I thought it couldn't get better (and I have collected transformers since I was around 11.. ) of course they were bought for me in the 80's but I learned about collectibles from my uncle early on. So I've had just about every Optimus and Megatron right before my eyes. I remember the two pack Beast Wars at Kay Bee Toys and later the Machine Wars! (Well, about the same time) And thought "How can Megatron be so small?!" But we just about have a voyager scale for deluxe price the way things are these days. Sorry I'm just excited about them and I don't even think I'm going to see the movie..
Man that weird rack gun is a pain in the ass to attach on the back panel and almost feels like it's gonna break when you peg it in when using the vehicle mode otherwise both this and the Megatron toys are really nice from this movie.
I got him the other day but returned him because of the left arm undoing itself during basic posing. Despite this, i did enjoy my time with it and I plan on nabbing another copy.
I just got him as well but didn't open him.. however, my Legacy Cliffjumper from the boxset had a loose left arm. So, i ordered another one and he arrived with no accessories. Target finally settled with me, and they exchanged the box set and i was even able to keep the Cliffjumper..? I didn't want to deprive someone who wanted the two they send to every store in my area in Florida. Now I'm m worried about Optimus! I almost want to go open him now!
Buy a second one to keep in box and open the other one. I bought this Optimus last week and man I gotta tell you, it’s one my favorite figures I’ve bought recently. He’s so fun to mess around with and he looks great
I can't wait for Megatron (Studio Series version)! Im still on the hunt for the concept art version.. i chose a second Primal instead ugh.. as far as this review, i live your reviews in general! Thnk you for your hard work. I'm building my collection back for the past 5 years. Inused to have a toy store and an all Diaclone/ Transformers/ KO room. My Animated and Beast Wars section was EPIC! I love your references to episodes albeit not verbatim LoL! Just joking
@@Alex876 another reason why it was so cool! I think the human element takes it in a whole different direction. Sure, it makes the lore so vast and builds a multiverse.. but I'm NOT a Mike Bay fan. I remember getting hyped and I supplied my local theatre with transformers toys in the glass cases and where they keep the display candy but I just wasn't a huge fan. I could go through a bunch of reasons but I think the humans being a spotlight was a big factor. That and Optimus wanting to rip off faces.. not the Optimus I grew up with! Anyway, I didn't think I'd see Transformers One because I just don't think Bumblebee should be as old as Orion or Megs (whether he was built by bots that looked like the Constructions deep below Cybertron's surface or a minor who enjoyed poetry..) ! But I may just because I love them so much. Just thinking about them up to mischief and a Bumblebee the same age runs me the wrong way..
Calling all of the bay films abominations is so ignorant when they are the reason transformers got brought back from being dead and are also the reason why we’ve been able to get eveything that we have now, show some respect
the movies ARE abominations though, it only went downhill from the first movie matter of fact. however, there is no denying the great influence that the bayformers movies had on transformers but in no way did it revive the franchise as it was never dead to begin with lmao.

What you say is true, but they (excepting the first film and "Bumblebee") are atrocious.
