro. Serbian claim Montenegrins are just a Serbian tribe. I'm afraid he is just Serbian puppet in Montenegro. Also, Montenegro is country where people still worshiping tribes and clans...and those clans are fighting between them self, something like Camorra in Naples, Italy. So...not sure how he can exterminate it since that kind of social stratification lives deeply in Montenegrins mentality. Wish him all the best to bring this country in right path.
Montenegro is Serbia
If they share the same values as Hungary then we don’t want them in the EU! If they can show they protect press freedoms, the right to strike and form unions and the protection of all minorities in their county like LGBT+ and any religious minorities, gypsies etc then the negotiations can start but they have to show this first imo.
lmao, have you checked population of MNE? It's only 650 000 people, how can you compare it to bigger EU countries which have all kinds of agendas? People's first problem is corruption, second is mafia, do your research about clans of Montenegro --> Kavaci & Skaljari. They have incredible amount of money and power.
Get closer to Serbia and your EU path will end up in the mud as well. 😃
I BOUGHT 2 APARTMENTS IN Montenegro and was arrested when i complained that the manager was renting them out without my consent. I was brought to the waters edge in handcuffs and asked by the police if i could swim. This was the cue to give them a bribe. I didn't unfortunately so the policeman accused me of assulting him he then asked my solicitor to pay 5000 to change the evidence. I was sent to sputz prison for 30 days every single breech of human rights for detaning
a pre trial prisoner was commited. I had no bed sheets no soap or toothbrush there was no shower the toilet was broken i had no access to a library i had no pen or paper or phone call. legal papers were handed to me in prison in Serbian a language i cant speak. I had no excercise for the first 10 days along with the 5 others that were locked in the room with me. It was the most traumatic experience of my life and caused huge distress to my family. A year has passed i had a pacemaker fitted two weeks ago im 50 years old.
I have the emails from the
Montenegrin solicitor explaining to my sister that the policeman would drop the charges if i gave him 5000 Euros.
I have a war chest dedicated to getting Justice from these criminals. If anyone you know has been a victim of the corrupt Montenegrin Justice dept. please post. My aim is to get justice and keep corrupt Montenegro out of the E. U zone.
On another matter every successful Russian criminal has bought there way into Europe by purchasing property in Montenegro our average Russian criminal gets to call Montenegro home and is issued with citizenship.
Montenegro is the most corrupt country in Europe.
Interesting- but sound quality was very poor
Ukraine can fast track joining EU and Nato too 🎉🎉🎉😂.

A real bankers tie … very nice! 😊
This " bankers tie" has already achieved to bankrupt Montenegro between 2020-2021, when " bankers tie" was an "expert" economy minister.. Just for the record...
It would take three+ generations minimum to transform a country from autocratic dictatorship like the current Montenegro to EU worthy nation. Otherwise another pro Russian pro dictator Hungary. There’s no doubt. I mean he can’t just be a single contributor but he can be a start of the transformation. It would take time. I hope they have patience as it won’t happen overnight and most likely not in their lifetime. Good luck to him and people of Montenegro.

With all respect to Montenegro we should be careful about letting more Yugoslav countries in, the last thing we want is Yugoslavia inside the EU.
why is that? Croatia is already part of the EU, is that also a problem?
@@fotoz2363 Absolutely not, Yugoslav countries on their own are all fine (besides Serbia which has way to much Russian influence to be in the EU), the problem is the relation between each other.

How many years do you need to work in Russia without holidays, without days off, without spending a penny on yourself ... in order to save up like the richest Russian (getting the official minimum wage, which is massively received in Rus', outside the big cities)? ..
The cold language of arithmetic gives out:
25,000,000,000 (dollars) X 80 (rubles): 13,890 (minimum wages, net without taxes): 12 (months) = 11,999,040.08 YEARS
That is to say - 11 million 999 thousand 40 YEARS, nine months, three shifts, and another five hours and fifty two minutes of physical work! ..
Will Putin's dollar billionaires work out at least these 52 minutes at the machine in their lives?..
Dependence on tobacco smoking, alcohol, drugs - is treated by a NARCOLOGIST. And dependence on the intoxicating smell of money? ..

If Macron had a smaller brother, from a Balkan mother... 🙄
You must ask about Russians in Budva
What exactly are we supposed to do about that. They have been immigrating to our country since for ever. We share lot of cultural ties. And they play a important role as one of the main tourists groups before the war. I would like to say that it is something that’s perfectly normal for Montenegro. We cannot live isolated from all Russians if thats what you want. I would argue west has much more of Russians and Russian influence than Montenegro. Just look at UK, Germany for example. There are many businesses that have been directly linked with Russian money. All slavic countries share some ties with Russia. Also there are many families which have some extended families or friends of Russian origin. You cannot divide the hole country over one war in which we have zero involvement . We are following all Nato proposed sanctions and that is more than enough, for war that we don’t personally care about.
And your Bundestag and politicians supported Milo calling hem a democrat, just as they say Kosovo is democracy 😂

Agreed. I wonder .... Hmmm ... Do we think he's single? And if not, surely we could get the Albanian mafia to fix that for us
@@Robespierre-lI he's married and has kids
@@Grimreapercrow Shhhhh! Killjoy! ;) Now, about that Albanian mafia connection ... Alexandre? You chipping in?
Geez if he's a symbol of organised crime then surely prosecuting him isn't an 'option'. It's mandated if you believe in law and order. Does a murderer get the 'option' from the prosecution? Does the average Montenegrin citizen get the 'option' when he breaks the law. The answer is pretty academic. An option implies he's perhaps too big to be prosecuted. The same problem exists here in Australia when it comes to child sexual abuse. The abusers are in the Government, the Police, the judiciary and what have you.
You know Montenegro has only 600 000 people, probably your city has more inhabitants, everybody knows each other and there are powerful violent mafia/clans called Skaljari and Kavaci. I love it there, because it's more free than most places in the world.
@@fotoz2363 Why do you reference those clans as the Mafia? They're simply in the business of trade and commerce. A government that imposes fines and infringements is the Mafia. A Government that imposes laws to hinder your freedoms is the Mafia. A government that collects your taxes is no different to a Mafia group that practices extortion.

They wont be allowed in the EU. too close to Serbia and Russia. It will be another Hungry.
I don't know what's worse, to be a puppet of the undemocratic imperialist warmonger US or the undemocratic imperialist warmonger Russia...
Serbia should stop being super close to non-democratic Russia. The EU should stop being a slave and so dependent on non-democratic US.
That Criminal Trump is going to jail, that's good. Hopefully the other criminals such as Putin, Bush and Clinton as well.

Couldn't DW have afforded a better camera instead of this toaster
Even better couldn't people focus more on the interview?
There must be a reason. Perhaps their camera crew got lost in Croatia or maybe this interview was arranged at the very last minute.
I hope the EU isn't getting too big. Starting there own Eastern European trade zone that has special relations with the EU might be a better solution.
Do they expect net payments from the EU or is this only about open borders?
Integrate these countries into the rule based single market guarantees peace and less corruption.
that's what americans and french want, open balkan initiative under prowestern serbia, milatovic is a perfect guy to get montenegro in to this union because he is a prowestern serb. the problem is that before that serbs have to give up on Kosovo for good so Americans can cement their position in the balkans. Americans are in a hurry obviously, so things could get complicated because serbs are tired of Vucic and his secret plans.

No idea but considering a big reason as to why Russia invaded Ukraine was that Ukraine had set itself on a EU path and this man wants to join EU as well I don't think he is a Russian lemming. As far as Serbia I don't see a problem wanting to have good relations with Serbia, the Russian influence on Serbia is troublesome for sure but there is no reason to oust them in any way. NATO interference with Serbia Kosovo war did not go well with the Serbs and many still hate NATO for it and this is the cause of being drawn to Russia but I don't see it as a case to treat Serbia any worse at the moment if for nothing else then because if Serbia is in any way discriminated against then Russia will just use the opportunity to further divide Serbia from Europe leading to nothing but trouble.
👍
Interviewer said if he's Pro-Serbian? 70% of Montenegro are expressing themselves as Serbian people. Why such an effort to paint Serbia in a "bad way" and siding us, Serbs, with Russia?
Serbia is ignoring the sanctions against Russia. Serbia allowed Russia to propogate problems in Kosovo recently and it was Serbians who Russia sent to Moldova to cause problems there last month. Serbia is basically a smaller Belarus.
