Scroll Saw Saturday #3 - Dragon Wall Art
A scroll saw dragon made up of 4 layers of wood using walnut and pine. It is an intermediate project, but is fairly easy if you take your time. Some rotary work is involved as well, but only if desired.
These patterns are made available on our website for free. You can download them at the link provided.

Love it. I just stared scrolling and you make it look so effortless. Great craftsmanship!
I love the depth on it, especially the wings. Cool!
Thanks. It was a nice effect. Fun to learn how to lay it out.

This was really great, I love the design w/ all those layers, good work! 🤓👍🏼
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
May I ask you for the drawings to be contained. Thank you
Super
Very beautiful design and workmanship! Thank you for providing the plan. I am going to do one for my daughter-in-law as she loves dragons. Just one quick question. Did you use 1/2" stock, and what was the final size after planing? I'm guessing that you just planed enough to smooth out the joints. Again, thank you for sharing.
It was 3/4 inch. I just planed it down where I wanted. Nothing specific. And you're welcome. I would love to see it when you are all done.
Thank you for the info. Will definitely post a pic when I'm done.
Here's a pic of the completed Dragon. I did change the coloring as I had some padauk that I wanted to incorporate. Thanks again for the pattern. www.dropbox.com/s/rfnyoy0dv0p1z4o/20171031_142734.jpg?dl=0

Don't mind at all.
nice one again my friend !
Thanks, Kostas. Glad you think so.
did you see the triforce
Beautiful design Ryan!!! I love how you layered it. Why you always go up on the roof to do the clear?
Haha... I like doing my clear to the extreme... nah, it's the roof of a small 4ft tall storage shed beside my shop.
Yeah, I figured that..but though it was good to mention..extreme clear coating..maybe do a video of you saying you always clear coat on the roof...ok..I'm being silly...
ESCAGEDO WOODWORKING hahaha... that would be great.
Hello, this is beautiful, where do I find this saw on Ebay to send to Brazil? Thank you. John.
