Real nice projects there man ! I'm glad to see things like this on TH-cam BMX riding is the best, you didnt ride a proper BMX setup for freestyle & stuff but the feelings you have while riding a BMX is completely different from any other bikes & that's why i love it so much, i'm not much a park rider, i just like to street ride & just go wherever the flow guides & there is nothing like it. Pure freedom Props to you for doing this :)
@@camilobmxtravel I've done over 100 kms a day for a week straight and you bike pack frame bag seat bag handlebar bag not a high amount of weight at all
@@camilobmxtravel With his poor riding ability, injured knee, and lack of experience. 120miles a day or 193km. What saved him is the low gear the bike has. Since he's inexperienced on a bike with gears, he would have shifted to higher gear blown himself up and would have had to quit at 40 miles or 64km each day. When you are a beginner it's best to ride a single speed with a really low gear. You'll cover 100 miles a day easy and you won't be destroyed.
How many brain cells does a regular person need, to come up with the idea of riding a BMX half way across the country? Anyways, part two will be up shortly👊🏻
I live in the US, In the state of MI, We have a trail that goes from one side of the state to the other side of the state and I want to attempt this on my BMX. Not as long as this, it's about half, but it would be a fun challenge.
You are using a cheap bike with a very low seat and low air pressure in the tyres and you go extremely loaded with stuff in the bike and your back. Are you sure you did this 900km ride? In my experience 70km per day is the maximum distance. You did 100km per day non stop without sleeping well and goin up hills? Are you sure this ride was honest?
A cheap BMX bike or not… it’s still a BMX- definitely not made for long distances and I get that. The air pressure were as high as I could get them, wasn’t really an issue. Just because your maximum distance per day is less than someone else’s doesn’t mean that this whole series was fake. And going up hills? I learned very quick that going uphill is impossible, and therefore I walked the bike, as shown in the videos. You just gotta push yourself, and eventually you’ll reach your goals! The human body can do so much more if you just set your mind to it. I like what you do, travelling around the world on a damn BMX. This was my first and last time I’d ever travel on a BMX!
@@Tomz thanks! That's the answer i wanted! You did this great route and that's all!! I confirm that is a great challenge that i could not make myself so you did great!
I did it in a pretty chill 4 days. Obviously I went up and down quite a bit, but it's definitely possible to do it faster. Maybe in one run if you really want to push it, but with 1 night in between would already be absolutely crazy imo. If you managed to do this in a week, then u sure are capabel of a lot more than me haha. It should be possible to get your hands on a pretty cheap second hand road bike. I also can really recommend to put a luggage rack on the back. Most road bikes do not have a way to connect them normally, but I found one that you clamp just under the saddle and just above the back wheels. With three connection points, it's surprisingly sturdy and if you borrow some panniers, you dont have to wear anything on your back. Im not sure about you, but I would probably develop 3 hernia's in just one day of taking all my stuff on my back xD. Im sure you'll really get in some crazy distance with a roadbike setup like that!
Comet 107 That sounds pretty sick, and yeah there’s definitely a lot of mountains in the swiss area! I appreciate the tips you gave me, I might have to look into doing this😳

Dang that's awesome, I did ~600km in Zwitserland this summer, but that was on a roadbike. Cant imagine doing even more on a Bmx xD
Comet 107 I would actually love to try to cycle pretty far on a roadbike, to see how thats like! How long did it take you to reach 600km?🔥🔥
