I definitely prefer the tapestry above the bed. Save all those smaller gold-framed artwork for somewhere else like a reading nook in a pleaseantly designed "random" look.
Thanks for posting. Saw you both on the TV. So sweet couple. I’m interested in how you age and upscale your prints to fit your frames. Perhaps an idea (how to) for a future video? Only if you care to of course. Best wishes to you both.
Thanks so much. Yes we plan to do a load of how to vids but will probably be a couple of months out. Chris actually used wood varnish with a tiny bit of stain to age prints that we just ordered to size online.
Thanks, and as soon as Chateau DIY has released it’s episodes we’ll be able to upload more content of the inside of the Château but we have to wait for the projects they’ve followed until the show has aired.
Wow, very tastefully done, love the tapestry and the colours. I am amazed at the skills you have both learnt ! Yo could just drape a piece of matching material over the brass curtain rail with drops each side to cover and soften it, swag style just a couple of soft twists? Is it the room you slept in initially? Xxx
Honestly? I think the picture with the women and the tapestry should trade places And a blue brocade curtains would play on that picture and the balloons
The picture of the woman is hiding a mysterious window so it has to stay put as it’s made to size but interesting idea on the curtains. We’ll keep our eyes out for some
NEVER FORGET every chateau NEEDS a RED ROOM!!! Now you have to go for the right red, nothing too fiery-orangey unless you wan't to attract some violent people when they get drunk. A bold red with a slight blue undertone, or true RED. Only 5% of men can even see the difference between red hues so ask a female sales woman if neither of you have an artists eye, even then many women are lacking in color perceptions awareness as well...think of a Christmas RED or a red lipstick...Marc Jacobs Dashing is a great color as is Chanel's Gabrielle...they are intense enough to be considered a dark color but daring enough and sexy so the room won't need to be over lit and make the inhabitants look wane and sallow....The right red will make everyone's teeth look WHITE!!!!!...and cheeks rosy, yes, all 4.
The room is very cozy and beautiful. It is a nice, peaceful calming area. Well done.Best wishes, guys. You're a sweet couple. ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
I love the hint of pink in the paint you chose for this room!! So subtle, yet so effective in providing warmth & depth!! Well done, Chris!! 🇺🇸
Thanks so much! 😊

Yes love this idea, I know just the room. This look would work well in the bureau but we are a little way of renovating that room. ☺️
Looks beautiful ❤ I love the trick with the curtains I'm going to try that. I think it does elevate the look. Well done

Well done. The bedroom looks great. Kath Annette and I will come and start work on the wine cellar. 🥂❤️xx
It’s very creepy down there at the moment but with a few touches and the addition of some wine I’m sure it’ll be magical 😉
@@chateautroiscloches we will even carry the wine down with us. In fact! We will insist on it. 😉😂❤️🥂
A nice change of pace. Your ideas have blended beautifully. A lovely room.

Thanks, Yeah I’m keen to look into how to make Vallances or cornice boxes. Might try in another room. Xx
Please don't play music on top of your Voices it's very difficult for an elderly person to understand what you're saying and I do enjoy your channel
It was the microphone recording the audio that was causing us problems for this video. Sorry about that!
Would have enjoyed much more but the audio was really echoey in a lot of it
Yes sorry we had some technical problems when we did this project. The audio should be better on our other content
Will these fireplaces work with say a flue, liner, and log burner
The fireplace in the pink room is probably a bit small for a log burner but we'd like to put a working one in the main bedroom. We love log burners!

Your bedside lamps are way too small I feel. Is that choice a British thing cause so many Brits do it. Scale of decor makes or breaks a room.
Very hard to find matching lamps that are affordable and work well. Much bigger though and they’d be prone to falling off the bedside tables
