Tracy, I have watched you from the word go. From finding the van already built out and you redesigning and getting the cushions recovered amid you beautiful wall tile to your cute signs. Frantically driving over the interstate while trucks driving bye, Your family story, your friend 😭, your beautiful daughter going through college finding her mate. You meeting oh my heavens you two buddies! Oh how I love them. The nudges camp! LoL the cooking shoes, the joy wonderful shows, the meetings with your friends, the fun sand dunes, the leaving the crappy law firm. Other crappy jobs, the eye surgery with the wonder doctor! Hang in there sweetheart. I am 65 living alone on ss in a 24 ft camper! Go girl! You have life and the love kindness and magic!
So sorry your sweet Mom is going through this. How a daughter could do this to her own mother is beyond comprehension. Good for you Tracey for stepping up and helping your mom right this wrong. Best wishes to all of you!💕

It's the van life, that had me watching your video's, and the video's on what it was like travelling on your own in a van. I will hope one day you might try it again, but whatever it takes to continue in a happy state, is what's important in life. Thanks for the heartfelt videos.

All the best in the fight for your mom. Elder abuse is awful, been going through something similar with my mother in law, and she was almost evicted from her nursing home. The stress eats away at you while the other person just seems to not care at all, or even worse, blames you. I can’t wait to see you in Charlene again! Take care. So sad this is happening to joy. That’s terrible. Things that family do. My mom went through a thing after my step dad died. Her relatives wanted to come over to the house to “ help” her. I knew they were up to no good. I caught them, and luckily stopped them. We changed the locks, alarm code, installed cameras etc. it was so stressful. Now she lives much closer to me,and we haven’t seen them in years. I didn’t care, but I know she was hurt. Thankfully they don’t know where she lives now. Justice for joy! ❤️👏🏻✌️and yes these were her sisters and husbands. Ugh.
They may be broke or just want to keep everything for themselves. They cannot take it with them, they have forgotten about that.

You are doing the righty thing, looking out for your mom. I do not have any siblings. My older brother died when he was a baby and mom couldn’t have any more after me. So I don’t know what it’s like to have siblings, but I have always wanted siblings. I have a lot of great friends that are like sisters to me and I don’t know a one of them that would do this to me so I can’t imagine what it’s like to have your own sister do this to your mom! How sad! God is faithful! Keep moving forward and remain in that peaceful place! I am praying for you & Joy! And for your sister & bro in law too. They need lots of prayer it seems. 🙏❤️

Good luck getting the justice Joy deserves! I have A 2001 dodge ram van Roadtrek versatile 190 as well. I believe my microwave runs on the auxiliary batteries when the generator is on. Does yours have a auxiliary batteries? Mine were located in the far rear driver side in the floor under the bed, above the the rear driver tire. There were two batteries in there. I had to lift up the carpet and unscrew a wooden lid/cover in the floor and they were in there. A huge pain to get out (had to take the bed apart) and unscrew the bed panel closest to the rear door that supports the bed to pull batteries up through to get them out. I remember ours working when the generator was on. But it’s been a while so I’m not sure. And the batteries are dead so I can’t test any electrical components until I replace the batteries. By the way, I mentioned in comments in another one of your videos that “The Dreamboat” (The name my mom gave the camper) was stolen about three weeks ago. But I found her a week later in mostly good condition! Hallelujah! I need to replace the driver side door lock and the ignition housing. The thieves just lived in it for a week with their dog. He was arrested then later let go due to medical reasons and they are supposed to issue a warrant for his arrest at a later date. OK! How does that work when the guys homeless? Now I might sell her and move from Oakland, Ca Back to family in Buffalo New York. Don’t know if I can deal with the winters like you After being in California 39 years. I’m a couple years younger than you. All the best.
Yes my husband passed away at 56 in a boating accident. I might’ve said it before I don’t know, but my daughter and all of them went in there and took all the stuff. I think I ended up with a couple of A shirts and a cane and the thing he used to use on his neck, not much my daughter has your stuff in her house and she won’t give the stuff back to me so I just chalked it up to life. I went looking for stuff and it was all gone by the time we found him so I can understand what you’re going throughand my kids are grown and married. They know better so when you’re on the road, how do you get paid? Do you just use your ATM card or do you have a bank? Love your videos❤
I would say you also gave up some level of spontaneity. When traveling you had to watch the time to make sure you could get to where you would spend the night while it was still light, or so that you didn't get too tired driving on a long stretch of road, etc. and not know of a place to pull over that was safe. That part had to be pretty well planned out.

Thank you for sharing this family story. My sisters bullied my parents into selling their house of 60 years and contents a year ago. They moved them to a seniors residence in the huge city of Winnipeg and they all took off and left them there. They moved again to another place. They were so distraught and "waiting to die". I was told yo buzz off so I went south in my rig and when I returned they begged me to move them back to Brandon so I did last Fall. Last winter my mom was being pressured to give away the house proceeds which Im hoping I stopped .. I figured this was about money. My sisters dont talk to me but I dont care.

Controversies within family challenges - wish all well to a favorable balance in this circle of legality 🤞. I echo everything you said about things you lose when choosing van life. I especially relate to the piece about it being mentally taxing. All the logistics and decisions of just the basics left me too tired to plan many adventures. The pain in the butt to reward ratio was way off for me. It also ended up being both physically and mentally unhealthy for me. I know there are plenty of ways to avoid that, but I just wasn't able to. I'm so sorry your family is both going through this, and being torn apart by this. It has to be so hard on Joy. 😔

My best friend’s sister has done that to her in a similar way.. it’s shameful what your siblings can actually do & be so evil.. God help her mother.
I'm so sorry you & Joy are going through this mess. It's so hard to comprehend how some people are so cruel, & greedy, with no compassion for the person(s) they are attacking. It's unfair & unjust. I can't imagine Joy's own daughter being one of those awful people. It's shocking, but not without precedent. Throughout history, we've seen the horrible individuals that took pleasure in torturing others. The quote you read is appropriate for this situation. The world is totally backwards, i.e., good is bad, & bad is good. I'm like a bobble-head doll, constantly shaking my head at the craziness. You would hope we would evolve into nicer, more tolerant, more compassionate people, rather devolving into...I don't even know what to call them. Maybe it's a mental derangement of sorts...just baffling. I know that eventually truth will win. Love to you both. Tell Joy that your subs have your backs, at least, in spirit. ❤

Yeah you gave up your house maybe you should have hung on to it I rented the rooms out for the going rate and finance the van but anyway you could make a small investment in a piece of land in a warmer climate for the winters !! There's building lots here in clearlake California for $5,000 and they'll hold the paper, monthly payment would only be a few hundred bucks, but not for much longer they just put in a Starbucks lol Get a permit for a garage and make it into a tiny home !! Hey you got to admit it's not a bad idea LOL

Brightest Blessings To You And Your Mom, l just can't understand and wonder why you did not say why you left your career and home to live in a van? Was it by choice or where you forced into it like I was? I lost my business and lost 2 lake county homes to foreclosure back in 2005-2006. Maybe include the reasons why you left/lost it all in your next video.
I took off because my sister passed at 43 from cervical cancer, her husband at 52 from a brain tumor, the day we buried him my dad had a massive stroke and wasn’t supposed to live, my other sister had strokes at 61 and my brother had just passed at 61 from colon cancer. My daughter went off to college and I wasn’t going by to wait to retire to live my life. ❤️

Maybe you gave up the drudgery of doing the same thing for so many years? Reminds me of when I left MA for San Diego in '86. No plans, just a '85 Mustang filled with my junk. Kind of adventurous but being 24, not an issue. No one thought I would do until one day I wasn't there. Never went back except to visit.

Unload the truck at Walgreens
Unloading supplies at her place of employment.
Unloading a delivery truck where she works at Walgreen's. It's the most strenuous of her types of work there. Grabbing a long stream of boxes off a gravity roller conveyor and stacking them in a receiving/storage room. It's just one of her many tasks working there, from skilled work in the pharmacy to stacking boxes.

I would stop talking about the particulars of this law suit. The more you say can and will be twisted against you and your mom’s case.
It’s been filed and is public knowledge in the complaint. I was a paralegal for over 40 years
The problem is, they twist and cherry pick, use tiny snippets against you. My atty never warned me to stay off social media, hide my profiles, not to delete posts bc it's speciation. It's part of the professional ethics of my state. They tried to use my cat blog against me. When they asked who all I'd talked to about the case, I didn't know it included my blogs, social media, youtube bc those aren't 2 way conversations. They used my GoFundMe against me and the judge agreed. My lawyer told me 2 plead the fifth on the gofundme bc of the fraud aspect. I simply didn't know that I was supposed to supply all of my posts and they argued due to my heavy online presence I was talking to dozens of people and not being truthful along with alot of other cherry picked stuff and lies, lots of lies and the judge bought it. Winning partly comes down to which atty is the biggest snake.

Seems there is a lot going on. I get it… but maybe take a holiday not everyone out here are in your corner you are rattled and you should not be publicly talking about your family. You could get sued for that you are clearly upset and passionate and it’s understandable but there is a line you shouldn’t be crossing.
Just wonder why you would approach your sister at a wake to address this issue. Kind of disrespectful to do such a thing during a loss Could it not have waited?
Because I knew I wouldn’t see her because they were dealing with everything and I didn’t want her to worry about anything with my mom
But it sounds like she doesn’t worry about your mom but at same time a wake is not the place to drudge up law suit
Anyway. Good luck. But if you have in fact been part of a legal system then you should know that until there is a resolve there should not be any thing divulged that could harm a case before it even begins.
Part of the harm comes from not telling the other side about the conversations about the case on YT, FB, online, blogs, etc. And the other side will ask and will search. Been there, done that.
