Hey bud. Your vid did work on my android ZTE Z812. but it seems to kick back to the default network at random. i just go back in and switch it. not sure if it resets my data cap and then defaults back to factory network setting or what... but ya. cool.
i had a random idea... Make sure the wifi is off as u said in the video. ALSO and maybe this is just me... but i had to disable wifi, hotspot, and then go to test mode. disable radio. switch networks. enable radio. home screen. back to test mode. network saved! i dunno why my phone was that way but i got it to change permanently.

FYI: If you are with Verizon, AT&T, or Straight Talk, I'd suggest you to use LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA, LTE/WCDMA, or LTE/CDMA. I tried all 3 and all of them sped up my data by about 5 kps. HTH

ive got verizon prepaid lte unlimited data. i honestly get disappointed when my download speeds are only like 60mbps. usually i can get damn near 150 no problem. i couldnt resist posting this once i heard you you say 10mbps is "really good." no offense meant, either. chances are if thats lte for at&t, vzw wouldnt be much different in your area. it might be though
my mom has a newer iphone with a postpaid (contract) plan and i have a oneplus 6t prepaid, both on verizon. i did a side by side speed test, and i was rockin around 120mbps while hers was pushin 80. if you know anything about priority levels, contract phones are higher than prepaid. just though it was odd that the prepaid was faster than postpaid. maybe ill try the trick from the video and see if i can make hers any faster

right on, I found for Washington State the best choice to be LTE/CDMA Auto (PRL) for Verizon. While not the best by any margin, 2.43 Down and 11.0 Up beats the previous 0.23 Down and 15.5 Up or 0.70 Down and 6.80 Up :P
