All it took for Luna, is to deal a hit on low defense Matsuri while taken the full barrages of attack, and then boom we got a tsundere Matsuri. But in recent stream, we can see that the fortress can be pierced through by the shrieking banshee that is Haachama

@@hedmeddig It is a suffix that Luna uses on the end of her sentences and also comes in the shortened form "Nora". It has emerged in Japanese culture as a way of defining a character- a cat person will add "nyan" to their sentences, naruto adds "dattebayo" to his sentences, or pokemon say nothing BUT their suffixes. Luna just uses it because it has an aesthetically cute ring to it, and it links in a way to her name ending in "Na". She even says or is called "Lunanoraaaaa" affectionately sometimes I think.

It should probably be mentioned that this stream is very old when Luna was still way more defensive and in character. These days Luna has loosened up considerably. Haachama is just collabing with her at a time where Luna is already more prone to react more like her real self. Matsuri has made her break character as far back as in May, so she still is way ahead.

The more she hides her personality, the more fun it is to discover new things.
By adding a shield and making it a "set", I would argue Matsuri made the fancier sword. She even added a sparkle!
The way I interpreted it is very similar to yours.
Matsuri having a simple sword that sparkle means that she isn't lying to the audience. That really is what represents her at her best. But the shield probably signifies that she's hiding behind her own insecurities. She's true to herself, while having to lug her own baggage.
The stupid huge flaming monster hunter-esque greatsword drawn by Luna begs to differ.
