Shred chicken. Add pasta. Enjoy ! We serve with garlic knots or Texas toast and a side salad. All ingredients from aldi and so delicious @

Aldi cranberry chicken salad for a quick lunch (I like the mini 4 pack) and they have snack packs of mozzarella balls (three balls per pack) are the perfect quick snack with tomatoes

The sausage is near the milk and yogurt with the bacon the refrigerator section at my Aldi is bacon/sausage, butter margerine,sour cream, chip dip, flavored coffee, coffee creamer, milk and eggs, hope that helps.❤❤❤❤
My husband and I weekly meal plan and we find it helpful to write the meals down in a shared note on our phone so we can reference separately when texting about dinner and we check off the options we've made

We Love Aldi too and thankfully our Meijer is basically right across the street from Aldi so I’m always hitting up both. We get all our lunch meat, sliced cheese, salami from Aldi. The ground Italian sausage for the tortellini soup is near the fresh fish and pork items.
I love the Italian loaf bread from Aldi! There’s only like 4 ingredients. They are super good for grilled sandwiches! Only bad thing is they go bad pretty quickly so I’ll put it in the freezer a lot of the time.
Pro tip for Aldi 😂 put your bags in the trolley at the register and put the groceries straight into the bags at the tills , it saves having to pack them again 😊

This soup is so delicious and a crowd pleaser. I just make it without sausage and sometimes add peas. I have made it for people who don’t like soup OR pasta and they loved it

Corn is a veggie. It’s just a high starch veggie . This is true of potatoes too. That’s important for people who are things like diabetes but they are still veggies. It also is why they are on the starch section on the MyPlate by the USDA.
This been awhile so idk if ull even see this comment.. but as someone who is my moms shopping partner.. i would suggest getting yourself some insulated cooler bags and reusable ice packs for when ur grocery shopping. That way u wont hav to worry about ur ice box/freezer items going warm. My nephews LOVE brioche bread from walmart so they are a staple in our household n are bought weekly ❤
Hi Kessica, do you use a chopper? I use one and now my daughter who is much older eats it all. I also put my onions and garlic in the food processor and all other veggies in the chopper by the time the veggies cool sometime you can barely see them. I also hide carrots and green peppers or sweet peppers and very small chopped carrots in our taco meat and she doesn’t have a clue!!!! Don’t worry their palate will change everytime they try something new more than once. Then they will be eating you out of your house😅 Have a great day!!!
🍎🍎🍎 I buy crushed garlic from Target and chopped onion from Walmart. I ain’t got time to do it myself. It’s saved me a lot of time cooking and it’s saved me from having garlic smelling hands and my eyes from burning!
We LOVE the street corn dip. I also enjoy a lot of their cheese selections. The mozzarella is actually pretty great. We always get the multi grain tortilla chips as well. Crowd favorite!

🍎🍎🍎 Aldi does carry the roll of ground sausage, it's in the refrigerated section where the hot dogs and bacon are. But it's all the way at the bottom so it's easily missed. The packaging is tan and brown I believe. Also, the good chocolate chips(actually they are chunks) are in a black bag with red writing. They don't always have them but they are delicious!!

We use pitas for pizza, so that could be a good alternate if you can't find puff pastry. Also you set off my Alexa and added something to my shopping list. 😂

Best "homemade" sloppy joe recipe that's super easy and delicious. 2-3lbs of ground beef (about 2 1/2 lbs is best) diced onion super small and diced green bell pepper super small. Saute onion and pepper and then add ground beef. Sloppy joe mix: 1 can tomato soup, 1 bottle chili sauce (you find it right next to the ketchup and cocktail sauce), 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of white vinegar. Once meat is browned, drain meat and mix in sauce. Simmer for 10-15 min and serve!
Our kids and grandkids probably ate the same 5 things growing up. They picked at everything else. Which was fine with us because we’re not big cooks! The menu idea sounded good to us but rarely ever worked out.
Veteran Aldi shopper checking in! They have pork sausage in the coolers by the yogurt. One door has yogurt/butter/cream cheese ...the other has bacon and sausage. It's usually on the bottom shelf!

I don’t necessary have a single favorite Aldi item, but I live pretty far from one and it rarely makes sense for me to go there. I grew up going to one with my parents so it’s sad I don’t make it there often. So when I do get to go it’s very fun!!!🍎🍎🍎

Hi Jess! The sausage is in the same cooler as the bacon at Aldi Edited to add…you guys should visit the Fair Life farm in Indiana. It’s called Fair Oaks. It’s prob about 2 hours north of Indy right off I65. I took mine when they were little and there’s so much to do. I recommend their harvest festival in the fall. Also the hotel is fun too, the rooms are farm themed. Edited to add again … 🍎🍎🍎 Also, try the chocolate brioche buns. They’re exactly like Starbucks (imo). Put them in the microwave for 10 secs and they’re a delicious quick dessert.

In most areas I believe the Aldi ‘Irish Butter’ is actually made by Kerrygold.. check the ingredient list, but it could be another easy money saver!

Our family really likes the French Toast Brioche bagels toasted with the Aldi brand Irish butter.

Hi Kessica, do you use a chopper? I use one and now my daughter who is much older eats it all. I also put my onions and garlic in the food processor and all other veggies in the chopper by the time the veggies cool sometime you can barely see them. I also hide carrots and green peppers or sweet peppers and very small chopped carrots in our taco meat and she doesn’t have a clue!!!!
Don’t worry their palate will change everytime they try something new more than once. Then they will be eating you out of your house😅

We LOVE the street corn dip. I also enjoy a lot of their cheese selections. The mozzarella is actually pretty great.
We always get the multi grain tortilla chips as well. Crowd favorite!

🍎🍎🍎 Aldi does carry the roll of ground sausage, it's in the refrigerated section where the hot dogs and bacon are. But it's all the way at the bottom so it's easily missed. The packaging is tan and brown I believe. Also, the good chocolate chips(actually they are chunks) are in a black bag with red writing. They don't always have them but they are delicious!!
Aloha! I made this and it was sooo good! My husband was super happy, 😂. I used a jar of vodka marinara sauce instead of tomato soup. It was delicious! Thank you for the recipe.

Best "homemade" sloppy joe recipe that's super easy and delicious. 2-3lbs of ground beef (about 2 1/2 lbs is best) diced onion super small and diced green bell pepper super small. Saute onion and pepper and then add ground beef. Sloppy joe mix: 1 can tomato soup, 1 bottle chili sauce (you find it right next to the ketchup and cocktail sauce), 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of white vinegar. Once meat is browned, drain meat and mix in sauce. Simmer for 10-15 min and serve!

Our kids and grandkids probably ate the same 5 things growing up. They picked at everything else. Which was fine with us because we’re not big cooks! The menu idea sounded good to us but rarely ever worked out.
Veteran Aldi shopper checking in! They have pork sausage in the coolers by the yogurt. One door has yogurt/butter/cream cheese ...the other has bacon and sausage. It's usually on the bottom shelf!

Hey jess, if you didnt knowz if your garden tomatoes have any pink to them at all coming in you can pick them and put them in a paper bag wirh a banana and theyll be fipe in a couple days 😊 (i think you can with green ones too but not guaranteed to ripen)

My family loves sloppy Joe’s, but I prefer to make my own “sauce”. It’s very easy, using ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, and brown sugar- for the most part 😊

Edited to add…you guys should visit the Fair Life farm in Indiana. It’s called Fair Oaks. It’s prob about 2 hours north of Indy right off I65. I took mine when they were little and there’s so much to do. I recommend their harvest festival in the fall. Also the hotel is fun too, the rooms are farm themed.

Also, try the chocolate brioche buns. They’re exactly like Starbucks (imo). Put them in the microwave for 10 secs and they’re a delicious quick dessert.

My favorite item at Aldi, which is weirdly tough to find in other stores, is meatloaf mix. It’s a mixture of beef, pork, and veal and makes the best meatballs or meatloaf!
