First off, thanks for the valuable information. I currently have unlimited phone data and a 10g hotspot add on I pay extra for. I want to use this to so I can connect my PC to my phone for faster and unlimited data to play games online. I have installed it to my PC and phone and made the connection. The problem is that it will only make the connection when my ethernet cord is connected, which make my PC use the ethernet and not the mobile connection. I am confused by something and have watched the video many times. Do I need to turn on my mobile hotspot on my phone, Bluetooth, tether my phone to my PC with a cord or connect my phone to the PC with the WIFI connection on my phone? I was thinking that the WIFI was the way to go but when I did it there was no speed. I was thinking about turning on the hotspot, but thought that would still use my 10G data. Please help simplify it to a simple person. Thanks in advance for all of your assistance.
@@googie4854 you won't need to pay for the add on anymore after this. You need to turn on the wifi hotspot on your phone then connect your pc to that hotspot, and make sure you can get internet. Once connected to the hotspot, open pairvpn on the pc an on the phone, then connect them together like in the video, when pairvpn shows connected, you are good to go, no need to pay for an add on, you can use your hotspot without paying for additional data
Hey, i just started my Workin another City and had to move. at my Home, they provide Wlan-6 Wifi but it will simply not Connect to my PC. My Iphone and my Laptop are connected but even with Ethernet my Pc will not conecct to the wifi. Any help will be much appreciated
@@Badguldan3013 I wonder if you might have a prior IP address set. Do this, plug in the Ethernet and connect the wifi, then open file explorer, on the left side, go down to "network", right-click on it and chose "properties" and on the left side select "change adapter settings". You will see a list of connections, what do the Ethernet connections and the Wifi connections say? So one might say Ethernet, then under it, it might say connected, not connected, or say unknown network. Also do any have a red X? As far as WiFi, does that icon show any bars, and what does it say right under wifi? Does it list the wifi network or unknown network? While there, you should see an ethernet that doesn't have a red X, sine the cable should be plugged in, right click and chose "diagnose" do the same for the wi-fi connection, and let me know what the responses are after following the troubleshooter.
BRO YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE KING. Ive been living in a barracks room that has no coax adapter so I couldn't set up my modem. Burned thru my data hella fast and at&t throttled me to less than a megabyte a second. Ur an absolute life saver. Just wanna play games with the homies back home.
IT WORKS!!!! I just left a comment on your first video, but I wanted to tell you thank you so much under this video, as well. My hotspot has been super sluggish and now I'm rockin' high-speed internet.
Dude, you're a f****** lifesaver. I was about to trash this radio and buy a high-end one with a 5 GHz band. But that is all avoided because of this. You're freaking awesome. Keep doing what you're doing.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Currently, I only have access to 10Mbs DSL (but more realistically it’s about 1Mbs lol) so using a hotspot would come in handy, except for the data speed caps. This video is what I need to actually be able to use my devices at a decent speed. To be safe, I’ll probably buy a cheap phone and the $25 plan to use exclusively for hotspot so I don’t risk my main line being flagged and shutoff. I don’t use a lot of data (despite the speed limits, I can get Netflix and TH-cam etc on my Apple TV box just fine) but gaming or downloading things takes a long time. Thanks so much!
Awesome! Quick question, is Verizon '5G Home Internet' available in your area? www.verizon.com/home/ It is incredibly fast and rapidly expanding, causing a lot of companies to not even bother trying to continue with DSL services anymore. You can also get a month for free www.verizon.com/about/news/verizon-free-trial-5G-unlimited Next would be to see if Tmobile has services, they also have 5G home internet, but ONLY 5G, where Verizon has LTE, 5G, Ultra Wideband, and they offer a 3 month free trial www.t-mobile.com/offers/free-trial
@@HicSvntDracones i don’t have any 5G from any carrier where I live. Verizon HI says it isn’t available here. Neither does Straight Talk, but I was finally able to trick it with a fake address. I don’t know if Verizon would work in that way also, but I’d be tempted to try ST to at least have something consistent
hey im using pairvpn and its working good but its still giving very slow speeds with my hotspot, any way i can make it higher?? im getting on average 5-10mbps, i know my unlimited plan is definitely faster than that and i got 15gb of horspot per motnh
The only possible way I can think of, is if you use another phone or tablet, the 2nd one with only wifi on, so connect the two together via pairvpn, a cheap android should be able to do it, then turn on the hotspot on the 2nd phone and connect your pS5 to that phone, you should in theory be sharing the pairvpn connection on the 2nd phone. I've never tried it though.
Bruh ain’t no damnnn way this worked thank you bro I appreciate you so much I was about to cancel my phone plan and just get some wifi for the house this right here is Legit YOU THE MAN!
With the tunnel set up between phone and a windows 11 computer, can I then use Win11 to serve wifi to a wifi extender, and from there on to devices around the house? Or am I limited to just one client computer at a time only?
Trying to stream off of my fire stick using my personal hotspot data. Would this method work to bypass the throttling if I used the fire stick in place of a PC? I have an iPhone 15 pro max through AT&T with a 50gb hotspot plan. Thanks
Am I missing something, or is there another method required for setting up a wireless connection this way from Phone to Laptop? What would be my best alternative if this isn't possible?
Nice vid, man. It solved all my issues when doing hotspot through my phone. Just a question though, will this work on routers? I use a router at home. Unfortunately, I think the same set of rules are in play here. When I insert my sim into my router, I get around 30-40mbps. But if I insert my sim onyo my phone, I get a whopping 150-200mbps. Is there any way to disguise the router as a phone and then mask all the other network sharing devices so I get the full speed? Thanks.
You should be able to use another VPN while using Pair-VPN... However, You don't have to use a VPN to torrent. It all depends on if your ISP is one to take action, most don't. It also depends on how active you are, if you are constantly seeding or even uploading torrents, then you face issues, if you just occasionally download, then you really don't have to worry.
It has been a few months, but I had used a VPB built into my torrent client. The issue is going to be in the VPN software you use, some will work, some may not. I'll look up which ones work and get back to you in a few hours.
Im running pair vpn on my phone to pc but my connection is still being throttled anyway i could fix this issue my phone service is boost mobile if thats relevant
Yeah, you can run PairVPN on the laptop and on another device, like another computer or android device to make the tunnel. You just can't run it right on the laptop only, you HAVE to create a vpn tunnel. between 2 devices, I mean, you could potentially do it on a laptop using VMs
This looks very promising, the current plan I have is unlimited data with I think 3gb hotspot every cycle, so long as I'm connected to PairVPN on both I should be okay without being throttled after the 3gb limit? Or is this to those who are throttled to begin with? Also, when setting up the network adapters, say I want to use wifi for mine, and PairVPN is EthernetX, I change the wifi adapter drop down to EtherneX, correct? I'm completely changing to an RV lifestyle and this would truly change my life if so. Either way thanks for the informative video!
Technically you don't need any hotspot data, but it is good for when you forget to turn pairvpn on. Basically, while connected, your provider wont know your using the hotspot and you wont use up any hotspot data, it'll be just like you are doing everything from your phone. You've got the concept. :)
@@YungGun Your hotspot data shouldn't be used, your mobile data will be used. Make sure you are seeing the right data.I have a feeling that maybe it isn;t properly connected. Make sure you definitely have the PairVPN app connected on both ends, and that the on toggle switch is definitely on . (You need it installed, and turned on/connected on both devices each time you connect to the hotpsot. I have ran into some people that think just installing it and connecting it once is good enough, it isn't) If for some reason, you are sure it is connected and the hotspot data is still being counted, then maybe your phone is using a custom hotspot app that charges you while it is on, or the app itself is counting data, this is jsut a guess and I have never heard of this, but it is possible in "theory". Go ahead and try a different hotspot App, such as PDANET+ or FoxFI, then connect PairVpn and stay away from the builtin hotspt.
I'm only able to connect client on my iphone to my Android server when the iphone is connected to Wi-Fi, not my mobile hotspot. Can you only use this before you reach your hotspot limit?
As long as you can use data on your phone, then it should work. It might be possible, though unlikely, that if you are using a proprietary hotspot server included by some providers, and have used up your hotpsot access for the month, the provider is blocking all hotspot connections through that app. Make sure you are using the app built into Android or iPhone. Try using a different hotspot app, such as pdanet+ and see if that works. ALso try to simplify things, start with just your phone turn on hotpsot and then turn on the pairvpn server, and be sure it says it is waiting for connections, and doesn't give an error such as "no internet" or something, then connect your device to the hotspot wifi, and see if you get any data, then turn on pairvpn and see if that makes a difference.
Either,. Though you are limited to your wireless connection speed, and in an area with a lot of interference, that could be a lot of speed loss along with possibly causing a lot of lag. Just all depends on your hardware.. Then, if trying to share to a gaming system, just less hassle if you try to use the windows hotspot to share to a game system while being connected over wireless. Some wireless adapters won't let you do it, but most will, however, a lot of the wireless cards will only let you get half the normal transfer speed if you are trying to use them to connect to a mobile hotspot while also sharing your own mobile hotspot, basically it is 2 connections using the same card. I forget the actual mechanism that allows it to work, but I know it at least used to have quite a few downsides. Now, if you have 2 wireless adapters, then no issue. The same goes for sharing your connection to the gaming system via ethernet.
wondring if the vpn will still work from android to windows 10 pc then Ethernet output from pc to Ethernet input Linskey nodes.would i have to have vpn code for other devices connected to the nodes i have visible.wireless i have a adapter to got from type c from my phone to Ethernet to my nodes but they throttle me witch sucks because im a half mile away from a new tower and my phone speed is like 120 to 180 mbps other thing is have to unplug to charge phone
It will work without more vpn codes. You just have to be sure you share the VPN connection via the Ethernet in Windows Internet Connection Sharing, then you should be sharing the full vpn tunnel, in theory at least, sometimes it can get a bit complicated depending on your current setup, but as long as you get Internet sharing setup properly to use the VPN connection, it does work.

Hey, I’m trying to connect to Ps5 but I can’t don’t recognize the ip and give a error I used pair vpn for a few months just in PC but I can’t connect to ps5 with the Ethernet, Can you help me?
You need it connected to your pc, then you need to share your PC internet connection (the pair PC connection) to the PS5 using internet connection sharing. Try this connectify.me/ app and read this www.reddit.com/r/Rural_Internet/comments/114yok4/share_pairvpn_connection/
Visible is really locking down the network quite a lot, as many people are using it for data, but other options, like "Total by Verizon" are available at the same price range and are a bit more flexible on limits. PDANet+ should work for that, and it is made by the same people that make PairVPN. You can also try other HotSpot apps also, as the limit is within the app itself. Another option is to connect the phone to a PC via USB Tether, then share that connection via WiFI like I showed in the video, but only do that if you have issues with pdanet or other apps for whatever reason. Finally, if you are in the US, 5G Fixed wireless internet is becoming widely available from Verizon and Tmobile, with speeds up to about 2Gb/s, and pricing is dropping a lot, and if you are in a lower income bracket or on any income support, such as EBT or Medicaid, you can get Verizon 5G internet for free. I have a video that goes over some of the options for free services. www.verizon.com/home/acp/free-internet/ Total by Verizon: www.totalbyverizon.com/ Circle Wireless: circledin.com/ Mint Mobile $30 unlimited Data www.mintmobile.com/ Tmobile 90 day FREE data: www.t-mobile.com/offers/free-trial
Hi, first of all, great video. Even if I can't work past this issue, it's probably faster on average now. I set up my network so my phone plugs into my laptop, and the laptop runs into the router to feed internet to my xbox & PC. This partially worked, but the download speed is extremely variable, anywhere from nothing at all to ~50 Mb/s, and I was wondering how to fix it. Couldn't really find much information on this specific problem when I looked, and would appreciate any advice.
Not sure about PairVPN specifically, but the error code 10013 is generally due to a firewall or antivirus blocking needed socket connections. Check to see if you have any 3rd party antivirus, firewall, or security software installed. Also be sure your PC is connected to your phone over hotspot first, before connecting PairVPN.
Android V12 Moto Stylus phone. So close and yet so far. 1)install on PC and cell phone 2) activate hotspot on cell phone 3) connect wifi from W10 to android cell phone 4) activate PairVPN server on cell phone 5) activate & connect PairVPN as client on PC. PairVPN sees the connection. The connection works, but I'm still running at 5MBits because Visible throttles hotspot connections. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to tell if the connection is actually using the VPN? Has Visible/Motorola patched something?
I used visible for long time without issues and I don;t think they really can't patch it, no way for them to tell, and when they do sense something, they send a nasty email warning you: Are you SURE PairVPN is connected? like the connect switch is flipped and staying on? When it is connected, what speed is your phone getting? I wonder if you are getting a lower LTE signal where it is at and your phone is getting a slow speed. Are you using a speed tester to check the speed, or are you looking at file download speed? File download speeds over Visible do show about 5 megaybtes/sec, which is about 40 megabits/sec , max that most servers and torrents top out at, to prevent someone from sucking up all the bandwidth. Files are in megabytes, but download speed is in megabits, just an FYI. Try rebooting the PC and phone also. Oh, you don't have any other VPNs do you? No Nord vpn or anything? that could cause issues also
@@HicSvntDracones I found the issue. Thanks for writing! I run on the hotspotted PC so much that I get "used" to 5Mb/sec. Last time I looked at techniques nothing worked to cloak. Every so often Visible craps and leaves me throttled due to congestion. I've had PairVPN running for an hour and none the wiser because the stick was at 5Mb/sec. I use Ookla Speedtest. Visible sells Verizon's excess bandwidth. It can go quite low ( .5Mb/sec) but the slowdown is usually transient. When it gets stuck, it can often be cleared by rebooting the phone. FWIW: I have a directional antenna that gives me a minimum signal strength of -80, on good days (right now) I'm at -63. (Yes, it's an inverse dB scale.) Don't get me started on Visible. They are rolling out 5G in the next couple of months. They are dropping half of their freqs on their 4G LTE network, leaving me in the lurch on all my phones. After conflicting public announcements, I've verified via their support staff that it means that either I switch (Verizon, the antenna may as well be proprietary) or buying another phone. Should be interesting to see how long it takes for the carriers to deal with VPNs. This version already checks for licensing permissions on hotspotting. Oddly, this phone lets me connect multiple clients. My other Motos leave it at one.
This definitely works 100% the only thing I was wondering , I use my iPhone 14 pro max, ran to my gaming Pc then etherneted to my ps5 the only thing is that the PairVPN will randomly shut off on my Pc , is there anything I cn do to help this ? 110% best method above all either way though, I used 224 gb of “mobile data” last month lol
I ran into that problem also, and it would correct itself every so often. Try reinstalling the app maybe, but I never found a solution, just had to deal with it. I had reached out to PairVPN, but never got anything back
Hi! Very informative video. Although I have a few questions. I mainly play fps games with my phone hotspot. Now, I get decent speeds but nowhere close to the speed they promise. Will this decrease my Ping aswell? thats mainly what Im looking for. And will using this vpn resault in reaching my data limit faster than it would, without? Id love to know! Greetings
Nope, this won't decrease ping times at all, and mobile data, even 5G fixed wireless is not the way you want to go for low-latency play, you need to look for FIber optic service, most commonly sold as FFTN (Fiber to the node) which is fiber to the Central Office, then DSL to your building, or FTTH (Fiber to the home) which is direct fiber home. A cable modem, and then standard DSL would be the next fastest latency. Ping times are all about how long the signal physically takes to get from point A to point B, and wireless is some of the slowest, which is why you want to avoid using Wifi for gaming, and instead, use Ethernet, and use USB Mouse/Keyboard instead of Bluetooth/2.4 Ghz wireless. All this will do is give you full speed, which is generally going to be about 75% of your actual speed you see on your phone, which can be anywhere from 20 mb/s to 140 mb/s depending on service, signal strength and etc. The reason to use the app, is because if you aren't paying for hotspot data, then you get limited to about 5 mb/s, which is DSL speeds. This lets you bypass those speeds without paying a crazy amount to the provider for data you already paid for....
@@ihackapple2525 Not ass long as the PairVPN app is open and connected, as far as the provider is concerned, you are merely using mobile data from your phone only, they can't detect any of the hotspot use

You should be able to, it is an android App and Firestik is Android. You need to download it straight from the website then sideload it though, so you will have to google how to sideload, it is fairly easy, they even have an android app that can do it automatically, but too much to explain here. I can’t get it to work. under connect to new server on the app on my pc it keeps saying “internet connection failed (12007) on your computer” It won’t work unless my computers connected to a wifi or do I have to connect my computer to my phone hotspot first?
You have to be connected to the hotspot first. PairVPN makes a vpn tunnel to the phone, which requires a connection to the phone. If you aren't using USB tethering, then you need the Hotspot on the phone turned on and the PC connected to it.
@@HicSvntDracones I'm tethered via usbc and it still says internet connection failed 12007. if i have my isp service plugged in via ethernet it seems to work. as soon as i unplug my isp ethernet cable and just have the phone tethered to the pc via usb c, it says internet connection failed 12007. im using google pixel 7 with walmart family mobile throught verizon. pleas help. my isp is trash.

When i use PairVPN i do get high download speeds similar to my phones, but only for like 5 seconds a time and then the speed drops to 0 for several full minutes, defeating the entire purpose of me using it in the first place. Any idea what causes this?
Does it do this when doing a speed test, and what speed test are you using? Try this: speed.cloudflare.com/ or try an actual download through a browser. Some speedtests don't work well with high-speed conenctions
DHCP is an auto assigned IP address, netmask, and DNS. Does it say that on the phone or your computer? SO, when you connect to a network, you need an IP address. Instead of manually entering it, a DHCP server usually provides an address, along with netmask, and sometimes DNS, with one not in use. We can set it manually if we need the IP to stay the same, such as for a server. Most likely, either something is wrong with the network on windows, and it isn;t picking up the address, or the option got changed. First, connect to the hotspot, but don't turn on pairvpn, and see if everything works, make sure the wifi doesn't have a a x or anything over it. If you can get to the internet, then all should wotk, maybe reinstall pairvpn. If it doesn't work before pairvpn, My bet is on just an error, and a reboot should fix it hopefully. Reboot the PC and you can try the network troubleshooter. If that doesn;t work, be sure the network is set to automatically obtain an address. This site shows how to set a manual address,. just do the opposite and make sure it is set to 'automatically obtain' rather than set to manual. www.howtogeek.com/19249/how-to-assign-a-static-ip-address-in-windows/ I would reboot the phone and pc first, especially if this jsut started happening, as sometimes errors can happen and the network stops working right, so a reboot is your first option. The network troubleshooter in windows is also pretty good at doing this. Read this also: geekchamp.com/how-to-fix-dhcp-not-working-in-windows-11/

Great video! However, im stuck on the last part trying to make the pairvpn connection wirelessly (without Ethernet)Can you make a short video on it please?
From your computer, or do you mean to a game system? If you are referring to a console, give me a few days, it is actually something I get requested a lot, but I game on PC and don't have a console to use in a video, however I think I can put something together. Wifi is also going to be the harder method, just a FYI, on the PC, you would be using one wifi card to receive and then reshare a connection (unless you have 2 wifi cars or dongles). Going USB from the phone to the PC first is the best way to do it.
I never had to use any VPN or proxy server with my own previous phones when ACP was still on. But I do with my hubby's unlimited data account! But yes the proxies & VPNs work so much more efficiently than reg hotspot does!! With his hotspot, I only got 20GB month. I swear that burns up in less than 2 weeks. Any video/movie streaming - gaming - or heavy music streaming, burns up data like crazy! Checking websites, checking emails or messages, researching the internet, reading news etc. doesn't burn that much but the others definitely do!
Yes & No, I covered this in the video, but any VPN service will bypass speed limits,. but when I tried them, I instantly got a notice on my phone that I was violating terms of service and could have my service terminated. The reason is because the tunnel goes across the internet, so they can tell a tunnel is in use, and more data than a normal phone uses th is flowing, and they can also see the TTL of the tunnel doesn't match the phone, which screams, using a vpn to bypass limits. PairVPN stops the tunnel at the phone, so the provider is none teh wiser.
Yes, but not natively, and you need a PC or a second phone or tablet. As described in the video, you need to connect pairVPN to your PC, then turn on internet connection sharing (hotspot if using a second phone) and share the PairVPN connection, which you then connect to your PS5. A few people have gotten it to work. I game on PC and don't have a console, so can't demonstrate it any better, but quite a few channels show how to share your internet connection from a PC to a PS5, it is basically the same thing
All I have is my Android phone and nothing else. I just really wanna bypass my MH to continue to use my phone as a Hotspot for certain consoles. Do I have to have a laptop or is it ok with just my phone? Edit: It also says it won't work with my phone. Guess I'll call Metro tomorrow and see why they limit my MH when I literally haven't missed a day in 4yrs.
Hotspots are usually limited for network performance, mobile networks were built for low data use, such as what mobile devices generally use, and people using them for streaming 4k videos, or other bandwidth-intensive apps can cause the whole system to slow down. Newer systems don't have that issue, so I figure hotspot limits will go away eventually as many are being geared towards fixed wireless service also. If your console cant run pairvpn, then you need something that can. One option is to get a 30-day free tmobile hotspot test drive, that gets you a month of decent service, and includes a free hotspot router, which MIGHT work, you can put your sim card into it for data use, and sometimes those dont get hotspot limited, sometimes they do. www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/test-drive-hotspot Perhaps look into getting Verizon 5g Home internet. It is $60, or $35 if you get a verizon voice line. Also, if you are low income at all, such as receiving EBT or medicaid, then you can get it for free www.verizon.com/home/acp/free-internet/ the federal ACP program works for any provider also, so might be helpful for other services also, IF you are in the US.
You would have to connect pairvpn to a pc, then enable network sharing on the PC's ethernet port and plug that ethernet into the routers WAN port. Should work, though a pain. Might want to look into just Verizon 5G home internet for multiple devices, if your on a low income, you can get it for $10/month, else its under $80 for up to a gb/s if abailable.

I'm really not sure, I haven't dealt with mobile hotspots much, but this is really focused on android phone hotspots, since that is sort of what the app was designed for. I'm not even sure if hotspot routers are speed limited or not, as it is the only function they provide. You can test it out and see if your speeds are reduced when using it, then let us know
@@HicSvntDracones it’s just weird, on my iPad it reads 100MBS when I do a speed test, but in practice, when watching youtube or trying to play a game it feels much slower.
@@zLusso That is due to how the internet works, it isn't one service, it is a mix of thousands and thousands of different networks of varying quality. When you speed test, you are testing from the closest location with a very large pipe, giving you the speed from your provider to you, in reality, your connection might have to travel a very far distance, over a variety of different connections, depending on where the server you are connecting to is at, and if one of those is slower or overcrowded, you get lower speeds, you are also limited to what the servers can run at, and even like with TH-cam, they use traffic shaping to reduce speeds for certain users so that the speed can be leveled out. I am running on an average 700 mb/s Verizon UWB and I occasionally have TH-cam slow down, and try to set my quality at 480 or so, but then it jumps. My downloads also usually max out at 5-20 mbs, being the max the servers i am connected to will deliver. So you are fully reliant on the thousands of other networks you travel over to get to the source. and return, some of which might be limited to 100 mbs or even 5 mbs at times, which is then divided among everyone else. Gaming varies heavily depending if teh server is hosted by a user or a company, but you still have all the individual users speeds to consider if it is multiplayer. As more people get more speeds, things will get better, but right now, most of the world is still on 5-20 mb/s or lower. . High speeds are also really designed to allow multiple things to happen at once, such as watching video, while downloading, while someone else is gaming,, rather than letting you do one thing at crazy speeds.
@@HicSvntDracones that makes a lot more sense now. I was confused cus I always thought my internet was decent, and in practice it kinda sucked. Where do you see the error? In the PairVPN app? You have to be connected to the wifi hotspot on your phone first, once you have internet access on your PC, turn on PairVPN on the phone, and then on the PC and connect, then you get the bypass speeds.
usually a connect error 110 means that the server timed out, if that helps. First, make sure your apps are updated, disable and turn back on your hotspot, uninstall + reinstall, stuff like that. If its not fixed, then I would try emailing the devs!!! www.reddit.com/r/PairVPN/comments/15g3os7/ask_anything_thread/
Btw, I can’t believe this worked, I thought for sure it wasn’t going to work, but I tried it and it does indeed work. Thx for the help. Now I can play Minecraft online without lag!! 😊.
Not all phones have access to all files on Play Store, if the phone doesn't match the processor/OS requirements, then you won't get access via the Play Store. That is why you can download the APK direct from PairVPN, so that you can manually install it. (you can google how to install an apk on Android) You can download the APK at pairvpn.com/bin/
So what I had to do is use this VPN to bypass the hotspot throttle but I have to use Another VPN to actually bypass my phone's throttle lol the speedtest says i get 300 but it actually throttles me when watching videos but when i did the 2 VPN thing it worked perfectly thanks!
Yeah, Pair-VPN still lets the provider see what type of data is going over your connection, just not where it is coming from, letting the provider throttle video. A lot of providers are starting to stop throttling, or offer non-throttling plans, such as Verizon, can always try moving providers also.
Setup and activated PairVPN, setup connectify hotspot, but still having problems connecting to PS5. The PS5 successfully obtains IP address, but fails to find internet connection. Anybody else have this problem or any ideas how to fix it?
You are making a connection from the PC to the PS5, and if you have internet on the PC, then you have a connection from the phone to the PC. So you need to focus on the part in between the 2, usually it is due to sharing the wrong connection, make sure you are sharing the right connection. You might have to experiment with the connection you are sharing. You want to share the PairVPN connection, not the hotspot connection wifi, but different software can have it laid out that looks different. Also, try connecting PairVPN and the PC using USB rather than Wifi, or go Ethernet from PC to PS5, you can run into issues by doing too many connections over one wifi adapter, such as PC to phone, PC to PS5.Try these threads, and try asking on Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Rural_Internet/comments/114yok4/share_pairvpn_connection/
Yup, but if you dont get a code to verify, restart your pc, and then wait a few moments and it will pop up when you try again. Also if you get a 120007 or 120002 error code where its not connecting to internet, see if you have any firewalls active, deactivate all firewall settings, it should work, and then i activated the firewall just to see if i can still use the internet and works just fine. Ive been trying to find a solution to use my phone data on my laptop for school OTR and other stuff like light gaming but struggled for the better part of this week. I cant justify paying anything for data/service that i am already paying for...phone providers wana charge you for the hotspot plan which is outrageous and pricey and then if you dont have your device they will lock you in a contract for 2 years to pay off the already expensive device...i hope ppl find what they are looking for...love, peace and chicken grease!
Get a better internet connection. Ping times are how long it takes a packet to reach the server. Different things affect it, the distance, the type of connection, and the amount of hops, or equipment (Routers, switches, firewalls, etc) on the way. You can't do much about Ping times, beyond tweaking your internal network. Don't use wifi, and run your PC or game system directly into the modem/router, but once it hits the modem, you can't control it. Do a traceroute to see what the ping for each hop is, then you can determine where the issues are at, and if your router is somehow adding to it. You should run it from your PC. On windows, open command prompt and type "tracert webaddress or ipaddress" an Example is: tracert youtube.com which returns something like 1 1 ms 2 ms 4 ms 192.168.0.1 2 32 ms 32 ms 29 ms 68.sub-66-174-30.myvzw.com [66.174.30.68] 3 49 ms 35 ms 39 ms 56.sub-69-83-165.myvzw.com [69.83.165.56] 4 * * * Request timed out. 5 62 ms 39 ms 38 ms 147.sub-69-83-165.myvzw.com [69.83.165.147] 6 * * * Request timed out. 7 47 ms 34 ms 41 ms 168.sub-69-83-161.myvzw.com [69.83.161.168] 8 54 ms 24 ms 30 ms 176.sub-69-83-161.myvzw.com [69.83.161.176] 9 53 ms 40 ms 37 ms 183.sub-69-83-160.myvzw.com [69.83.160.183] 10 * * * Request timed out. 11 47 ms 34 ms 38 ms 204.148.55.170 12 58 ms 38 ms 39 ms 142.251.69.89 13 36 ms 36 ms 37 ms 142.251.66.109 14 40 ms 35 ms 39 ms sfo03s24-in-f14.1e100.net [142.250.189.174] Trace complete. Smart TV's are sort of dumb, as you can't really upgrade them, though you really cant get dumb TVs anymore, but just get a cheap one, then get an actual FireStick or use a PC for content, that way you always have the latest hardware and software. Anyways, you should be able to use this with a Smart TV as long as it has an Android based OS, like the FIreTV. However, 5MB/s should be enough for streaming
Yeah, it uses your data that's for your phone instead of thinking it's a hotspot, so my plan is unlimited with 50 gbs of high speed and 15gbs of hotspot. When I use this it thinks I'm using the 50 high-speed and then it'll stay on that instead of hotspot
@@james8599 Just run PairVPN like the video shows, it is very simple, and it does exactly what you are looking for, you get unlimited data on your hotspot
I like what you're stating except I'm not understanding if I've already got a VPN on my ANDROID why do I need to share the sane VPN on my computer when downloading ? My phone is the internet provider and my computer is not and is not gathering data from my SERVICE INTERNET PROVIDER. Please explain. Thank you.
The video explains it fairly well, I think. So your provider will limit your hotspot speeds to your computer to about 5 mb/s unless you are paying extra for hotspot access. If you want to get unlimited speeds, without paying additional fees, then you need to hide that your computer is using any data, from the hotsot, you can do this by using a very short vpn tunnel, one between the computer and phone only, so that all data looks like it is coming from the phone, the VPN and any data going over it can't be seen by the provider as long as it terminates before hitting the internet, you can do this with PairVPN. A regular VPN wont work, because the provider can still compare the TTL of packets to tell that you have an extra device using a VPN, that is why the VPN needs to terminate before the Internet, where your provider can detect it

Thanks.
What alternatives do we have for torrenting if we're unable to utilize a different VPN?
You should be able to use another VPN while using Pair-VPN... However, You don't have to use a VPN to torrent. It all depends on if your ISP is one to take action, most don't. It also depends on how active you are, if you are constantly seeding or even uploading torrents, then you face issues, if you just occasionally download, then you really don't have to worry.
If I have the PairVPN client turned on my mobile device, I cannot use another VPN. How were u able to get it to work?
It has been a few months, but I had used a VPB built into my torrent client. The issue is going to be in the VPN software you use, some will work, some may not. I'll look up which ones work and get back to you in a few hours.

Hi! Do you know if I can also bypass the limit by using the sim card directly to my laptop with a card reader?
Yeah, you can run PairVPN on the laptop and on another device, like another computer or android device to make the tunnel. You just can't run it right on the laptop only, you HAVE to create a vpn tunnel. between 2 devices, I mean, you could potentially do it on a laptop using VMs
What the name of the app i need to download on andriod phone
@@HicSvntDraconesBut my hotspot data is still being used though. What can I do to fix that?
Weird question, can this work with usb tethering? Or wireless only
wireless only
A troubleshooting video that actually solved my problem? NANI?? 100 internets to you sir, thank you so much!
Not sure what the matter is, but I cannot seem to get the client to give me a code.
My man, you are immense
Do you have to tether or can you do it wirelessly?

Any help with bypassing the 1 device limit for hotspot on visible?

@@HicSvntDracones Just double checked, and it says that I was sharing my connection from PairVPN
I'm trying to share my data on iPhone with my PC but I'm getting local connect error: 10013. Have no idea what to do
Not sure about PairVPN specifically, but the error code 10013 is generally due to a firewall or antivirus blocking needed socket connections.
(Yes, it's an inverse dB scale.)
Don't get me started on Visible.

You should be able to, it is an android App and Firestik is Android. Huge thanks worked like a charm
Was working fine and first but now it says "VPN adapter ready, waiting for DHCP..." What's that mean??

Can you do the same thing with any VPN service?
Yes & No, I covered this in the video, but any VPN service will bypass speed limits,. but when I tried them, I instantly got a notice on my phone that I was violating terms of service and could have my service terminated. The reason is because the tunnel goes across the internet, so they can tell a tunnel is in use, and more data than a normal phone uses th is flowing, and they can also see the TTL of the tunnel doesn't match the phone, which screams, using a vpn to bypass limits. PairVPN stops the tunnel at the phone, so the provider is none teh wiser.
Thank you very much. It seems to work on USB-Tether as well. Now i can actually boost my Steam downloads when my poor coperwire is dying again.
Can u use this on ps5
Yes, but not natively, and you need a PC or a second phone or tablet. As described in the video, you need to connect pairVPN to your PC, then turn on internet connection sharing (hotspot if using a second phone) and share the PairVPN connection, which you then connect to your PS5. A few people have gotten it to work. I game on PC and don't have a console, so can't demonstrate it any better, but quite a few channels show how to share your internet connection from a PC to a PS5, it is basically the same thing

YOU ARE AWESOME DUDE
Thank you so much all worked perfectly
Any way to use pair vpn to a router?
You would have to connect pairvpn to a pc, then enable network sharing on the PC's ethernet port and plug that ethernet into the routers WAN port. Should work, though a pain. Might want to look into just Verizon 5G home internet for multiple devices, if your on a low income, you can get it for $10/month, else its under $80 for up to a gb/s if abailable.

On the other phone, open Pair VPN and pair to the Pair VPN server on the Visible phone. On important thing, if the other phone (non-visible) has data services from another service, turn them off. I have a hotspot thing from school, it was given out during the pandemic and I just kept it for home internet, is there a way I can do this with that device thing?
I was confused cus I always thought my internet was decent, and in practice it kinda sucked. as long as it is connected by PairVPN, it will appear to be only phone data.

Why am I getting a 110 error message after trying to connect?
Where do you see the error? In the PairVPN app? You have to be connected to the wifi hotspot on your phone first, once you have internet access on your PC, turn on PairVPN on the phone, and then on the PC and connect, then you get the bypass speeds.
usually a connect error 110 means that the server timed out, if that helps. First, make sure your apps are updated, disable and turn back on your hotspot, uninstall + reinstall, stuff like that. If its not fixed, then I would try emailing the devs!!!

🙏 🙏 🙏

How can I get better ping in video games?
Get a better internet connection. Ping times are how long it takes a packet to reach the server. Different things affect it, the distance, the type of connection, and the amount of hops, or equipment (Routers, switches, firewalls, etc) on the way. You can't do much about Ping times, beyond tweaking your internal network. Don't use wifi, and run your PC or game system directly into the modem/router, but once it hits the modem, you can't control it. Do a traceroute to see what the ping for each hop is, then you can determine where the issues are at, and if your router is somehow adding to it. You should run it from your PC. On windows, open command prompt and type "tracert webaddress or ipaddress" an Example is: tracert youtube.com which returns something like

Does it bypass hotspot limit =?
Yeah, it uses your data that's for your phone instead of thinking it's a hotspot, so my plan is unlimited with 50 gbs of high speed and 15gbs of hotspot. When I use this it thinks I'm using the 50 high-speed and then it'll stay on that instead of hotspot
