Anyway,the good news is you got a carrier for your E-Bike.
The bad news,it's going to have a bullseye 🎯 on it,for thieves.
I did a lot of trailer work,and saw all the thefts of you name it,if it got yanked behind a rig.
All you're going to do,is slow them down,if they want it.Get it insured through a home owners policy.
But, anyway,heres the slow em down part.
#1, With any ball mount,or mount in this case,ALWAYS lock it to receiver. In keeping with the Harbor Freight/Haul Master theme,the 5/8 inch Hitch pin lock,for 2 " receiver, from Haulmaster, is part # 95831, cost about $10,at Harbor Freight.
I just bought one for mine.
Of course,if someone is hauling a vintage Corvette on a car hauler,you want to spend a lot more $$$ on all points of security devices.
#2 You need a heavy cable lock,to run through bike frame+ secure to carrier.
#3 You need some heavy rachet straps,not the little cheap ones,to secure bike to carrier.More the merrier.Always do safety checks on straps,when stopping during drive.
If you can mount it tight to rear tire,that's better than a extension (Always avoid extensions if possible).That way,you can secure it tight to tire mount,and pad it,to eliminate forward movement when braking.
More locking points the better,but remember,you're just slowing them down

OMG. Can't believe she did that. When I was doing a class I had a section on values. I used Wells Fargo and CVS. Wells Fargo pressured their people to get X amount of new accounts. Because of that pressure a bunch of employees made up fake accounts so the could hit their number. Now they did wrong but it almost is an expected reaction to what Wells Fargo did. Back in 2014 CVS bosses made the decision to stop selling cigarettes. They stated that as a health care company cigarettes go against their stated mission. This obviously cut into sales and profit but they made the correct call. I had a few more examples too. Maybe look at getting a job at CVS. I bet they would be happy to have you. One last example although they have slipped some in their overall quality recently. I was doing a conference and one of the other speakers was from Kwik Trip. He had a really nice presentation. Of interest when they interview they ask what nice thing have you done for someone else in the last thirty days? Great question and sets the expectation for the prospective employee. High Thursday 48 degrees. Getting close to leaving time.

I’m sure you have thought about locks for your bike when it’s on your rack. Don’t forget about a lock for your bike rack that fits in the receiver hole on your van. I'm the same way. I've got 2 credit cards in my dresser drawer that I've never used. If I don't have the cash, I save for what ever I want. Get TWO different bike locks. You can't stop anybody from stealing your bike, all you can do is slow them down. Whenever you aren't on it, LOCK IT. AL

Now, as far as the Walgreens situation, look into Minn. Stat. § 181.79, subd. 1(a). and see if you have a case.
Great job putting it all together!! Wooo! They have locks to use for the connection to the receiver hitch and bike rack you might use to keep your bike safe and on your van. Check out those super locks made of chain with a protective material over them to keep it locked on too! 💪🏼🎉🎊🚴🏽. Yeah the whole “credit” rating system blows!!

What!?!? They took the money out of your check for a uniform you didn't need. Oh my goodness TracEy, I would be 😡 angry. No Thank you for ANOTHER credit card, to get deeper in debit. $8,000.00 to get a tooth fixed, WOW! Yup, let it go, just a few more weeks, hang in there! 🙂
Call the nice people at your state attorney general's office about Walgreens illegally not paying you your full wages. It's open and shut that they have to pay you for your work, and that they can't just take stuff out of your pay which was not supposed to be taken out of your pay.
It sounds drastic to escalate it that high over $75, but the AG will view it as $75 x thousands of people, a corporation abusing hard-working citizens/taxpayers. A few words from the AG's office to Walgreen's legal department, and I think you'll be receiving a check from Walgreens in a big hurry. Clearly some middle manager made a bad decision without consulting the legal dept.
You could call Walgreens legal dept first if you wanted to be nicer about it than Walgreens deserves. Someone there will be horrified and fix it quickly, also. But personally, I'd rather take the route that gets Walgreens in the most hot water over it.
Because they're probably doing it nationally, and politicians love fixing easy-to-fix problems like this, I'd also let the offices of your congressman and senators know about it. Amy Klobuchar in particular would surely let her staff fight to stop Walgreens from abusing pharmacy techs, not to mention becoming known as "who fixed it". Due to living in New Hampshire, I met her during the 2020 primary election season, and am convinced she's genuinely on the side of regular folks.

Please have someone inspect this installation before you attempt to haul a bike. The last two pieces appear to locking devises to prevent the entire assembly from shacking. Very important that it installed correctly.

Don’t worry Tracey, the social credit score will be coming next summer with our new CBDC. Every penny we have will be monitored by the government and if they don’t approve of what you spend it on your credit score will suffer 😢.
