18:22 your totally right, it's very expensive and it's also poorly managed, with ZERO infrastructure! ZERO everything for the high price people pay. even those private parks are also poorly managed..i dont know, but i guess it's because brazilian people care more about malls than enjoying the nature. idunno.

      (translated by Google).
I complement the information about this tree, there is the female and the male, yes exactly that, the female by itself is born a pine cone and inside the pine cone there is a fruit called pine nuts. And what does that have to do with it. Well, every year between the months of June and July when it is winter here in Brazil, these trees enter the harvest season for these fruits, or better known here in the south as pinhão, and from this pinhão several culinary delicacies are made to accompany the season. region, (there is an immense story about this tree, which is intertwined even with the history of the mountain people, from Santa Catarina, it is so big that it would not fit here), besides this tree is in danger of no longer existing, for the simple fact that its wood is very good, in addition it is forbidden to harvest pine nuts before the right time and it is also forbidden to cut the tree, depending on the situation it can even lead to jail time, this tree takes around 20 years to grow and bear fruit. There is a party in a city close to Urubuci which appears in the video, which is called Lages, in this city there is a party that takes place in the month of harvesting the fruits of this tree, where there are several tourist attractions where many people from all over Brazil come for this region, in addition it has national shows, and traditionalists from the mountain region, in addition to the immense gastronomic amount, taken from the pine nut. In addition, the pine nuts can be with me as soon as they are harvested, the most traditional way that exists here is to roast the pine nuts with the so-called grimpas, which are the leaves of this tree that dry and catch fire very quickly, and it is extremely easy to roast the pine nuts in them and eat.

Kilo places are mostly aimed at lunch during work days. It's actually a pretty good choice of fresh, cheap and healthy food for a daily routine. It's definitely healthier than McDonald's or Subway and much cheaper and much faster than a la carte restaurant... but don't expect much in terms of quality out of it...

Urubici is around 145 km from where I live. O go there almost every year, because the nature is so beautiful. I understand Urubici considered a secret by foreigners, but in Brazil not quite. Actually, one of the most secluded places in Brazil and that has been talked about lately is Serras Gerais. @@joenandamalie Yes, Im from Rio Grande do Sul, just south of Santa Catarina. Every Region and every State in Brazil has its own touristic places. We in the south know everything about those places like Urubici, Sao Joaquim, Cambara do Sul and LOADS more. As deep as you go, more local it gets, more amazing it is. But if you ask me what to do from north of Sao Paulo State I have no idea. I would know where to go in the Northeast maybe just bit more than you guys. That explains why so many Brazilians know nothing about Urubici. Our Tourism is basically mouth to mouth. The government has no projects, nothing, anything, so... there you go. I did last year a trip in the south with some European and American friends. They were blown away. It was amazing to share everything.
But, being from the south and being a very proud Gaucho I can say. You barely scratched the surface of what the South has to offer. Much Love. 😊

In Brazil we normally don't tip, especially if the person is just doing their job, but if you ask for a favor, tip the guy...

Here we do not devastate forests, nor jungles, nor fauna, nor flora. We are the only country that preserves everything we have, which God has given us. We have cataloged 290 indigenous tribes in the Amazon, which have never made contact with civilized men, and continue to live as usual.

Wait.... there are spiders in Brazil?!!!! Are they everywhere? Are they in every city? Are they in appartments, too? I wanted to move to Brazil but I suffer from arachnophobia. :(((

"Uribici", well, "CI" sounds like "see", not "chee". But that's ok :)
