*Thank you for watching! OH and after I did this video I finally watched FROZEN! lol it was surprisingly a sad movie! Hope you learned something..or got SOMETHING out of this! lol here's MY original music! **fanlink.to/joeynatomusic*
But can you make a reaction to brandon of panic at the disco
Yeah it is a bit of a sad movie. Sometimes on IG frozen fans edit NF songs onto frozen video clips and it fits together perfectly. So yeah, I am really a rap and hip hop guy and NF and Dan Bull are my favourite rappers. But about a year ago I watched frozen and I must say I liked it a lot. But anyway yeah cool to see you react and breakdown to these different kinds of music. Also I have a friend I know who does his own covers for this kind of Disney music his channel is Frostudio Chambersonic ( th-cam.com/channels/S3izL2pYQbNU2GPcSCrGCQ.html ) can you check out his cover for Into the Unknown? th-cam.com/video/b3QIuBFlpPU/w-d-xo.html
Now you can watch Frozen 2 😁
This is a good video! I really enjoyed it! To understand more of the meaning of this song and the "eerie voice" that you said it's out of place, watch the movie. 💖💖💖
Next you gotta react to "Show yourself"
me: focusing on how cool her magic is
him: *i love the string*
Drauzt omg XDD
SAME, I WAS LOOKING AT ELSA and he was like *I love that string* and I had to go back because I was so confused 😂
OMG YES 😂 I was waiting for that "damn that vocal tho" too
Lol!!😂

Idina: Hits the High Note™
Joey: Daaaaaamn.....that bass tho.
@J Miuna Of course, it's just funny to see the moments that people are normally drawn towards and Joey completely ignored them in favour of something people normally disregard, it makes me laugh
@@jesscork5500.. Because that's where the real magic lies.. and that's exactly what makes idina's voice more magical.. He is focusing on the roots instead of the leaf like every other do.

Chirp I know you’re kidding, but instrumental is super important to these kinds of songs! Without it it wouldn’t sound anywhere as grand 🎻
Yes he would focus to the music because he is producer 😂. In this part, details in music is also brings beautiful to main singer (idina menzel)
I have to say both music production and vocals are amazing in this song.
He already reacted to her voice in the first chorus :P
TheBrownLlamaGuy lollll
"Let's see if that little melody is going to continue through the entire song."
Or the entire movie.

That’s what I said lol
This "Into The Unknown" is like a "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" as a opening song but has popularity like "Let It Go"
But dude... You have to react to "Show Yourself", is more powerful than "Let It Go"
Agreed Ravi Asmara
TRUE I SECOND THAT PLS REACT TO IT
No way. Into The Unknown is clearly the Let it Go of this movie.
I thought Into the Unknown was the Let It Go of the movie. Show Yourself was forgettable to me, idk I left orchestra for engineering maybe im just in the minority of songs now.
@@Black2KGSR yap.. that's right Disney made it like that.. Show Yourself is a Let It Go moment in Frozen 2.. they made Into The Unknown more popular because Show Yourself spoiled the movie plot... That's why.. i think..
Idina Menzel: * smashes it *
Him: "That french horn tho!"
Nene Grey lmao ikr
😂😂😂
People have to pay more respects to the musicians. Someone's a singer? Well he's a god. But if they play five different instruments? Nah that's boring. Like What the fuck?
Um yeah... anyone who is remotely musically inclined would appreciate the intricacies in the composition and musicality of the song.
everyone suggesting “show yourself” and I’m still here just waiting for “lost in the woods” to get the recognition it deserves

That's what the goal of animation and music are, their purpose is to lead you through the story in a way that you don't necisarily need full context. If either one (or both) wasn't up to par then he most likely wouldn't have been able to figure it out

TheComicSketcher ok, and, what about it?
Another interesting music note for this song: the piano at the beginning is a reversed verse of the piano intro from Do You Wanna Build a Snowman from the first film.
I wished he picked up on that. But he didnt watch the movie. They have hints of the old soundtrack into the new one.
I knew it it was because it sounds the same at the beginning I thought I was the only one who noticed that
It'd be cool if you actually reacted to a song by Aurora herself. I've watched many of your videos and I don't think you've really reacted to anyone like her. I'd recommend The Seed, personally.

He says the music sounds "soft" yet "full."
Like....how snow feels like?
The fact that the song translates the same sensation of snow says a lot about the skill of the producers!!
eri139 this comment is quite the stretch. I wouldn’t say they wanted you to think “snow” with the music. A “Full” sound is almost always the objective when it comes to music. Big open vocals and big open sound for instruments! I don’t think their thoughts were, “let’s make it sound full cause snow is full and soft cause snow is soft.”...
He also said “trembling strength” to describe how the suspense had been building. I don’t think the objective of the music was to make you feel snow.
Everyone: frozen sucks.
**Frozen 2 gets released**
Frozen 2: uno reverse card 👌
@@ballorathedancingballerina5869 it was a normal question why are you so agressive
Frozen 2 is kinda worse in my opinion. Storywise, visually its very nice.
People only said it sucked because of how popular “Let It Go” was. Frozen 2’s soundtrack made up for that, though.
i never heard anyone complain about Frozen :v They just get tired of kids singing Let it go tbh ...
It still sucks, its just best for kids. There is nothing really deep other than the music. There is no character other than Anna also Kristof with his solo song. And I LOVE Disney. I Loved Moana and Brave.

That lonely female vocal is singing the Dies irae. She’s also the force of the movie. You should check Show Yourself.

raven arceneaux aurora sang it. The melody is from the Dies irae which is a very old melody that’s been used as a musical representation of death many times.
@@marar8045 ahh ok sorry i had no idea 😅

Your theory at the beginning about Elsa's situation on the balcony was more or less correct. Without spoiling as much as possible Elsa is still very much a loner, even as the queen of her kingdom with her family with her. In the first movie she felt isolated and alone, in this one, even though she has everything she needs she still feels as if she doesn't fully belong in her own kingdom because she is so different. This weird voice she hears is an excuse for escape and adventure and to possibly finally find out why she is the way she is.
Has anyone suggested "Lost in the Woods" yet?
Idk if anyone had suggested it. But that would be interesting.

This song is quite amazing by itself but when I watch the movie it really didn't stand out, it was too early in the movie, it was not a power song like "Let it go" was. For me "Show yourself" is the best song in this movie, you should give it a try ;)
I agree! Wasn't sure anyone else felt this, like when I saw the movie I was like oh this is the one where they're trying to replicate the popularity of "Let It Go" but I was underwhelmed, I guess is the right word. But then listening to it over by itself on repeat cause dang it gets stuck in your head I've grown to really love it.
RikyuMntRl I agree completely! After watching the movie I was so underwhelmed by the music but listening to it after I love it
1000% agree. Listening to both before watching the movie I felt that Into the unknown would be the it song over Show yourself but I was put off and kind of underwhelmed by how early on it played. It’s still a banger tho. Show yourself on the other hand is fucking amazing.

Into the unknown is like, the “Do you wanna build a snowman”, like the opening song and it also has the popularity of “Let it go”, but honestly? Show yourself is much more powerful and it’s for me, the new let it go.
It is the new let it go. I absolutely love both into the unknown and show yourself but it's obvious that a large part of into the unknown's popularity comes from the fact that it was realised before movie came out I think, and the when the movie was still in theatres Disney released into the unknown's music with movie visuals to give people a taste of what frozen 2 was bringing to the the table. Show yourself is the climax, the culmination of everything that Elsa feels in into the unknown gets concluded beautifully into show yourself. I hope people realize that show yourself deserves just as much if not more attention as into the unknown.
im multifandom okay - you legit copied the comment with 2k likes pfft
im multifandom okay Show Yourself has like the same chord progressions as Let It Go, just scrambled
The fact that he got a lot of the story just from this song shows how much thought goes into music and how knowledge can inform someone so much.
You were actually pretty accurate with the narrative. Since childhood she'd lived a very contained life because she feared her own power. But since the first movie, even though she has more freedom to use her magic, she doesn't want to put everyone in danger again to follow a yearning to test herself and discover who she really is.

Please react to more Idina! She's a Broadway legend.
Ehem LEA SAYS HI
As a Scandinavian American, I ADORE this song. The " eerie" sound is called lålning. It's how women would call animals down from the mountains and fields to be fed. Also how mothers and wives would call to children/husbands in from the fishing boats or fields for meals, or to communicate in areas where the population was small. It works really well in this song for this part of the movie. I love that little bits of my families culture is being brought to the world. But seriously, listen to lålning or another word that more people know is kulning. Check out some videos of it on TH-cam. I think you would dig it
i was SO excited for his reaction to the bridge and Idina and AURORA’s vocal trade off cause that part MAKES the song

i choked on my water because i was so confused lol
insomnia is me That’s just the really beautiful part about musical production. They leave so many hints and clues about the movie throughout many of the melodies, chords, and notes, even where and how the voices mix in with the instruments. Most people who don’t know music/don’t pay too much attention to it won’t notice all these bits of information you can gather from the music, but anyone with a keen eye can pick up the cookie crumbs left by the outstanding musicians. Music is truly another language. (And, of course, the visuals helped clue him in when he noted that she was looking into the darkness when the music swelled up)

You were pretty spot on with her feeling. This song is at the beginning of the movie when Elsa feels that she wasn't where she was meant to be and she needed to seek out where that voice come from and find out who she really is.

When he notices %99.9999999 of the stuff you didn’t even know existed after listening to the song for %90 of your daily time...
My thoughts were that the words weren't matching the musical emotions on the balcony, but that's because she was suppressing them in her words, which she then lets them go by the second chorus, so your thoughts of her being trapped seem appropriate.
The songs from this movie just remind me of theatre music which I enjoy so muchhhhh
You were point perfect on thinking she felt trapped and wanting to escape. I was impressed with what you noticed. Disney hides so many micro details in their soundtracks, it's nuts. And Idina's voice compliments it perfectly. The part where she starts to harmonize with the voice spoke to me. She was no longer ignoring it, but dared to embrace it. She was getting in touch with her power enough to reach out to that voice, connect, and feel the kind of freedom to her that it offered. It took her already apparent need to escape and launched it into space. She got a taste of what she's been looking for all along, and what fulfills her and makes her happy.
Also, if you're a fan of classic rock ballads (think some Queen here - you'll recognize some homage shots in the clip), then you'll love Kristoff's song. Josh Gad gets his time to shine, and it's glorious.

I can still not get over that animation towards the end, makes me so excited everytime. Disney always outdoes themselves. They really do.
Into the Unknown is a song about how Elsa keeps hearing a voice in the distance and wants to follow it because she knows/feels that something or someone is out there.
I hope that helps some of you understand 😋
I think the piano melody in the beginning is a kind of throw back to do you want to build a snowman. the chords remind me of it

He was able to predetermine the movie's plot through the music😂 It's amazing.
I've seen a post at tumblr about their keen observation of the movie. They clarify that the eerie lonely voice singing "ah-ah-ah-ah" is actually Elsa's lost identity calling out to her, the missing part of Elsa she's looking for. Indeed, it started out sounding lonely, longing and eerie in the beginning as if yearning to have it complete and full and happy. As soon as Elsa began pushing herself farther away to venture, it almost seemed as if she's reuniting with her missing half. The voice then changes, sounding more 'happy' and 'not out of tune or rhythm' as to what he said, because that voice is slowly gaining Elsa's acceptance of her true self and power. There's a little bit of exchange going on that almost seemed like they're saying "Where have you been all my life?" and "I miss you" and then they harmonized, merging into one. Elsa briefly finds herself completed, overwhelmed by it which is why the voice is high pitched at the end of the song.
Credits to the person who clarified this in tumblr. I'm paraphrasing their long, long written post😂
