If you drive a 90s/00s manual sports car, don’t get a touch screen car play unit. Get this instead. It will suit your car better visually and thematically, and will keep your focus where it should be - on the driving.
I have been with Nielsen Online UK for years. I built up a massive amount of points. Purchased Amazon vouchers, so got this DAB radio for £12.00. Radio shop wanted £100.00 to fit it. How hard can it be, I thought. Piece of cake and it's excellent. Luckily the previous owner of the car had installed one and left the aerial in when he removed the radio.
Would whish that the chosen color theme remains between modi. After choosing an adjusted color setup, comparable to the colors of the car display, it still changes into a whole other color scheme when going into the 'settings menu' and 'phone modus'. Which helps some people, i guess then (???) Would be nicer if only the central button changes in a distinctive color, instead pauzing the whole theme.
Hi there . I just bought this exactly radio for my Opel Astra H 07’. The question is if its possible to conected with the steering wheel and also to see the hidden information of the vehicle like oil temperature , day, hour etc etc. If i disconnect the OEM one the small screen shows info and i need to know. Thank you in advance
The pioneer fs-s820dab allows users to listen to radio while having phone paired receiving things like sat nav directions from phone. Can this radio do this? Asking as the pioneer seems to have app sync issues (looking at the most recent syn app reviews and issues online) so i really wanted this radio but only if it allows me to do this. (Not really bothered about alexa as its quite guimicky)

Wire harness faulty probably. Got the right one? Never had so many problems before as my current audi when changing to aftermarket radio. Its like the LED evolution for lighting, standard fittings to easily replace when defective is being cut loose. Standard radio connectors also, it just makes it difficult I am afraid. There is something to say about embedded functionality between components in the car. But using standards makes less money?
Should think so, still looking for an aftermarket wired button setup if you find any. From experience you can make the radio work with preinstalled steering wheel buttons. Was looking for a compatible Kenwood remote but apparently IR remotes are past tense for these.

Actually very good. Wouldn't look out of place on a cat with an older fascia when things were not so integrated with the dashboard.

Unit has both aerial connections and dab and FM station options 😊
Just curious, do steering wheel inputs work with this model? is it built in or do you need to buy an aditional harness for them?

what year was this released? I can't seem to find this info on any head units and it concerns me as to the age of the bluetooth component.
