Even though I sold it and bought a Model Y, I still really liked it overall. If they could do something with that user interface and add some more storage. They're mildly "f'd" with the MEB platform though.
What??? That’s dangerous af 💀 My Tesla YLR also tries to kill me when autopilot is enabled. It sense ghosts and crap that doesn’t exist in front of the car then slams on the brakes for no reason. Phantom braking is real. Does that happen to you too?
I sold the ID4 and bought the MY. ID4 wouldn’t brake randomly, but it would bounce back and forth between the lines. The MY autopilot has been pretty good so far. No braking for me…..yet. Much smoother on turns too.
The bleeding edge is always fraught with bugs and issues. That was your decision to purchase Lanky. -- Unlike some of us that we're forced into that foamy mess of a CPAP machine - that tried to kill us - Phillips Respironics. -- I think that qualifies as a "burn" to the new kids out there? :P LOL
Right on, Jason! It's my only complaint about the car after a year of ownership, and a real PITA. Probably get picked up for DUI after only 63 years of driving without causing an accident.
Hi, Jason! For the last 4 years I had a Buick LaCrosse with lane assist that would do the same thing. I've noticed the same issue, but not as bad, on my id.4. Can't you turn travel assist on and off via the lower right "button" on the left side of the steering wheel? Hitting it toggles between "ACC Mode" and "Travel Assist Mode" on my car.
Yikes ! There had to be a ton of research into the lane assist feature , you would think it would work better . Question: Is the lane assist feature ever a positive experience? Does it ever assist you in a way that you like ?
Dude, love these videos as I’m thinking about buying an ID.4. Good to know all the crazy things that you bring up before I buy. Thanks!

@@Freecpapadvice it mostly happens on long stretches of country roads and it’s legit terrifying lol
Excellent..minutiae
I'd be interested in the ID.4 if it didn't seem so unbaked.
Oh, and you look so much like my brother, it's scary.
I have a id4 with 3.0 and i think lane assist is awesome (got no blue lines in my country).

on my 2022 ID4 lane keep is off by default, and doesn't come back on. Hopefully if 2021's get 3.1 soon it will be similar.

I think that button is the Climax button…don’t hit it!

Can we sue tesla for auto collision I hate it especially on traffic in San Francisco area, little tap and the car stops completely
Most electric cars do that, the Fiat 500e does the same thing I hate it
I had my ex who did the same thing... does that count?😑
vw evs arent good choice yet tbh
How about a gas powdered car to drive electric cars of the road
