Always been a Stan fan, always LOVED when JBL gave him props on commentary and absolutely love watching JBL watch and listen to Stan like he's a ten year old kid seeing Santa!
love these stories im glad there smart enough to know theres mad people that love listening to the glory days it reminds me of my grandpa telling stories i hang on every word
JBL this is gold! I’ve never laughed so hard in my life! I’m a huge Stan Hanson fan and as you can see from my picture he influenced me a lot. It’s from my retirement match at our Marine Corps reunion and watching you three has been a blast! Please keep doing these! Thank you, God bless and Semper Fi.
Guys I just want to say that this video was way more fun to watch you 3 interact with each other looked like you had a great time thank you all for thee for the memories
So glad I came across your podcasts. Each show is better than the last. You need to advertise better. I've been listening to wrestling podcasts for four years and I'm just discovering these now.
This guy is absolutely on my Mt. Rushmore of heels and not just because of his Great Ability but after an hour or so of this interview, it’s obvious that he is not only a great performer, but also just a great human being.
Stan accidentally turning Siri on was gold. A bit bummed that the calls took away from the story we were about to get on how he got out of having a pistol drawn on him, I need to hear what happened lol. Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw never disappoint but I don’t know if they’ll be able to top this one.
I am from Louisiana . Down here we like football . In Texas though , they breathe it . I was working installing electrical substations and drove through several towns with less than 2,000 people ( some less than 1,000 ) having a state of the art gridiron at their high schools . I can only imagine how rabid the wrestling fans were in the sixties in Amarillo .
I really believe that when the house is small is exactly the time when you turn on the afterburners . You want those that saw it to tell their friends who didn’t go what a hot show it was . That way you built the next house to be bigger and more excitable .
My dad once told me his favorite of all time is Jack Briscoe .. I will tell you this my favorite of all time was Stan Lariat" Hansen. Dad is gone now. Like Jack.
As a kid from New Mexico I adored Bruno Sammartino from reading the magazines even though I never saw him live I believed in him and being like the hood guy until I became a young man and saw Bruiser Brodie
Terry Funk RIP told a story about his dad trying to recruit Stan to be a wrestler. Stan was making 500 a month at the time and they told him he can make 500 being a wrestler. He said I don't know I'm already making 500 a month and they said no Stan that 500 a week. Stan said 500 a week well GD sign me up.
I remember the first time I saw stan Hansen was in 1990 when he beat LEX Luger for the US title. I was a big lex fan as a kid so stan Hansen scared the hell out of me. He was just so damn mean in his promos. Boy, was I relieved when lex regained the title against stan in the rematch. I caught stan late in his career but that was enough to convince me that he was the meanest and most intimidating Texan on the planet.
The AWA is filled with so many great untold stories....really of the Gagne's blowing so many opportunities in the 80's to have a top babyface. In no way does it change their demise...but maybe, who knows, but it absolutely killed their TV product. Of course, there's Hogan...but Rick Martel was great and him and Stan were great together and Martel surviving him would have been great. Curt was a great babyface and they finally build him up, he gets a soon to be retired Bockwinkel at SuperClash...and they do a double turn? Then they lease the belt to Lawler and Kerry Von Erich is there to become your champ at your fist PPV (and I don't care if he had issues, don't care if Jarrett had other ideas), but instead you screw him with a blood stoppage...copying the awful end of the Bash just months earlier? At almost every turn, I just don't get the thinking...unless Greg was always hoping he would take his dad's spot as top babyface and sabotaged everybody else..
His matches in Japan from about 1985-95 are all classics. Go watch a few of those battles with Misawa, Kawada, etc & then try to say wrestling is fake afterwards.
I was 7 when I started watching wrestling when cable TV came to long island in 1981 and Georgia wrestling was pumped in...I was scared of Stan Hansen lollllll...he was so angry
My dad played ball with Stan at West Texas State. He was signed to Arkansas out of Fort Smith High on scholarship but got in trouble for a fight at a whore house in Fort Smith (was still legal at time) and then immediately got drafted to Vietnam (talk about consequences lol) upon discharge WTS recruited my dad as he still had two years left of eligibility. Ted Dibiase, Bruiser Brody, Tito Santana, Stan Hansen, etc. Lot of wrestlers played ball there. My dad was good friends with Dory Funk Sr bc of football and horse racing. He didnt care for Terry or Dory Jr. Because they were into drugs as it was known. Stan was a genuine wild man and whats not told here is when Stan bit coaches knuckles bc he had grabbed Stans facemask during practice and was jerking him around.
God bless Stan Hansen he still looks like he's in incredible shape for his age and has a great sense of humor
Always been a Stan fan, always LOVED when JBL gave him props on commentary and absolutely love watching JBL watch and listen to Stan like he's a ten year old kid seeing Santa!
My favorite Stan Hansen moments were when he had chewing tobacco all over his chin and he was acting like a maniac. Pure genius!
Stan is my hero. He's always been my favorite wrestler.
love these stories im glad there smart enough to know theres mad people that love listening to the glory days it reminds me of my grandpa telling stories i hang on every word
Thanks so much for this great interview of a living legend.
This is fantastic... Mutual respect leads to great conversation in an environment like this.
Was a lot of fun for us. Thanks for watching.
3 wrestling legends all at once!!!!!
Bloody brilliant 👍
Thanks! I loved interviewing Stan.
This was an amazing show. I loved getting to hear so many incredible stories from three all time greats and I can't wait for the next episode.
Thanks, appreciate you watching.
This is my favorite podcast on TH-cam. Keep it up guys.

Thanks! Stan is such a good man.
I love watching JBL sitting silently with a childish grin on his face just enjoying listening to one of his heroes
The two best cowboys in wrestling ever!!! Love this. As a kid, Stan Hansen scared the crap out of me. What a cool man. And great podcast!
Guys I just want to say that this video was way more fun to watch you 3 interact with each other looked like you had a great time thank you all for thee for the memories
Brisco is dominating this conversation. Poor John can't get a word in edge wise.
He's like Ricky Morton of the Rock n Roll Express...he won't let nobody else talk....Ric Flair same way. Flair is bad to interupt
So glad I came across your podcasts. Each show is better than the last.
You need to advertise better. I've been listening to wrestling podcasts for four years and I'm just discovering these now.
I'm a HUUUUGE fan of this podcast!!!! As i am of Brisco and JBL in general
Three alpha males. Definitely missing in today's wrestling.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome stuff, big fan of Bradshaw and Hansen
Thanks! Glad you like it! We love doing them
This is wonderful, and Stan Hansen was/is the MAN!
This guy is absolutely on my Mt. Rushmore of heels and not just because of his Great Ability but after an hour or so of this interview, it’s obvious that he is not only a great performer, but also just a great human being.
Stan Hansen hard-core performer
Watching these guys deal with modern tech is almost as great as the stories they tell.
Always heard bad stories about JBL but on these interviews he seems like a great guy
Great show and lmafo
Thank you guys
Stan Hansen LEGEND !!!
This was fantastic...👍
Greatness. We need dory on the show!
The Last Outlaw!
Yes, he is! Thanks.

This is the best interview show or whatever. I dont even mind JBL 2 much☝️

Great interview....glad to see Stan Hansen is still kicking
My dad once told me his favorite of all time is Jack Briscoe .. I will tell you this my favorite of all time was Stan Lariat" Hansen. Dad is gone now. Like Jack.

Stan Handsen was great stories about bruiser brody and bruno and story in japan.
Like the don frye and dan severn podcast, it shows that you dont need an unknown pc host guy, just the men
I remember Seeing Stan Hanson and Flair at the old Omni in Atlanta.. Stan hit flair so hard with a Chair I thought he Killed Flair
Uncle Stan!!!
Bradshaw's trademark Clothesline From Hell was inspired by Hansen's Lariat.
I remember the first time I saw stan Hansen was in 1990 when he beat LEX Luger for the US title. I was a big lex fan as a kid so stan Hansen scared the hell out of me. Stan hansan was 1 scary dude in the ring watta show he put on
The Lariat and the clothesline from hell….. Bradshaw did it identical to Hansen, Bradshaw would have been huge in the mid 80’s
His matches in Japan from about 1985-95 are all classics. Go watch a few of those battles with Misawa, Kawada, etc & then try to say wrestling is fake afterwards.
I got a big fat wife and nine kids at home and I gotta feed them. Hero to us all!
Stan Hansen and Bradshaw's early single career.
tommy rich was the prototype baby face...no doubt ..early 80s he was fire
Those two also teamed up a fair bit in the Georgia territory
Stan Hadsen vs bruno classic great match
He seems so calm for being so wild! HUUUUUUUU!!!!
London Kentucky loves ya
John stole Stan's gimmick and style.
Jbl's idol the lariat
I was 7 when I started watching wrestling when cable TV came to long island in 1981 and Georgia wrestling was pumped in...I was scared of Stan Hansen lollllll...he was so angry
Can you hear me now lol
he looks like Wilford Brimley!
Hansens lariat > JBLs clothesline
JbL hero
The Lariat is the GOAT
Lmafo damm skippy lmafo
Heeeeeeeeeeee
